  • What's up with your store at 7500 Dorchester Road in North Charleston, SC? I stop by, pump $40 worth of gas and try to go inside to buy some cigarettes. The doors are locked. This is at 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon. A woman is at the cash register but won't look at any of the customers knocking on the door. Totally ignores them. So I find the store number and call her up. After about a dozen rings, she finally answers and I ask her why she won't unlock the door. She says "It's after 2 o'clock — I don't have to answer the door" Have you all started closing that location at 2 pm on Fridays? Such poor customer service.
    After reading these comments, you apparently have a big problem in the Charleston area. Our Nextdoor website had a lot of complaints about your Dorchester Road store selling gas with water in it. And there were several problems with debit card/credit card numbers being stolen. You can do better — at least I hope you can.

  • 01 FEB '22. Just stopped to get gas at Circle K 2709841 1190 W. Baptist Rd., Monument, CO., 80921. Half of the pumps are out of order. The station wan't great as Shell with the same manager. Now it's terrible. Does anyone at Corporate care? If you aren't going to have the pumps open, why don't you just close it down so folks don't fight the traffic to get in and out? I'm going on down the road.

  • The Circle K locations in Myrtle Beach, have been good, good customer service, clean, etc., for the most part BUT – I think corporate is money hungry, we are having an ice storm today until tomorrow.

    The news has been saying get to where you are going no later than noon time today. Stay put, don't go out, but they refuse to close any of their SC locations and aren't even thinking of or considering the safety of their employees. Absolute disgrace the greed

  • some stores are locked up at night. other stores' bathrooms are in horrific condition, especially one in bradenton, FL off of US 301 & HWY 41 near walmart.

  • hows this for a scam? i go to Circle K on Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point, CA and buy milk. the next day i have a charge in my account for $70 FROM THE OTHER STORE 5 MILES AWAY! once is a mistake, 4 times is fraud. this time i baited them and caught them red handed. used a brand new card, bought milk and sure enough $70 charge from the other store. employees have a little side job.

  • I want to thank Circle k for the manner it which they handled my claim. On 20 March their station in Charleston SC had issues at the pump that caused my car to be towed and me to have to fly home. They reimbursed me for all my expenses based on my receipts. It took them less than two weeks to reimburse me. Thank You Circle K

  • On March 20 @ 2pm I stopped at the Circle K at 130 Rutledge ave in Charleston SC. Store #2721520. I was low on gas, went to fill up. The pump was running extremely slow. I asked the attendant if something was wrong. She replied they were having problems with their pumps. I stopped pumping. In about 2 minutes time only 1.4 gallons had been pumped. I made it about a mile when the engine would not run. I called AAA to get towed. The AAA driver said he had towed 3 cars from gas at that station in the past hour. I called the station back and the attendant initially stated she was talking to supervisor about it as the had other complaints. Then her supervisor told her to hang up on me. I called again and she refused to give me any information. I have not been able to get through on the Circle K customer line. I had to pay $400. to fly home, Will have to pay another $200 to fly back when my car is fixed. And Pay Rick Hendricks Jeep $850. to flush the fuel system and change the plugs. This is clearly in the lap of Circle K. It would seem the tanks were allowed to get empty, and customers were allowed to pump whatever is in the bottom of the tank into their cars. If I cannot get through, I will have a lawyer take action on it for reimbursement of costs incurred due to this.

  • I am a frequent customer at one of your locations in Laredo, TX store# 328930 102 cielito lindo.. I used the car wash at this store it was about approx. 19:23-19:33. The car wash severely damaged my car. I have taken photos and made a video of the damage of my car as evidence of the time that it happened. Obviously at this time of night there is no one in charge; no team lead, no assistant manager, not even a employee that would know what to do in a situation like this. There will be a person in charge in the am named Martha. These types of situations do not give a good impression of how a business is being managed. As a company your store should take some responsibility as to what happens when car washes have equipment failure or malfunction. Very few customers complain about it but I have a very serious problem or else I wouldn't be taking the time to tell you. Who will pay for my damages? Who will take responsibility? I guarantee the store or corporate will not do it.. If I need to sue the outside 3rd party company I would like to know who it is. Will talk to whoever is in charge tomorrow and find out.

  • I have gone to your Circle K station on Hawkins Ave. in Akron, Oh. trying to get the case of water that you sent out coupons for and they never have the water(in fact I just left there) and they still don't have the water. The coupons end on the 31st, will there be an extention on the coupon or not, since they never have the water when I go every other day. A reply back would be appreciated. plus my being able to get the water after the 31st if I can't get it by then.

  • I went into the store 441, 3603 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta Ga. 30906 on Sunday 8/18/2018. The environment in the store seemed to be a little hostile and unfriendly. We were the only white people in the store there were eight black employees. Not sure, why the store does not have a diverse work force and only hires one race. It did seem and little odd. The young black girl behind the register attempted to steal money. I presented a $4 winning lottery ticket and she said I had won $2. I know the lottery tickets are scanned when you turn them in as a winner. I corrected her and bought some other tickets and stuff. I did not realize I was over charged until I got home and looked at the receipt. We had also bought some food at a Blimpie’s in the store. I went to the cooler to pick up some beer and there was none on the shelf. I went into the cooler and found a six-pack of the beer. Once I got home and opened one and took a sip, I realized someone had poured out the beer in the bottle and filled it with a more expensive beer, Heiniken. Anyone that has drunk beer can tell the difference. Someone is tampering with the alcoholic beverages in the cooler. I image the six pack I got out of the cooler is not the only one that was tampered with. This new store was built where the old one was. I sure hope someone with authority looks into this stores operations. I do not plan on going back in there and will share our experience on social media someone is going to get into a big argument in there one day or call the police. I was looking at some of the other complaints and it appears that nothing is done about the issues that are presented to the corporate office. I will not be returning to a Circle K again if possible.

First it was just at some of the pumps, NOW IT IS ALSO INSIDE THE STORE…. sounds like you have an employee involved.   • On 30DEC17 I went to your store #8426470 at 1874 MEMORIAL Dr., CLARKSVILLE, TN. There was a sign taped to the pumps stating they were running slow. I had time so I started to pump gas. It ran at a rate that delivered one gallon of gas every 3+ minutes. I filled my tank. The pump showed I put in over 10 gallons. The pump did NOT shut off causing a gas spill. After paying my tab, I turned on my vehicle to log my millage and purchase. My gas display stated that I had room for 7.1 gal. I feel your pump is in accurate on the amount delivered at such a slow rate of operation.

    Problems you created:
    -SAFETY automatic delivery nosile shut off does not work at slow rate of flow.
    -Improper advertising–$2.09 on pump, I got charged $21.42 for 7.1 gal.

So it is against Circle K "policy" to have gun at work. THEN CHANGE THE STUPID POLICY CORPORATE BIG HEADS!   • Yesterday, Tuesday Sept 5, 2017, I was trying to get my car filled ahead of the upcoming Irma hurricane. I was moving slowly because of a large service truck at the opposing pump and a large Pepsi semi in the turning area. I gently hit one of the upside down u's. The U was disguised by a banner, which hid the base which actually flared out. I hit the bottom of my rear door. I don't know how much $$ damage was caused by the impact. It could have been worse. Also , the BP gas was almost $4 a gallon. I think they are gouging. I intend to report to the state of FLorida if I don't hear form you. Otherwise it has always been a great place to do business.

  • I over heard a lady talking to her mother about a manager at one of your Tucson store that makes her own schedule so that she can be home to make sure her boyfriend isn't out and about since he no longer is working.

    She even makes a run pass their house whenever she thinks someone is there just to check up on him.

    This manager has left the store and picked up her boyfriend so that he could get to work when he was working. She is always on her phone checking up on this same boyfriend. Using the restroom as an excuse to be on her phone constantly.

    Was constantly telling him when she was making a money drop over the phone. Having him always bring her something from any restaurant just so that she knew when and where he was at.

    Constantly talking about her employees and their weight, eating habits, no doing any work but she is always taking longer to go get things like printer paper from Walmart that is farther away than a Target, Staples or Office Max. She took her time and walked around with her boyfriend even when she knew she should have been back to work.

  • Good Morning, I work for a business that is located across the street from 3300 main st. There is myself and 14 crew members so that is 15 polar pops and whatever impulse buys we make 6 days a week. Lately the soda machine has been broken every other day. I made contact with the GM and I was informed that corporate was unwilling to fix the machine due to the high cost. I would think since Circle K is buying up all the convenient stores in the surrounding area that you could afford to replace this machine. Beside the issue with the soda machine I think you have some management issues as well. There are days that the soda machine works but the store has no cups. Candy and drink products will be empty on the shelves. This is a busy store especially in the morning. There are quite a few businesses that shop here. There will only be one cashier so the line is so long it goes all the way down the aisle to the cooler. Today I went in and decided to get Subway. I was told the only had 2 loaves of oat and honey bread. That was all nothing else beside biscuits not even cookies. Now I know choosing another Circle K store to shop at means you still get the profits but its very inconvenient. I hope you make some changes. Thank You

  • Store location is 1219 OH 28 Store # 5229,the name tags I wrote down was patty, and Alexis, if the spelling is right. One was coming into work was patty and Alexis was leaving. I came into the store to get a soda and stuff. They did not even noticed that I was in the store. I Over heard Patty talking to Alexis about how high she got that night before and she was tired. And Alexis responded that she got that high also and didn't even want to come into work that day. So my Advice to Corporate is To do a mandatory Drug Test on these two people. The bigger girl patty drove a black looking SUV. And the girl that was leaving had a all silver car. And they both where glasses. So please for all your customers that come to this circle K. Please Drug test them.

  • Upsetting that this corporation was started in my hometown of El Paso, TX but somehow their headquarters are in AZ. The town that helped create and grow your corporation into the billion dollar industry that you are now is now left in the shadows. El Paso is an expanding city with new businesses emerging throughout this beautiful city. It would only seem right to bring the headquarters of a major corporation back to its original roots. JUST MY OPINION.

  • This is in regards to the Manager at the Jetmore, Ks location. I, as a frequent customer, should not hear the manager YELLING at another employee to the point where she is CRYING.So unprofessional. I have also THREE TIMES NOW told the Manager Erica about the FOUR mice I have seen by the fountain machine. Today was the last day I tell her about the mice. The next time I see a mouse in the store I will be contacting the health department about said mice and the fact that the older woman making the breakfast quesadillas does not restrain her hair with a net or hat. With this being the only convenience store in this town I would hope that someone will be in contact with her soon. If not I will be happy to let everyone in the county know that it is unsanitary to purchase anything from this location.

  • Looks like I am not the only customer dealing with a local store with seemingly untrained and incompetent employees.

    This review is for the store @ 809 Olive Street in Shreveport, LA. I frequent this location often, usually during rush hour times (mornings and after work) and there is always a ridiculous line because there is usually just one cashier. Well this morning was no different. There was one cashier checking and one employee stocking. A customer at the very end of the line said to the employee stocking, "shouldn't you be checking people out since this line is so long." The two employees then looked at each other and said so and so is here…where is she. A few minutes later an employee came sauntering up to the open register like she was doing the customers a favor. She never stated, "I can help the next guest in line," which caused an argument in the store. You had people just walking up to her register. Now I work retail and I know that there is a policy when there is a line and how you should check out the person in line. The customer service is so bad in this store that I usually just bypass this location and drive to the one at the corner or Line Ave and Pierremont Road and then turn around and drive back to that area for work. The Circle K name has become affiliated with bad customer service and ghetto cashiers who care nothing about any sort of customer service which is nuts because that is all they do during their shift….CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am sure the store mgmt. is aware of this issue and it would seem as if a District Manager should get involved with all of these complaints.

  • Bought beer (55 years old) gave cashier Driver's ID) she swiped my card. I got very upset. "You don't swipe it! You look at it!" She asked why not. I replied,"You know why, ask your manager", She said, "Please tell me why"

  • Regarding Lottery payouts and other training issues. I just received a letter back from California Lottery headquarters regarding a torn but taped ticket I sent to them to be reviewed, it was a $12.00 winner. I know it isn't much but the point is the clerks NEED TRAINING on how to read a payout. On this occasion I had a $12.00 win plus a replay, the clerk put the ticket in to be scanned and said here's your replay ticket, the ticket was NOT a winner and tore the ticket. After leaving I had questions so I returned to retrieve the ticket to send to Lottery Headquarters. My Letter from the CA Lottery clearly states that on May !6th Fantasy Five Ticket # 090-54114329-108335 was cashed by our retailer, Circle K 0736, on May 16th 2016 for a total of $12.00. If this is how you train your clerks to get extra $$ for your store it's not a good choice. I am contemplating calling the Security/Law Enforcement Division to investigate. I have talked to one of the girls in the store she said she would review tapes but cannot find out if $$ went to Store #0736. Not a good policy if these people are NOT trained to view the whole transaction, when I told them there were 3# on the ticket making it a $12.00 winner they said they couldn't run the ticket again because it had already been scanned, bad answer! I don't believe the girl took the money (giving benefit of the doubt) but this has happened once before and was resolved by the manager. Training is important, please see that the employees are capable of being trained or don't hire them.

  • I just left the Circle K store located at 2837 Broad River Road, Columbia, SC. As I was walking to the back where the coolers are located, your cashier yells, "Ma'am! I didn't think she could possibly be talking to me as I JUST ENTERED the store so I kept walking. I then hear the cashier again yell "MA'AM!" I looked at the other female customer across the aisle thinking the cashier was talking to her. She was looking at me and I was looking at her and we were both trying to figure out who the cashier was talking too. Please allow me to say if this is how your cashiers greet their customers, Circle K needs to do a much better job at training their associates!) I then saw the cashier looking at me and I asked her politely, "Are you talking to me?" because I was simply baffled! She replied, "Yeah, what are you in here for?" with such an attitude. I was appalled!! Is that how Circle K trains its employees to greet their customers???? I then told her I was going to the back to get a drink. She then said, again with an attitude, "Well, the cold drinks are in the cooler on the wall over there, otherwise you'll have to drink a hot drink if you want a drink from back there!!" At this point, I didn't care if the damn drink was hot or cold …. I have NEVER walked into a place and been so rudely attacked such as I was today!!! I told her I didn't want anything she had she was selling in that store and I walked out!! I got back to work and called the store and this same cashier answered the phone. I asked for her supervisor's name and phone number. Of course, she has to put me on hold and then she hung up on me. I then called back a second time and a different cashier answers the phone and says to someone else, "she wants the supervisor's name and phone number!". The then so-called supervisor gets on the phone and wants to know what the problem is. I then ask for her name and she refuses to give it to me. I explained to her what happened and she says, "Ma'am, I was here when that happened and I heard what she said to you. She was just letting you know that you didn't need to walk all the way to the back of the store to get a drink." If this supervisor ALLOWED what just took place to happen, thinking everything is ok with the way that I was treated, CIRCLE K really needs to re-think the type of employees it is hiring!!! I then asked her for HER SUPERVISOR'S NAME and she refused to give it to me.

    I will NEVER, EVER set foot back in a Circle K Store again and I will make sure that my friends and family don't either since Circle K management thinks this type of behavior by your employees is acceptable.

  • Concerning store at 3920 tuscawaras ave in Canton Ohio… Signs everywhere saying have Id ready, and elderly with silver hair have to show ID for cigs or beer? I been going there one year I am 55,, have to show ID? Sorry about the big fine for employee selling to underage alcohol, but have to say this is bull, even employees there think so , and it slows down the service,, plan on protesting outside Saturday with 9 others I talked to outside about it and they are coming ,, #NOT KIDDING

  • I'm not really sure how to go about filing a complaint. but I went into your Circle K store in Karnes City Texas and picked up a tray of fish at 9:20pm on 4/1/2016 and also a few other items. I live right around the corner from the store. When I arrived home I started to eat my food and when I tried to bite into the fish there was no meat in it because it had been overcooked. I'm sure it was put back in the grease to reheat it. So I called the store to let them know that I would be back there once I got done tending to my father who is handicap. The lady on the phone was rude. I came back to the store and the woman that had waited on me was rushing to her car to leave the store. So I went ahead and took the fish inside anyway. A lady named Kristina was there and had a really bad attitude and proceeded to wait on the other customers while I stood there with the fish. Finally I let her know that Im the one who called and she rolled her eyes and asked for the receipt. I told her that I was never given one. So she says well uh… let me see if I can find it. She pulls it up and says well you brought that over 40 minutes ago! I look at the receipt and told her that the receipt said 30 minutes ago and I only live around the corner which I drove home, ate the other things that I purchased and then returned to the store. I wasn't complaining about the fish being cold. I said it was not edible so the time that had past was irrelevant. She says was no one even there to cook anymore. I said okay well then I'll need my money back because this fish is dried out and overcooked because it was refried to heat it up. She reluctantly gave me my money back with and attitude. Didn't apologize or even make eye contact! Then walked off without saying anything after she gave it to me. It was only $5 but its just the point! I go in this store I'm sure twice a day and have been going to this store since I was a kid before it was even Circle K and have never been treated this way! Something must be done! She needs some customer service training!

  • I am not surprised by the number of comments concerning rude and/or indifferent customer service. It is obvious that this corporation does not care for its customers or its employees. I tried complaining about the situation, but have decided that the best policy with such people is simply to cease doing business with them, and that's my advice to others who have had a bad experience with Circle K/Kangaroo. They have plenty of competitors and I'll be spending my money with them instead of giving it to arrogant corporate owners who don't care about their customers. Bye-bye, Circle K – you won't be getting any more of my hard-earned cash!

  • Circle k 5th street run by 19year olds that have no sense maneger is never there at all rude kids running this store a young lady named Sarah is the only person I seen working and busting her ass with a smile while the rest sat and talked and this is a daily scene there. Get adults running this store not children.

  • I had a tire blow out and pulled into the location on 24th and Lindsay in Norman,Ok. Before I could even get out of the car to determine which tire was blown an amazing and very respectful employee named Dylan was at my window offering his assistance. 15 min later I was back on the road. As I was pulling out another employee was assisting another customer with getting their keys out of their locked car. Faith in humanity restored. These men need significant raises. I have tried for a few days to call corporate to let them know how lucky they are to have these men working for them. THANK YOU DYLAN FOR BRINGING SUNSHINE TO MY CLOUDY DAY!

  • Kudos to your great Management and Staff at your Frank Lloyd Wright and 100th Street location in Scottsdale, Arizona 8560. Your Manager Gloria is excellent as are the rest of the Staff, notably Holly, Corey and Christine.
    Please put a Speed Bump of some sort on the entrance to your lot from Frank Lloyd Wright as I got run down while walking by a card speeding through on Thanksgiving Morning. Driver ran over my shoe and knocked me down. Very scary. You don't want people getting killed or suing you over this kind of thing.

  • As I go into the circle K on Sandario in Marana 7:30 pm 10-10-15, I notice your employee Nicole, I say hi, and pick out two lighters and step up to pay, all of a sudden she starts to lecture me about getting gas at the pump, ( awhile back I purchased fuel in a gas can and a credit card and the another customer was shopping inside) she said she got yelled at by another customer and thought she should pass it on,( it tells me she didn't handle that issue correctly either), anyways she persisted through the transaction and scolded me in front of other customers in the store and at the counter, she was very loud so that every customer in that store heard Nicole chastising me, this is unacceptable in all ways, I am calling corporate on Monday morning, how much ruder can you get. VERY DISRESPECTFUL !!!

  • I was over charged for refilling my own jug cup from 10000 block Two Notch Rd. Store in Columbia SC. There are signs posted over the fountain drinks all sizes $0.69. I was charged a $1.00. When every other time I was charged the $0.69. As the signs are posted as my son is with his Circle K refill jug cup. The manager was rude about the situation. I came in the next day and refilled the same cup expecting to pay the $1.00 no big deal. The manager starts on me as soon as I get to the fountain machine when she walked away I made a comment to myself another customer told the manager what I had said. The manager would not take my money for the drink in my own cup, treated me, and told me not to come back in her store, like she owns it. I did nothing wrong but point out that she was over charging me and I had a lawyer for false advertising and made a comment (freedom of speech quietly). The manager at this store needs an attitude of a manager before she loses all of this stores business.

  • The new manager at the Corona Circle K store at 3rd & Main St. Is extremely rude. She yells at costumers, people delivering goods to store & scoolds employees in front of costumers. I have been patronizing this store for 10 years because the employees are so polite & nice. They are like family. I & others I've spoken with will not be returning to this location untill she is gone. Extremely improper attitude for a manager. I'm shocked your company allows this to continue! If she was a simple cashiers she would be fired quick for her behavior! Get it together Circle K! Your going to loose your store! Mad as hell customer!

  • It has come to my attention that Circle K has a policy against rest periods (10 minutes paid per every 4 hours or major fraction worked) and meal periods (30 minutes unpaid for every 5 hours worked). Here in the state of Colorado, this is a violation of Colorado Department of Labor wage and hours law. And this is occurring at a location in Centennial Colorado per the direction of the district manager Lali Dhillon. A complaint has been filed with the Colorado DOL. And a joint class action lawsuit is being drafted.

  • Circle K at Ironwood and Ocotillo in San Tan Valley AZ! Why is it that every time we go there they NEVER have Co2? Isn't Circle K known for their POLAR POPS? We can never get a drink at this location and it's getting ridiculous! This is an EVERY DAY THING! Once in a while they might be in service but 98% of the time they have papers up staying that there are No Fountain Drinks! Get Another Co2 System In This Location! It's One Of The Busiest Stores! They should NEVER RUN OUT OF FOUNTAIN DRINKS! All this is doing is making the neighbors that go there very upset and angry! WE ARE FRUSTRATED! THIS IS STUPID! PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS ASAP!   • I would like to make a complaint at you store on Power Rd and Warner. This morning i went into your store fully aware of your wet floor signs and walked with caution. I started walking slowly to get a water and slipped and fell on your floor. I then got up, got a water and slowly walked to the registers. I then indicated to the women who was behind the counter that i had fallen and her response was "well"…… we have wet floor signs up! I said that i seen them but i still fell. She proceeded with my transaction and didn't even ask if i was ok. I was totally taken back by her lack of care. I couldn't believe this is how companies train their employees. Yes I did hurt myself, I am in pain, (if anyone cares to know) and I'm very upset. Sincerely upset, Beth Boyd

  • I work for circle k and our store has black mold the manager a joke and i got suspended for missing a store meeting. I work nights and the meeting was at 11 am, i work nights!! I sleep in the mornings. I tried to call the manager and txt him, nothing never told me i was suspended i found out from the guy i worked with. I also called the market manager twice nothing. Managers and market managers should always be available to answer their phone especially if it was a five minute rule.

  • How in the world do you expect people to purchase gift cards from you. I purchased a gift card in Lafayette, In for my wife's birthday. I found out hours later and sixty miles away that they had taken my money and FAILED TO ACTIVATE THE CARD. I had to drive back SIXTY MILES to get them to activate it!!!!!!!!! After I straightened that out I handed it to my wife. She then went to the circle K in Palos Heights–trace number 00374760–and she was told it was declined. She told my wife it had $50.00 on it but THEY COULDN'T GET IT OFF THE CARD!!!! She also said that it wasn't uncommon. Another lady came there who was from Florida and had her gift card decline( a great sales pitch for selling more gift cards to me–lol) They told her she needed to call the number on the back. SEEMS to me that circle K EMPLOYEE should have called the number on the back to see why SHE wasn't entering it in correctly!!!! My wife calls the number the next day(because she called and got a voice mail that they weren't open until monday thru friday). I called later and they said she needed to have them punch it in manually. She then went to the circle K at steger rd and il 394 in crete,il and told them that they needed to punch it it manually and again it was declined. NOW TELL ME WHY WOULD SOMEONE WHO HEARS ALL THIS AND DEALS WITH THIS WANT TO EVER BUY ANOTHER CIRCLE K GIFT CARD? DO YOU REALLY SELL THAT MANY GIFT CARDS ? IT SEEMS NO ONE PERSON SEEMED TRAINED ON HOW TO SELL OR REDEEM A GIFT CARD—HOW CAN YOU EXPECT TO SELL THEM IF YOUR EMPLOYEES DON'T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!
