  • I went to DD's in Yves Dairy I spent almost $500 the store manager try to get ne Arrested instead for something they charge ne twice she try to fight with me and called the police. My community is the largest in this area we 1 minute from I am going to make sure I send a warning to our residents portal let know that about this store and NEVER SHOPPING AT DD'S DISCOUNTS AGAIN!

    I ask one of the lady was she kin to put it on the floor she told me no these are mine I ask to talk to a manager and this lady told me her name was shawonda she said that they can shop for the back of the store if I didn't like it find me another shop to shop it

  • BUYER BEWARE: As of June 1st, 2018, DD's issues a store credit for all returns. They need to train ALL employees to state the return policy (especially since it is new) and have a sign in front of the cashier, stating the change-not on a sign as you walk in. I wish I had known prior to my purchase last night. I went into the store 20 minutes before closing. I found some clothes and a canister set but I did not have time to try the items on. I bought the canister set hoping that it would work in my kitchen, and purchased the clothes thinking I could try them on at home, return what didn't fit and get my money back. Unfortunately, I found out they only give store credit which is a square card stock piece of paper with a handwritten amount at the top. It looks like something anyone can recreate. I was in shock not to mention angry I couldn't get my money back. As I'm writing, I don't know if there is an expiration date on the credit. I didn't ask, because I didn't think of it and NO ONE volunteered the information -just like they didn't volunteer the information about the change in the return policy at the time of purchase. I always liked going into DD's. Even though I did spend a ton of money, this has left a sour taste in my mouth. Now I will only go in if I know what I need to buy, have time to try on items and closely examine a product. I'm so disappointed and upset I probably will rarely shop there once I use my credit.

  • Don't shop at DD's in Manteca, CA. Rude/nasty people working there. They lost out on at least a $300.00 sale from me. Will never set foot in one again. And, they do not have bathrooms for their customers to use, Really!

They wont put a Ross there because the breed of people targeted for dds discount are low income and uneducated people hints why they dont have public restrooms they think we soooooo broke we'll steal thier 3.99 shirt and soooo dumb will piss on the floor.     I made a purchase at Store 5069 and tried to return it 29 mins after I walked out of the store. The manager Celeste was rude and told me she would not refund my money because the item was an as is purchase. I advised her that there were no signs or anything to state that the purchase was as is and could not be returned. I advised that her policy on the back of the receipt states that I have 30 days to return an unused item. Stated I a tone close to a yell that she was not going to return my money. I asked her who she was talking to like that and don't raise her voice at me. she told me to leave the store. I informed her that I was not leaving until I got my money and that I needed the corporate number. She refused several times to provide me with the corporate number. She contacted the police and when the officer came I explained the situation to him and he asked Celeste did she have the corporate information. She also stated to the officer she did not have the information for the number nor the address. I am extremely upset of how I was treated my this company and the associates. I want my money back and I will be contacting the BBB.

  • I went to dd discount during the no tax weekend, in rosemount orlando and they were charging people taxes, they charge me tax on school bag, this suppose to be a no tax weekend on school supplies. they were charging people taxes and blaming the computer, shame on dd

  • Do something about the DDs on Lake June in Dallas. There's no reason to go there anymore. No household items, same pictures been there forever. The handbags have a cheap appearance and look horrible. Send some new and better quality of merchandise to this store.

  • Teach managers on up how to read and understand the English language. My husband and I submitted an entry for the Mother's Day raffle. The rules posted online and on the flyer received in the mail states, "One per person per household". My husband's name was drawn in the raffle. My kids and I were excited, because my husband wanted me to possibly get a gift card for Mother's Day. A few minutes after he went to receive his gift card, the manager told him he was disqualified because there was another entry for the same address (that was the one I had put in the box). He told her the rules stated, "One per person per household". She was rude to him and said, "No. It's one per household". If the rules are supposed to be "One per household", that is what should be published in the official rules and regulations list. "One per person per household" does not mean, "One per household". The manager, Laquinta, at the store located at 13128 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77014, is rude, inconsiderate, and not at all customer oriented. I asked her for corporate's phone number, and she gave me a wrong number. Go figure.

  • I know customer service Ive known it for 4 years my sister for 3 and mother for 18 years. We know how to treat customers you never argue, the customer is always right wheather you like it or not. The way I was treated today has no excuse, I was treated like a thief my children were talked to in a rude manner for touching something, they were looked at with a hateful gesture by a fitting room employee and the cashier trying to insult my husband for looking at what our children were looking at. Management needs to change, and heres the thing the customer is always right sink it in. If you dont like the job dont work there look for something else stop getting at small children and people that can knock the sh** out of rude people.

  • I was shopping and my kids needed to use the restrooms and i asked a lady nicely if there was restrooms and she said no we donthave public restrooms.what kind of store doesnt have public restrooms?! Especially if the stores that big.   • I am an associate at DD's in Arlington tx off cooper. I have been working hard for this place I am always on time I don't call in I go in sick and still work hard and no appreciation. The store manager is unfair and has their favorite's. I'm here to support my family. But I think its time to move on.. two weeks notice is on its way I cant deal with disrespect anymore.

  • This is a complaint about DDS in Anaheim ca. I went in one night with my husband and 6 year old son. I would always shop DDs. But I havent walkedin to a DDs since oct. And I would never tell any one to go again. We were shopping. My husband and ny son were on the toy side and I was in the clothing side. Well I guess the security from there was following my husband and son. We bought what we wanted . As we were walking out of DDs there was a security guy in a car with his cell phone and he took a picture of us. I was so mad. My husband turn and ask the security guy from DDs why did some one just take a picture of us especially with my 6 year old son. He said he called for back up. My husband told him why we bought what we came for. The security turned and told my husband I'll check the cameras. We told him go ahead. I told the security guy from DDs he had no right to take a picture of my 6 year old son. There are so many perverts out on three world I didn't need some randome guy havi ng a photo of my son. So when I called the manager at that store the next day. She try to lie and said they didnt have the number to the security that watches the outside. I told her the DDs had admitted he called the guy. She blew me off. So I called the DM of DDs and some one was suppose to call me back and they never did. And I will never walk in to a DDs again. And now some random person has a photo of my son in his cell phone because of DDs. Never again. I need spme answers and I want to make sure my sons photo was deleted….

  • I am a current temporary associate at a dds and for the past two schedule cycles I have literally been scheduled for zero hours…this is how I pay my bills and buy food…the manager does not like me so I can't talk to them about it because I am afraid I would get fired

  • Well I just posted a comment, and it was not a good one then I went back and read everyone else's comments. Seems like across the board Dd's is pretty screwed up. Well, I have been in thrift stores that are better kept. Seems like the company doesn't care what the public thinks, and with all these stores not doing well in the customer service area, how can they possibly stay in business. I would hope a better system would be put in place to hire and train managers. There are a lot of people looking for jobs.. you don't need to hire the bottom feeders. I have a BS in Business, masters in Ed leadership and a California teaching credential, if you need someone to train your managers. :0)

    I am a teacher in the public school system and was looking for a part time job this summer. I was very excited to see a DD's was coming to Perris. I did TRY to put an application online so I could get in on the ground floor and possibly work my way up, but I do not think my application went through. Now I am happy it didn't go through. I have visited that store in Perris twice and I am totally shocked as to how disgusting the entire store is. Dirty, stuff all over the floor, shelves un-kept, I do not think I will ever shop in that store again. I am not sure if the store is understaffed or if the staff is just lazy. But the manager should be fired based on the condition of a brand new store.

  • DDS discount in Arlington on Cooper is horrible. The GM is rude and disrespectful, the staff was friendly but the management is unprofessional and needs to be replaced. I guest this is the type of employees hire because the complaints are mutual.

  • Cashiers very rude ,they call out I can help who's next in line even before I can get my money or card back in my wallet, I understand it's a business but come on,

    • The reason they do that is because it is required of them to call the next guest after scanning the last item. The same reason behind why Dds cashiers will tell you to grab your own receipt. We are trained to do so. If we do not and the weekly score we receive reflects that, we will get a warning or even a coaching. It's not to be rude but to provide a "fast and easy" checkout. If it wasn't a rule, trust me, none of the cashiers would do it. Us cashiers get yelled at by customers every day by doing things our store requires us to do. Next time you shop at a discount store like Dds, please keep that in mind. If anything makes you feel uncomfortable, ask to speak with a manager or talk to the store protection. A respectable store will help you out or clarify if need be.

  • My daughter in law n I shop in dds in Portland Oregon we found staff to be not only rude but appears to have had no customer service professional at all I don't understand why would a store have customers taking their own receipts off a register seems that would be a safety issue for a welcome invitation for some but to rob them that's just dim whoever thought of that and it appears their so worry about some shop lifting that they lose their focus on giving their customer the proper curiosity the customers deserve no left a very bad taste in my and my daughter in law mouth we will not be going back or refer that store to anyone almost they make you feel like a criminal instead of a customer corp where are you to follow up to improve your staff customer service no that's a store I've taking off my list no more

  • I currently work as a seasonal temp for a DD's in Sacramento, CA. I feel as if the managers are extremely prejudice and unprofessional.
    -One manager in particular comes after me for things that I cannot do because of my position and her lack of training me. I received minimal training until almost 2 months in.
    -The same manager comes after me for my body modifications : I have a piercing that I hide during working, and a tattoo that is always covered. But whenever either are showing just the tiniest bit, I'm threatened with write-ups or being sent home early.. While others that are of the same ethnicity, can walk around freely with lip piercings, full chest pieces/sleeves (tattoos), and clearly violate the dress code (ex. belly showing, breasts overly-exposed, tight fitted pants/jeans instead of slacks)
    -Another manager became upset with me because I came down with food poisoning, and gave me a write up for calling in 8 hours before my shift. But others can call in even an hour before hand and just get a "I better see a doctors note." Furthermore, when I explained that I did not have insurance or money to go see a doctor (seeing as I'm only making $150 for every 2 weeks..), I was scorned all the more.
    I cannot wait for this trial to be done and over with.

  • The dds In Orlando on colonial had terrible service . The workers are slow as molasses! You see all workers walking around and one cashier moving like a 95 year old woman . Clothes never organized. It's a shame I like this store but the service is disgusting and terrible . Corporate really needs to evaluate and take over abd fix the service . Hire nee people .

  • This store just opened in Hallandale Beach FL, and honestly EVERYONE here should be fired! from the very beginning when you enter the door there's a guy there that doesn't even greet people! cashiers are SUPER SLOW like OMG, its like they have never worked anywhere before. this place is so ghetto is not even funny. They let people skip the line like its nothing like seriously after standing here waiting for 30 minutes now you let someone skip, what is this your friend!? this store is a disgrace to Ross stores. Just unbelievable! hire people who actually want to work and have customer service etiquette!! Please and Thank you will take you a long way..

  • Listen to me and spend your money in a dds that is not in Stockton, CA. I usually spend my whole paycheck if not more at this dds but geez after the humiliation I got today I sure will not. Not only was the cashier rude but she was dumber than a lamp post. She would not give me my money back in cash for a purchase that clearly showed I paid in cash and made me wait 25 minutes to verify I bought an item just because THEY marked the item with the wrong price tag. How rude and inconsiderate can one store get?! I know you sell everything for cheap but at least check up on stores on a basis of who they are hiring. If they're attitude continues, you will end up loosing a whole lot more customers and money than just me!

  • Just left a dds tonight after spending almost $70.00 to have the Lp at the door tell me that there was a trash can outside so I said what for and he said for my trash and I told him the trash was already there so I ended calling to complain to the mgr about the embarrasment I felt in front of all the customers and I told them where I work that would be just rude and unprofessional and not proper customer service and all she could tell me was that her company and my company were to different companies well duh but thats still rude and she said I could call back tomorrow a try to talk to another mgr

  • DD's should look into their managers. My friend worked at the DDs in Albuquerque and she said the Manager doesn't know how to manage people. the store is always a mess and they are under staffed. The manager breaks policy and hides products and built up racks of clothes in the back room until she knows her bosses are coming then she will put them out so it looks like they are actually doing what they are supposed to. Also she (the Manager) will schedule fewer people to work than the company policy dictates, when her district managers show up and ask where (for example) the cashier is, she lies and tells him they called in. She also talks to people like they are beneth her and will not have an actual conversation with her employees. Too much more to list.

Until I hurt myself and no one help me except a lady in the store was kind enought to stay and help call 911 they where having lunch so no one who work there came to assit ashame.   • I went to dds off of broadway. nd centerville ing garland tx had my 2 kids with me . We were shopping for a toy and as my younger son walked over to look at the toys. The manager at the toy section. Told my child" go back with your mom. U stupid kid" ! Then tried to tell me how to discipline. My children! !!! These people need to be fired not working customer service! ! She was very disrespectful. .. wen i was with my children. I guess she thought. They wernt my kids. But i hope she gets fired!!!

  • i shoped at dds in tamarac florida today. the cashier name JANICE was very rude and insulting to me today. my total was 19 and the screen showed 23. which she forgot to show all my items in the list.when i mentioned to her, she handed me the calculator and started laughing.they are not professionals and no customer service at all. when i told her that she made me look stupid she said to call corporate.

  • I called to inquire about a antenna, brandy said that they alway sell them. I advised her gas was over $4.00 a gallon…can she check to see if they were in stock..she told me she was sitting and all the cashiers were busy…I told her that i would call corp…when i attempted to contact corp…receptionist was very patronizing .transferred me over to customer service.where got a voice mail…we need to boycott all of ross's stores…not only this one…you dont speak to a customer like this. they should happy to have a job.and with out the customer what job would they have

  • I worked at DDs for a few days, its makes no sense how this place is runned! One person is in charge of 3/4 of the store, yet supposed to always stay in the fitting room. They yell at you at the end of the night when you are cleaning, I understand telling people to hurry or stay on task, but I dont tolerate being yelled at like that, and the pay is sure not worth that! Obviously they need more people or a better plan of action. I quit 2 days later (2 months ago) and have STILL NEVER BEEN PAID!! I am outraged!! I have contacted Corporate and hope they retify this situation!

  • I work at a DD's in Albuquerque New Mexico, brand new store and the WORST managers I have ever worked with, they hire their family and are completely unprofessional. I have complained to the corporate office and nothing is ever done. If I didn't need this job I would quit.

  • How can you "DD Discounts" run a large store with all kinds of customers some with children,infants,old people,disabled people and NOT even have a Public Restroom for your customers.
    This is unheard of. Why should anyone shop in your store when we can shop elsewhere with facilities. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

    • Because the customers be leaving the restroom dirty they act like they have no sense at all. Leaving them restrooms nasty acting like dam animals come on Mrs facility. Lol

    • I worked at a DD's where we did have open facilities for customers. They still chose to leave everything filthy & when the associates were on break or lunch, we couldn't even use our own restrooms because of everyone else in line.

      I also have worked at 2 DD's since then that have had closed restrooms. The customers can sometimes be rude about not being able to use facilities and we have had an incident once that I'm aware of that in the fitting room we found urine on the floor.

  • I was in DD's for an exchange and for the mean while I was waiting in line I realized on my receipt that I have been charged for the exactly same item twice, so I showed the manager on duty 'Millie", and she said she had to check the camera, 2mins later she cames back and said I bought 2 of the exactly same thing, so I kindly asked to see the camera, and she just said no, so then I asked to see teh receipt and what else they had charged for, so as I go on with the reecipt, I kindly asked the manager, what was this item that was at the receipt, she looks at me with this nasty, rude attitude and Said " I don't know you were who bought all this stuff not me", after that attitude I told her never mind, just things everything back and I am going to call corporate, rapidily she changed her tone, adn said, no I can help. Me as a store manager of BCBG MAX AZRIA would never speak with a customer like that. No matter how getto is the store you must keep professional

  • I was in the DD's in Stockton,ca and was told im not allowed to bring in my infants bottle, wth is this a coorprate thing. I will never shop there again.

    • What Dd's Managers should know that it is against the law to edit a time card so that they don't get more than 8 hours in a shift. That Manager should be fired and or counseled against that. A little education to the manager please; Employers found liable may be required to pay damages, including back pay, attorney fees and civil or criminal penalties under both federal and state laws.

  • If i was the manager of this store I would fire myself. 21369 n.w. 2nd ave. How can all the staff go to lunch at one time. This is my 3rd time I have went into this store and ended up leaving pissed. Unprofessional, slow,ghetto, just plain horrible. They move like they are at home fold the laundry or something. the never smile. No one is ever availble to help you if you need it. that includes the ross next door.The only help I could get was the security guard. This is the 3rd time I have been there. fire all of them.     • New topic: I am writing because there should be a public outcry at the merchandise DD's is selling to the public. I found numerous t-shirts that showed guns and weapons on the shirts. How can a store that is the B store of Ross not have the same type of quality control as the parent store. Ross should be more involved in the message they are promoting. Or, has Ross and DD's accumulated demographics which show that some of their stores are in locations which could have a low income standing and they don't care how their merchandise is promoting violence to kids and adults who don't have a clue. This will probably be followed up by a larger consumer protection group.

    • DD's have the worst customer service I ever had. Their cashiers lack of common sense and they don't even give the receipt to you. They let you pick up the receipt from the little printer. When you show your id for a credit card payment they ask you to slide the card, when you try to use the card they ask you to show your id and the credit card….well their prices are low but not having a good customer service really stink.
