  • Wow!!! It would appear that the Crosslands aka hometowne studios is absolutely disgusting and there employees are apparently awful everywhere!!! I was staying at the crosslands in kent wa for 72 days my rent was 32 minutes late and they kicked me out because it was the 4th time it had been late in 70 days… and by late it was never more than 40 minutes late, which I paid the late fee. If it was so awful to be a little late why is there a late fee?? On the day that I was kicked out they gave me less than 30 minutes to pack up all my stuff mind you I had been staying there for more than 70 days so basically it's like packing up an entire apartment and under 30 minutes impossible since I was 30 minutes over the time they gave me to pack up my things the lady mandolin decided to call the police so the police stood there while I pack up my things not only that but a bag of laundry came up missing out of my room which had my white towels in it all of my White's including tank tops Etc as well as my wallet sitting on top because I had just gotten back from the laundry room when I went down to pay my rent on the way down parently they had closed the office to go check the rooms and the lady locked me out of my room so I couldn't even get back into my room this place is absolutely awful when I first moved into my room it took me four days to clean it it was repulsive there was hair everywhere the bathroom on the floor was just black from Gunk that heater look like somebody threw cool a sticky Kool-Aid all over it the kitchen had a hair stuck all over the stove it was absolutely awful I wish I could send pictures I don't know what is wrong with the housekeepers and how they can even keep their job as far as mandolin goes the lady at the front desk when she was talking to another customer as I was standing behind him trying to deal with being kicked out and my things she told the gentleman that she has tried to quit her job but they won't let her quit so she wishes they would just fire her so apparently she doesn't even want to work here anyways I think she should be fired immediately she's definitely unprofessional and I know for certain she stole my bag of laundry with my wallet on top which had money my driver's license my social security card my kids social security card the lady should be fired immediately unacceptable it's pretty unbelievable that almost every Crosslands in the United States has the same issues I think there is obviously a huge problem here

  • My husband and I enjoy staying at this hotel for the location, the price and the fact that we have been around for such a time as to know a lot of the guests who stay as well as the staff. Since the new management has taken over, however, things have not been changed for the better. The remodling that was done is very nice and the rooms look great, but that is merely cosmetic. For a room that costs over $300 a week, it should come with a maid service and toilet paper and clean linnens at the VERY least. Also, if certain policies were to change concerning room rates or money reimbursements, the guests should be made aware of that fact from check-in. We hope to be able to continue our relationship with this hotel for ourselves and all of our friends and family who we have stay there as well whenever they are in town, but if these things are not resolved, we will be forced to discontinue those relationships as well as spread the word that Crossland Economy Studios West Oaks and Crossland Economy Studios Northwest (also in Houston where we have had the same issues) are NOT the places to stay when in Houston. The prices may be the cheapest around, but you aren't even getting what you pay for!!! We would like to know what the hotel is going to do to rectify this situation and compensate us for our inconvience which the hotel itself has caused.

  • My husband and I have stayed at the Crossland West Oaks location in Houston Texas many times over the past three to four years. We usually stay at least a month at a time and have been here for a month so far at the moment. This most recent stay, however has been quite different:

    1. We have always had our hotel taxes reimbursed after day 30 and that pays for the next week's stay. It has always been automatically done. We are now being told, however, that we have to file a form for reimbursement and that it could take up to another week to receive an answer if we are going to get the money or not. In our current situation we can not afford not to get that refund and it puts us in a very difficult place not having been told about the possibility of not receiving it in the first place. Why has this practice changed when every other hotel we have ever stayed in, INCLUDING THIS ONE has always given us the 30 day tax refund?

    2. We have been here for 30 days tomorrow and NOT ONCE has a maid even come to knock on our door offering to clean. The cleaning schedule states that if you are here for a week the maid comes once a week and replaces sheets, towels, sweeps/vacuums etc. If we have needed a broom or anything to clean our OWN room we have to track down the maid and chase her down every time.

    3. We have to take our own dirty sheets and towels down to the office if we would like replacements. Every time we take the dirty ones in however, there are never replacements at that time so we have to wait, sometimes more than a day, to get clean ones. Also, instead of letting us know when there are clean ones, we have to take it upon ourselves to keep checking with the office until we just happen to call at the right time. The first week we were here we took our comforter in to be washed with our sheets and it took two weeks for us to get a clean comforter because the office was always "out of clean ones". This is unacceptable!Most of the time when we do get clean towels, we are only given one set at a time when the room is suppose to come with two sets of towels, wash cloths, hand towels and a bath mat.

    4. Because we do not get a visit from the maid service at all, we do not get our toilet paper replaced or shampoo or soap or anything the hotel is suppose to provide. When we have to go up to the office to get toilet paper, the ladies in the office always act like it is the biggest inconvience that we are asking for it. If we. as guests, are suppose to provide our own toiletries, we should be notified UP FRONT and the rooms should not cost the same as a hotel that does supply those things.

    5. For the most part the ladies in the office are at least moderately polite but are far from friendly and have the attitude that everything we as of them is inconviencing them in the worst way. Guests are no longer allowed in the hotel lobby due to some armed robberies that have happened at this hotel and are forced to communicate with the office via a two inch thick glass window while standing out side in the south Texas heat with no chairs or anything. It is very hard to hear through the glass and if there is no one standing directly at the window, it is impossible to get someones attention because there is no bell or any other type of notification device to let the office know someone is waiting to be served. This is highly inconvient and could potentially dangerous for people with health issues having to stand outside in such heat expecially because the window is situated in a hallway that has very little air flow.

  • Yes I would like to make a complaint against Robert Muhammad he told me if I was going to be outside my room I had to wear my shirt like I was in a jail or prison or something very nasty rude man you should really hire better people especially for general manager's I was going to extend my stay another week but I'm now going to be looking for another hotel where they don't harass their guest's

  • Crossland extended stay in Irving Texas was by far the worst hotel I have ever ever ever stayed in hotel room was extremely dirty the manager wouldn't give money back I asked her to clean the room at 10pm at night when we arrived which room should of been cleaned that morning she said she might be able to clean it if we have her another hour but she said the hotel was running low on sheets so she might not be able to give us clean ones .. What hotel says that???????? There was creepy creepy people living there and drug deals and prostitution all hours of the night. I have tried to call corporate for over a month and no answer so either they are to lazy to answer the phone or they have a million complaints a day

  • What a shame when the helpful staff at the front desk at Crossland HOTEL at Addison left. The place is a haven for criminal activity, namely prostitution, but there are murderers, domestic violence, drug dealing, trespassers and thieves going through the windows or removing doors. Last night ,May 5,2017, ambulance and firetruck at 3AM. Thepolice come about three times week. Insect infestation is awful and new manager will do nothing. Guest must wash hotel linen themselves or do without. There are no kitchen utensils as advertised.No housekeeping-paid maids and cleaned toilet myself. I should be reimbursed eighty dollars for paying a maid from the outside, This is unsanitary conditions plus guests let their dogs runloose and poop all over. Smoking is a problem as it sets fire alarms off in the middle of the night. There has been one suicide. Two weekends in a row garbage spread all over parking lot. Taxi drivers said Crossland has a reputation for prostitution. I was treated very, very rudely by the new manager, Julie, who know nothing about PR and is letting in trash. Why is the place being remolded when the foundation is cracking? The noise element is awful with two main roads, construction with the building next door and the two main roads. You need a security guard and two at the so called coincerge desk, because the phone is hardly ever answered at certain times.

  • We stayed at the location in Sharonville, OH, off on Chester Rd. It was the worst experience we have ever had. When we got there we almost stepped on a used condom that was by the office. The lady at the front desk and another worker was discussing non-sense that had to do with a complaint. In the meantime they made us wait until they finished. When we got in the room I was so disappointed that I didn't even pack, we just dropped our stuff off and went about our day. We came back at around 8:30PM and all we heard was loud annoying music, apparently they have a club right behind the hotel, which no one informed us about. I think this was important because some people do want sleep. We asked to be moved to another room the was further away so that the music wouldn't be so bothersome. Nope, the played games about it instead of being upfront. Needless to say we got our stuff and went somewhere else. Now we are waiting for the manage to call us back and apparently he's playing hide-n-seek because he's never there! What a manage should always be there at least at some point during a 24 hour period. This place has really gone down in the last five years and from what I was told, they use to be so much better. I guess the staff don't care because they probably make their sales from hook ups from people who leave the club. So, if you're their to relax and enjoy your stay, you may want to rethink staying at this location at all cost. The price is not worth it. In this case you definitely get what you pay for!!

  • CROSSLAND AR ADDISON HAD THREE COP CARS WITH LIGHTS BLAZING THIS MORNING DECEMBER 23,2016 AND ARRESTED A YOUNG BLACKMAN. THE POLICE WERE,ALSO, HERE MONDAY OF THIS WEEK. SATURDAY NIGHT MY NEIGHBOR WAS ROBBED WHILE SHE WAS AT WORK SOMETIME BETWEEN 10 AND 11PM LAST SATURDAY NIGHT. THE ROBBER CAME THROUGH HER WINDOW AND TOOK HER CLOTHES, MAKEUP, AND COMPUTER AND SCARED HER LITTLE DOG. THERE IS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WHICH SPILLS OUT ONTO THE PARKING LOT AND A ALOT, AND I MEAN ALOT OF DRUG DEALING PLEASE MAY YOU PLACE BETTER SECURITY AR NIGHT AND HACE THAT PERSON MAKE THE ROUNDS AT NIGHT. THIS PLACE IT SOO DANGEROUS.

  • I stay at crosslands studios in Spartanburg and I will be leaving tomorrow owing nothing. The manager the GM the she/he Carson is uneducated on experience unprofessional and doesn't need to be the GM. He gets high his girlfriend be behind the desk like she is running the place with him due to her all access pass because she is friends with Scott.They screwed Renee over. She may not have been right on somethings but from what I could tell from the short time she was here she didn't play. the only good thing about the place is the black girl on front desk and housekeeping and maintenance. and the undercover employees that does odd jobs for carson. I like the hotel just can't stand how it's being ran. So me and my husband and will be leaving. When you guys decide to get a person of one gender to run the place I will be back.

  • It's sad when U have outstanding employees the Stl location off chapel Ridge have very nice intelligent employees but the supplies suck an for $320 a week that's kinda hurtful U ask to have people carry them selfs at an appropriate manner while staying @ the hotel but U can't get any clean towels an No tissue Now that's said an not sanitary at all.Only at check in if U stay one are two are more weeks U responsible for ur own towels an buy ur own tissue. Smh that's crazy I understand if people live there they suppose to clean an take care of they space but I feel this hotel is getting ova if I pay u every week I should receive fresh linen fresh towels an a roll of tissue for $320 a week but I was just told I get one roll for My entire stay like so wipe my self with the comforter O My Bad I Don't get one. I don't like putting people down either this my 3 week paying them I thought it was gonna get better but Ummmmmm it's sad tissue.like I'm ready to call Hotel inspectors like on TV I stayed here before 4 yes ago I didn't like supervisor cause she treated ppl wrong but the hotel was way much cleaner an it's not to supervisor fault that's here now because she ran it for her mean supervisor it's the Owners Ur taking our money an running a horrible hotel bad part is u can make so much more money if U put in a little this is a great location but if u don't put the tlc in ur hotel it will fall. An it's falling but u do have a chance give supplies to ppl tissue U don't want ppl wiping shi× on the walls pee on the floor. Don't think u do so it's unsanitary not to give tissue. Like at least once a week if they paying $320/$365 a WEEK! MY GOD BLESS THE BUSINESS

  • Im staying at Crosslands in Lakewood,Co 715 Kipling And I just witness the front desk employee, name tag Jen Smoking what I thought at first was a rolled cigarette but when I went to get my key,I could smell the pot, Now I know its legal in Colorado but I didnt know you let your employees smoke it while working, I stood in the office a good 15 mins before she decided to help me, On top of being high she acted like it was a bother to help me. We will be checking out tomorrow and wont be back

  • Crosslands Irving, TX- I am very confused with the management care lately around here. My husband and I have lived here since March 2016, and ever since the promise of a 'renovation' crew that was to arrive here in August, that NEVER happened, management hasn't been very helpful. We had one of the employees, Picard, open our door at 10:24 p.m., 1) w/o knocking, 2) checking for those non payers. (at this late of time ARE YOU KIDDING ME?) My husband and I were resting after a very long day at our jobs. He also charged my mother-in-law's card w/o asking first and I had to have that reversed only to not cause a problem in her house with her husband, my father-in-law. He never checked to see that I had just paid 3 days prior before I was getting paid that late evening so I could pay because I am a medical worker and they use ADP. I've never had this problem before and they have always understood how I do what I have to do. Also there was a count of at least two dozen young adults standing and talking on the third floor all night and there were a few on the bottom level YELLING VERY LOUDLY and this went on from 9 pm to 3 am and we saw nothing of a front desk manager trying to take care of this situation. There were times my husband and I actually had a hard time sleeping.
    We have been very good customers during our stay here and there are other patrons who are complaining of break ins on their rooms as well while their mother was asleep. No one knows what's going on.
    One more complaint: NO ONE PATRON THAT IS STAYING OVER HERE HAS HOT/WARM WATER TO TAKE THEIR SHOWERS IN. IT'S SO COLD I KNOW I CAME OUT OF THE SHOWER FREEZING….AND WE ARE NOW COUNTING 3 DAYS OF THIS.
    Like I have said, I don't know why management isn't doing their job or if they are doing it all. OJ was with some young girl all day yesterday escorting her around the premises and not sure that was really his job at that moment. There are numerous burned out lights hanging in the walkways, fire alarms ripped out of exterior wall, we don't understand why there isn't a machine for ice and why the laundry room feels like a hot sauna every time we just walk in. The air conditioning isn't working in there at all. I have worked in hotels before but never had all these issues in just one hotel, maybe one or two, if any?
    We ask for something to be done around here. There is no excuse for selfish management and there not being any repercussions…
    I expect there to better for the amount of money we do pay EVERY two weeks just to stay here.

  • Today I visited the cross land in Tucson Az and had a terrible experience. I am currently 9 months pregnant im due in two weeks and this whole experience has me in so much pain from the stress of dealing with this horrible manager. I am cramping really bad trying to rest up to not have my son here away from home. So We booked out room through hotels.com a week in advance then called in to ask about our reservation yesterday so that everything was set for today when we checked in. The person at the front desk confirmed the reservation and said we were good to go. Well today around 6 we went to check in to our hotel room and the receptionist said they had no rooms available when we had already paid and confirmed. Well the manager come out and in a very rude manner saying he didnt have any rooms available for us. We explained to him we had already paid and he continued to tell us he had no rooms and our reservations wasnt made with them so ge couldnt do anything about it. When we asked why he couldnt fix our issue he said that the 3rd party booking site makes room reservations for rooms they do not have available. Instead of being understanding and nice he was completely rude and disgusting from the moment he spoke to us. He asked us to leave because there was nothing he could do for us.we were left without a hotel because of their lack of communications with the 3rd party site. I traveled from Phoenix and had no other optio. We were not the only people they did this to another family with 5 children were told that they had a room available from them just minutes before so they canceled the reservation they had to be left with out a place to stay as well. I do not recommend this hotel what so ever. The manager was so unprofessional and left his receptionist to apologize for his actions he left to the back and she was there to deal with this issue by her self.

  • We stayed here at crosslands on
    dunlap ave in glendale az.and are very disappointed.We are so unhappy with not only the quality of service we recieved from the front desk but also the condition of our room.the linen on the bed was dirty and staind and one stain even looked like blood.the toilet kept getting clogged.when we notified the front desk,they told us they didnt have a plunger and we would have to buy one.Our phone in the room was broken.and we had so many bugs in our room.the room was so dirty we had to buy a vaccum.the toilet had water rings in it from being uncleaned.the bathroom faucet had leaks.the toilet paper holder was broken and hanging from one screw.the smoke detector did not work.the carpet was disgusting and had a bad odor.the kitchen cabnits had trash and cigarette ashes in them..this had to be one of the worst places i have stayed.please reply to this as soon as possible.i have alot of friends the come in from out town that stay at weeklys and i will let all of them know what kind of service i have received..

  • I'm very unhappy, I made a reservation for a king suit 5days prior to my stay and PAID and upon my arrival they told me they do not have the room I reserved and tried giving us a queen witch is not what I reserved. Then I had to run back and forth 3x because my key did not work from running back and forth our car key got locked in our car so then we had to pay a locksmith, after all that we just asked for a refund and went to a new hotel where our card was denied because we now had to wait 3-5 business days to get our money back and had no where to go with our baby. I've tried contacted corporate and I've had no response. Im very unhappy and feel like they should fix this and make up for what had happened. I will not ever suggest this place to anyone

  • I was in Nashville, TN at the crossland by the airport on Murfreesboro Rd. The place was dirty, stairs were full of trash and trash cans overflowing. Got to my room and no comforter, no TV, no towels, etc. The room was supposed to be getting remodeled but the lady at the desk did not know this and place me in the room so when I came back down to explain my issues, they placed me in another room but had to wait for the housekeeping to clean it! Then they never cleaned the room the 4 days I was there and when I called for new towels, I was told I had to come and get them later because none were cleaned yet? ??????? (crickets) So I called Headquarters and was told they no longer own crossland suites so she gave me a number to call and it went straight to voice mail.. go figure! I want a refund or half back! Not a happy camper!

  • They must have that requirement to work here..rude!! While I don't see any pot smoking from the management or ftont desk people, maybe if they did they wpuld be nice and smile once in a while. Whats up with these miserable people? Why won't corporate answer us? And whats up with the trash they are renting to? I am here for a long time too. Rhis is just wrong.

  • The manager at crossland houston northwest is arrogant, disrespectful and unprofessional. My car was stolen from the Parking lot with my wallet inside so I was unable to pay to stay another night and had to find somebody with a vehicle to get my belongings. I was told that I had till the end of the night. When I show up the manager comes out looks at me, sucks her teeth & tells me I'm not getting anything until I pay her to allow me to do so. First she tells me that I need to pay the 25$ late fee. And I explained that my wallet was stolen with my car she said that wasn't her problem and that every day she has to hold my stuff I will have to pay the $53 daily rate for them to store it. Now today (the next day due to the fact that i didn't have the money) I call begging her to allow me to get my belongings that everything I own clothes, toiletries was in that room. She tells me it's hotel policy and not to contact the hotel again until I have her money. That every day she will add 53$ up to 30 days when my belongings are thrown in the trash.

  • The hotel in Memphis is not professional at all. Their manager has a very nasty attitude. She talk smart and gets out of line all the time. I have heard her get nasty with the employees just for calling to ask a simple question for a guest. She is very unprofessional to buffer a GM. Someone should he'll her with bring more professional

  • I have to beg to get my room cleaned. I basically live here. They always put the lowest forms of life right next to me. People constantly slam their doors all hours of the night. Prostitues getting visitors is why. What is the supposed new management doing to remedy this??? Not a damn thing. The rates are not worth this disgusting place. The only nice people here is Carlos and maintenance man Frank. I have never been late on rent. I expect to be trwated right.

  • Crossland in Irving Texas likes to steal off people. I was told we were paid up until Christmas Eve. Lie…they claim there is a balance now that is owed. They are even dipping into my account UNAUTHORIZED. Took the money for my heart medication. I also hear from an Employee that Crossland is doing this to a lot of people here. They just took over this property earlier this month. Crossland if you want people to leave and never come back all you have to do is tell them. There is no reason to run them through the ringer and steal from them. Thanks a lot for being the worst Take Over Company with the Worst Management.

    • This is something that has happened a lot and I put and end to it in the Springfield, Oregon crossland I took them to court and won! You have rights, everyone staying one of these longer than 30 days has the same rights as a tenant in an apt complex, put your foot down and don't allow these things to happen.

  • The crossland location in Norcross, Ga is even worse. Lazy, unprofessional, ignorant, indifferent, obnoxious management. It is inconceivable that any company can have these type of people run there business and maintain any true success. The management encourages laziest in there limited staff and I mean limited in mentality and numbers. The property is dirty, dated, diseased and dingy. As the old adage goes "Pay your employees peanuts you will have monkeys running the show".

  • My boss and I came into the hotel the day prior to my stay to sign third party paperwork so he would not have to fax it from work the following day. When I arrived the hotel clerk Jazzmine looked up the reservation name and immediately said no we will not do this. She refused to look for the nights prior paperwork not even attempting to get up from her seat. My boss was forced to submit the paperwork again for his office. Jazzmine informed us all our sensitive information such as credit cards and drivers license were submitted to the laundry attendant, as they have no real staff on duty overnight. Another employee came in and after jazzmine left asked me what the problem was I quickly explained the situations and as Im speaking the second set of paperworks is coming over the fax machine. Zack takes less the 30 seconds to find the original paperwork and handles it from there. Now mind you they've put us in a room with children above us. As such the 4 day stay was never free of constant pounding on the ceiling. When I attempted to call the office I was told by joy that no more free days would be given. (Zack gave us a free nights stay due to the check treatment we received) I wasn't attempting to get anything for free just a polite phone call reminding the people above that they were quite loud. Joy informed me that she didn't like the things I said about her co worker such as she was to lazy to get up from her seat to check for the paperwork that was indeed right where it was suppose to be. I let Joy know that she was not involved and didn't know what was said. THIS PLACE IS IN DESPARATE NEED OF A MANAGER. The only decent help they have are Gabby and Zack. The rest of the entire staff were rude and discourteous.
