Fitness 19, my wife sighed up for that gym and the told and she paid for first and last month payment and also paid for the trainers. paid a total of 155.00 and now i get a text saying that i have to pay an annual fee of 29.99 and that was never mention to me or my wife, about the annual fee, I call the the person and told that you never mention this to me and he said he did and send us the a copy of the agrement and now that person that sighned my wife is the manager and he never mention that either, i don't want to pay him or them another dime. if there is anyone out there who is taking a class action please contact me @ hondas2000yr97@yahoo.com i like to get in at that. i was there and also the person that was sighning my wife up didn't give us a hard copy
I live in Murrieta California. YourFitness 19 in Wildomar has 5 Stairmasters and only 1 actually works. The other 4 don't speed up above a certain level. Their excuse is that parts to service the starmasters are all on back order. That was about 3 months ago. Their Spin bike has been shot for the past two months. Translation this location care less because your corporate office could care less. I work for the CEO of one of the largest regional banks in this country. I have had it with your loactaions lack of care for their equipment and refusing to hear complaints about their equipment needing fixing. If I don't see a change in this location I will inform Joel Grover the Investigative Reporter for NBS News in Southern California to investigate your company. I will do it and you have just one week before I notiy NBC and Grover. If you doubt what I share then your location will have a visit from the NBC cameras very quickly. I suggest your CEO read this with the 82 other compliants and believe me Mr. Grover will.
I CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP YESTERDAY COZ THE MANAGER REMOVED THE ONLY BEST INSTRUCTOR IN THERE. MARCO ANTHONY'S RIPPED CLASS IS ALWAYS PACKED WITH PEOPLE IN ALL LEVELS. IN FACT THERE ARE MEMBERS REQUESTING EXTENDED HOURS OR MORE CLASSES COZ HE JUST GIVES SO MUCH ENERGY TO CLASS AND MOTIVATES EACH ONE OF US TO GET THE MOST OF THE WORKOUT. HE IS NOT ONLY AN INSTRUCTOR, HE CARES FOR ALL THE MEMBERS AND TALKS ABOUT GETTING FIT AND LIVING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. WHY REMOVE HIM AND REPLACE WITH A NEW INSTRUCTOR WHO IS NOT EVEN CERTIFIED TO DO RIPPED CLASSES??? THIS IS SO WRONG! THAT MANAGER HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT I STAYED COZ I LOVE MARCO'S CLASSES. NOW THERE IS NO POINT OF STAYING AND I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO CANCELLED MEMBERSHIPS. THERE WILL BE MORE TO COME! THAT MANAGER SHOULD BE REMOVED NOT MARCO!!!
LAST YEAR… I CALLED Buena Park AND PHYSICALLY went to MIRA LOMA FITNESS 19 to cancel my membership. I had advised someone at the Buena Park location that I had moved to be Caregiver to my parents in Perris and I needed to cancel and that I had switched to the Mira Loma location. I was advised by a young lady at Mira Loma that I was no longer in the system and because of the call I had made, they probably cancelled it. I am living off my Discover card (and part time job) so I have not been paying attention to my statements. UNFORTUNATELY, I found out this morning that they have been billing me all this time, the monthly charge has gone up and the only way I can cancel is to physically go in or send a certified letter ??? REALLY!! WOW. It's also amazing how I received an email telling me my payment didnt go through and the guy verified my email address, AFTER I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH THE BUENA PARK location… PLEASE forward this information to a manager, I am thoroughly upset with this place.
Fitness 19 located at 16000 Steubner Airline Drive, Spring TX 77379 closed down after experiencing flooding.Even though all other businesses in that plaza reopened, Fitness 19 didn't. Apparently they released all of their member contact information and auto pay details to another Gym Fitness Connection located in the same Zip Code.
They did not have any member authorization to release sensitive bank and card information.
They also charged my card forr May 2016 and June 2016, even though was CLOSED.
If we choose to join Fitness Connection, we will apparently be chby them exactly what we were paying per month to Fitness 19. But if we choose not to join, then there is NO ONE whom we can contact or who will speak to us to cancel our membership and get a refund.
Can Fitness 19 really release bank information without notifying their members?
It seems an illegal thing to do.
I just want to say that Fitness 19 is a joke. Don't sign up for training cause it's a waste of time and money. There is a trainer who doesn't care about you and just your money that he cares about. Plus he won't show up for the appointments that he schedules. Baltimore Maryland location. BEWARE!!!!!
I go to the mission viejo location. When I joined it was clean, now it filthy and smells like a football locker room. You can write you name on the dust on most of the equipment and the tread mills are gross. If it's not cleaned up soon my family will be leaving
I called to talk to someone about maybe reopening my account get back to the gym, well I went and did it, they asked if I wanted to add someone, I said I had to find out if my son wanted to join, he asked his name etc. he said if he didn't want to join I can always take him off there, he asked me about my banking and address info etc. well I never went to them and talked this was all done over the phone, I never resigned paper's etc. never got my membership card etc. well it was awhile and I noticed they was taking money out of my account already and I never went and signed NOTHING, I have NO membership key card to scan to sign in NOTHING and they are taking money out and also my son didn't want to join so I called to take care of all this and ask why was all this money being taking out when my son doesn't want to join and I haven't been in there to sign nothing I want to cancel my membership I want to STOP THIS, well I CAN'T get NO money back for my son cause I was NOT told that I had to cancel him in 3 day's to get my money back and I also was told that I CAN'T cancel my membership over the phone cause how do they know who they are talking to, I have to go inside the place to CANCEL my account BUT YET they CAN take all my information over the PHONE get me RESIGNED back up and trust me that I was who I was when they was talking to me, huh without me being there in person resigning up how do they know that it was ME and NOT Joe Smoe Down The Road? BUT yet I HAVE to GO to them to CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP what kind of BS is this? Stay away from here, Stay far away, I had a membership, went a couple of times over several months and could not work out due to a serious illness, I was paid up to date, I went down to put my membership on hold and was told they couldn't do that, So I cancelled my membership. I was then billed for an additional month, of $15 dollars Fitness 19 personnel told me I quit too late, Fitness 19 personnel called me several times harassing me about this $15 dollars and that they were billing me for the next month, even though I was physically unable to work out. I told them I was not paying for a month after I quit, They then sold this $15 bill to a credit collection company and added late charges, now remember this is for a month after I quit the Fitness 19 gym due to a severe illness not from when I was a member, now I am fighting this with their collection company and disputing collection because I would not let them bilk me for no reason other than thier nickle and dime greed It was never about the $15 dollars, it was more about what is right and what is wrong so if you want to deal with this join them
I feel your frustration. I was just charged a yearly membership fee plus my monthly fee all in one swoop causing an overdraft on my account. Went to speak to the manager Andrew in Gardena and told him I wanted to quit he then told me he couldn't give me my money back plus they were STILL going to charge me another $20 next month. Remember this is going to happen AFTER I quit. On top of that, when I mention I was quiting he says "that sounds great" Im done with this money hungry gym. I can get a good workout at home
Stop payment on the card, only way to get these guys to stop charging me after i sent a letter to cancel with. Proceeded to filed a claim at the county DA.. EVERYONE NEEDS TO FILE A FRAUD CLAIM WITH THE LOCAL DA'S OFFICE.
