  • I received a Brooks Brothers gift card for $100 for my birthday from my daughter. We ordered a King and a Full sheet for a total of $158; $100 from the gift card and $58 from my visa card. When the order was sent, a message came that the King sheet was unavailable, so I took it out and ordered a Queen sheet: total $153. But now the order said I had no funds in the gift card. Then I called customer service and was told that none of the three items was in stock. So asked for the money back. The credit card was not charged, but Brooks Brothers refuses to return the gift card amount, saying it has no record of the gift card payment.
    It is a scam and fraud on the part of Brooks Brothers.

  • WTG Brooks Brothers. Who decided to take the "Madison" and "Traditional" cut out of the brick and motar stores. AND TO MAKE IT WORSE… YOU TOOK THE POCKET OFF A LOT OF THE SHIRTS!!!!. Apparently your "traditional" older life-long customer IS NO LONGER IMPORTANT TO YOU!!!. My husband USED TO purchase shirts at Mich City Indiana (closest store to us) about 1 hr away. He buys a couple times a year… Last fall we didn't realize what that had in stock was all they'd have ever so when he came back in the spring we were SCHOCKED HIS BUSINESS OF BUYING $600 worth of shirts and ties two times a year was no longer important to CORPORATE. I talked to the manager and was told that store turns away customers daily who are disappointed they now only have SLIM AND EXTRA SLIM!!! WTH… ??? I called customer service and was told people have been complaining for nearly a year now. So now the only option is to pay MORE for your "jacked up priced no pocket shirt!!!!" Isn't $75 – $95 enough per shirt for you… really $140 to $192 for one shirt that's probably still made not in the USA. Your "product distribution team" apparently is a bunch of snot nosed egotistical know it all inexperienced millinneals. So kudos and congrats to your 198 year old company for chasing off your loyal customer base who may be a bit older but is more likely to buy your shirts because we actually work at a job and earn good money.   • Have been a Brooks Brothers customer for over fifty years. Shocked when the price of the "Original Button Down Polo Oxford Shirt was jumped from about $89 to $140 ! Worse, Brooks Brothers claims a commitment to tradition and advertises this item as
    "OUR ORIGINAL BUTTON-DOWN POLO OXFORD SHIRT" "An icon of menswear." Over a century since its introduction. "The classic return with authentic details." BUT THESE ARE LIES. The current product lacks a breast pocket and is of a much lighter weight fabric. Although a guess, it also seems to sport a slimmer cut. SHAME ON BROOKS BROTHERS FOR ABANDONING HONESTY AND ABANDONING TRADITION.

  • Whomever is your buyer for womens dress clothing should be fired. To have no womens dress shirts in the common sizes three weeks before christmas is an error of huge proportions.. i have returned my stuff since you have seen fit to crap on women who work in a professional office environment

  • Hi Brooks Brothers,
    I am a frequent client of yours, yet the last purchase really disappointed me.

    Arriving to the store in Bicester Village, I asked what was the starting prices of suits, to which I got 3 different replies: £800+, 400+, 269+ but all where deamable with a 25% discount.

    Looking at the 269gbp suits, I asked once again to confirm, if 269 was the final price or if I was entitled to the 25% extra. To which I was confirm, once again, that the 25% would be deducted from the 269gbp.

    Looked at 2 suits; one was perfect, yet the other one was damaged and not exactly my size. As I still was interested to purchase both, the sales person offered to give me an additional 10% discount on the second suit.

    1h30 after looking into various articles and trying various pieces from your store, with your salesperson, we have agreed on what I was about to purchase:
    – 1st suit at £269, with a 25% discount to be deducted
    – 2nd suit at £269, with a 25% discount to be deducted + a further 10% as it was damaged
    Meaning a total of £383.33 (201.75+181.58) for the suits

    At the till, when paying the person behind the counter (diff sales person, one of the floor managers) decided that the 25% discount on the suits were no further applicable.
    Because I was buying suits as an emergency, and after spending 1h30 in your store and another 30min discussing the overcharged price, the floor manager said that just the two suits would come to a total of £436.80

    This means that I ended up paying an extra 53.47gbp to what I was initially promised!

    It is a great disappointment to see the lack of commitment, tact and care; not to mention the lack of training to personnel.

    I expect a reply to justify the situation that occured to me. And only then I will be able to assess whether or not I shall restore trust in Brooks Brothers and keep purchasing from you.

    UNTIL TODAY MY FAMILY HAS BEEN MORE THAN SATISFIED WITH YOUR PRODUCT AND SERVICE. MY DAILY AND WEEKEND WARDROBE CONSISTS OF ALMOST ALL YOUR PRODUCTS. FORTUNATELY FOR YOUR COMPANY AND MYSELF, MY WIFE HAS THE TIME AND TASTE IN STYLE TO SHOP FOR ME. ONCE WE FIND A MODEL OR STYLE IT IS EASY FOR HER TO OBTAIN THE LATEST VERSIONS WITHOUT MY PRESENCE. TODAY SHE RETURNED A JUST PURCHASED SHIRT THAT WAS CUT DIFFERENTLY THAN IN THE PAST.HER SALESMAN INSTRUCTED HER EXACTLY HOW TO HANDLE (TAGS,WRAPPING ETC.) IN THE RARE EVENT (CHECK OUR RECORDS) IT DIDNT WORK . YOUR STORE MANAGER? NICKKI HIGGINGS RUDELY BROKE INTO THE CONVERSATION MY WIFE WAS HAVING WITH DANIEL (VERY NICE) AND "ACCUSED" HER OF DRYCLEANING THE SHIRT. WE CAREFULLY PLACED NEVER WORN SHIRT ON HANGER AND PUT IN BAG TO PROTECT IT. SHE WAS GREATLY OFFENDED BY THIS EXPERIENCE. SERVERAL OF THE STAFF PRESENT WERE ALSO UNCOMFORTABLE AND TRIED TO SOFTEN THE SITUATION BY MAKING EXCUSES. MY WIFE AND I BOTH CONSIDER THIS CONFRONTATION SIMILAR TO BEING ACCUSED OF BEING DISHONEST. SHE SAYS THAT SHE IS EMBARRASSED TO RETURN TO YOUR SHOP AGAIN AFTER BEING TREATED LIKE A THIEF.

  • I was in your outlet store in Manchester, Vermont over the July 4th holiday. The men's department was so miserable we left. We went back yesterday to buy some suits. My wife and I were appalled that the air conditioning was still out and your employees were working up there in that heat! We feel very strongly that that is abuse! You have lost a customer…I will never shop in a store that would put employees in a situation like that! Is it so important to make a buck that you endanger people's health? It takes a day or so to repair A/C. Not 2 weeks!

  • Reading the above comments, I can understand the frustration these customers/potential customers of Brooks Brothers have experienced. I had actually placed an order online and had to call their cust svc line to inquire why there was a difference of charges placed in the total when I clicked to complete my order. I talked to a woman, gave her my order number, and she pulled it up and I explained that I was wondering why their total differed from mine and she said "it appears if you scroll down far enough. So I explained that I wanted to cancel one of the two items in the order and to go ahead with the other item….She said "I tell you what, I'll cancel the entire order and there will no longer be a problem" (click) she hung up on me….So if this is what I have to go through to place an order with Brooks Bros, then I'm disappointed, to say the least, that you cannot at least talk to me….

  • My husband and i visited the ellenton mall on wednesday as allways spending money there. We purchased a sweater that my husband needed for a extranza party on saturday. Dion the asst manager told us it wasnt in the store so he would send it to our home next day. Well now its friday and still no fedex. I called the store and spoke with leah rude as hell. She advised that they dnt overnite. Well dion didnt tell us that cause we would have paid extra to have that sweater next day. She argued with me hung up the phone on me twice cause i called back. Ok now we dnt have the sweater and monday is a holiday so now we looking at tuesday. You better bet tuesday i will beback at the store for a refund and i will make sure i let everybody know not to shop there. Everybody in our hometown shops from this store cause we love it so much we tell everyone. Never again. And to ms. Leah i hope u dnt make another commision and i will b on the phone tuesday. I guarentee i will resolve this matter. What happend to customers always right. Im very upset now we have to go out in no time and find something else.
