  • Well I just found out last night which was December 16, 2016 that 4 to 5 yrs ago that someone at the Carlisle location removed my TPMS sensors from my rims on my 06 Toyota Highlander when I was in there and bought 4 Firestone Destination Le2 tires to replace my Old Bridgestone Duelers! Not one time had anyone said anything about breaking or damaging them! For the longest time I thought they went bad because my tire pressure would be low but no light! Then last night I had my cousin mount and Balance my new tires I bought and he says to me where's your sensors I said what do you mean he said when your Carlisle Location Put the Firestones that they removed them and they shouldn't have, so low and behold I called in to the Carlisle store and was spoke to like I was an idiot and was told that it runs off of ABS, which I know it doesn't and was told that I would have to speak to a Jeff which is the manager! So this morning I had an appointment to get an alignment on my new tires and I asked to speak to Jeff and he too gave me a run around about they work off of ABS and why am I bringing this up after Four years well I'm sorry but they worked before I bought the firestones and know I found out they took them off how would I have known unless I was in the garage when they mounted them or if I would have taken the tires off the rims myself! So that being said come Monday I'm contacting an Attorney!! Because I'm not paying for them to be replaced when I wasn't the one who removed them in the first place!!!!

  • I am disappointed by brake service I paid for at Expert Tire in Carlisle, PA. Soon after Expert Tire replaced my old brakes (which were not problematic), my new brakes began seizing up, screeching and grinding. I took my car back at least 4 times to Carlisle Expert Tire, each time, the attendants told me there was "nothing wrong" They also made me wait an inordinate amount of time (once, 5 hours) and my hazard lights came on because they didn't put back an engine mount properly. My brother suggested that Expert may have failed to pack the brakes with grease, thereby causing the rotors to grind. My brakes mean the difference between safe and extremely unsafe automotive conditions. I request a return of the monies paid to Expert Tire so that I may go to a competant dealer to replace my brakes. I will send a hard copy of my comment. You may refund me at:
