  • I do not recommend Kimbrell's Furniture in Goose Creek.

    Here is my story:

    Bought a bookcase/sideboard off the floor from the Kimbrell store in Goose Creek, South Carolina, and had it delivered. They delivered the WRONG bookcase……THE OLD BAIT AND SWITCH. I went to the store and was told that the item I chose, with my name and sold tag on it, was sold to someone else. The manager, Joe Luongo, only offered to return my money and was a real “A” hole; he did not offer to order another bookcase or reduce the price on a similar piece. Yes, a shouting match ensued which shocked me. I will NEVER GO TO or RECOMMEND KIMBRELL'S for as long as I live. This JOE guy is not about customer service.

  • Hi, acutually this is my second chance I've recently had an incident where the customer service wasn't up to my expectations. I've encountered each time with Mike, the manager at the Florence, SC office. The first time I asked Mike about buying some barstools for my mom as a Christmas gift. I saw one barstool in the store and asked can he get a second one for me. I'ts like he didn't want to put for the effort to go the extra mile for his customers. I've been a customer for years. The first time I bought a bedroom suit, which I paid cash for and the second purchase was a living room suit. I recently closed my acoount because I don't feel like I should keep purchasing anything else from this company with this bad customer service; however, I am still paying my monthly payment as promised. To make a long story short, I ended up getting the barstools from Ashley furniture, who I now have an account with. Just recently I asked Mike about the warranty I have on my bedroom suit. He said that he didn't have a record of when I bought it, knowing he's the one that got the sale. The headboard starting pealing and I even sent pictures. He then text me back and said it can be fixed and I asked who is going to fix it and I got not response. What's the purpose of having a warranty and its no good when I need it. I am beyond disappointed.
