  • TERRIBLE customer service! Took three phone calls and being on hold numerous times just to request they fax over paperwork, which they promised to do right away and NEVER did! EPIC FAIL.

     
  • Very unprofessional. This is the first time that I've had to call Ally in about 4 years regarding $60 they said I owed regarding my auto payment. When I called and spoke to 'Carla', I couldn't get a direct answer to my questions. She was playing word games and became belligerent, I thought I was speaking with a teenager! I hope the calls are truly monitored because I will never do business with Ally Financial again. Thanks to those reps they have answering the calls in whatever foreign call center now. The audacity, we ship them America's jobs and they're trained to be nasty and arrogant.

     
  • By far, the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 52 years on earth!! Almost an "act of congress" just to get ALLY to even RESPOND to a request for original title to register a vehicle. Called at least "20" times in a two week period, only to have to give the same details over and over and each person at Ally gave a different answer. The request was for my father who has been an Ally customer for the last 3 years; and during that time has ALWAYS paid his bill on time!! What should have taken no more than a week has now taken 3 and a half weeks AND STILL "NO TITLE TO SPEAK OFF." I guess this is what you get for being a loyal paying customer!!! I will definitely be filing a complaint to the BBB. At the end of the calls they actually have the nerve to ask if you want to take a survey. By the end of the calls who even has the energy to participate!!

     
  • I requested a call back from a Supervisor when I could only get an Assistant Supervisor. The Supervisor assigned the call to be returned by another Assistant Supervisor. When I asked for the Supervisor, I was told repeatedly that the Supervisor is unavailable and I got the impression that the Supervisor would never be available…. I will be writing a letter to the CEO and filing a complaint with BBB.

     
  • WORST company I have ever had the dismay of working with. You call their "customer service" line and get to deal with a bunch that barely speak a word of English. You try calling their corporate line and are forwarded BACK to their customer service line. What a waste…NEVER AGAIN ALLY!!!!

     
  • Terrible company. They owe me a refund of close to $6,000.00 and have still NOT been able to get the "authorization" needed in order to pay me back. This has been going on for over 60 days and it's terrible that they don't take my needs into consideration. I will NEVER do business with them again.

     
  • They are not to be trusted. go anywhere but this company. If they are a last result, you are out of luck. I will never deal with them again, and will always tell others to "Run the other direction". They won't help with problems, they'll make it worse.
    GMAC was better. This company stinks.

     
    • Ally Auto has almost sent me to the hospital due to their inability to resolve a simple problem with payments to their payment center. Would leave my name but it wouldn't be without problems.
