  • I've had the same problem. I live in Canada. It is unbelievable how bad their customer service is. I can't call my own nettalk number from my cell phone. I live rurally and with our brutal winters I need to be able to call home in the case of emergency! If there is a class action initiated, I'm in!

  • Anyone who is considering NetTalk should think again. I signed up with them three years ago by recommendation and have had no problem until October of 2013 when my incoming calls were being rerouted to India, Australia, and Canada. In fact, when my phone rings, it also rings in India. Out of 300 calls, 150 of them were rerouted first to other areas. I'm going to cancel the service and eat the $40, it's worth dumping them to relieve the stress in trying to solve the problem. I'm also filing a formal complaint against them with the BBB here in Utah

  • I agree with the above complaints about NetTalk. I would not recommend this company to anyone and would warn you against buying their product. I have been their customer since Feb. 2012 but the service has given me one problem after another.

  • I completely agree with all the other posts. Nettalk is a BS ripoff scam. Don't be fooled. If you have it, get something else. It will never get better. If you don't have it – STAY AWAY!!! Don't be enticed by the low price. You really do get what you pay for. Dropped calls, poor line quality, anemic features and no customer services whatsoever!!!

  • I am with the other 2 comments on this page. We just changed from Direct TV to Dish Network with the phone service from NetTalk. It was a big mistake to have NetTalk. I had to wait days to get my old phone number from Digis applied to NetTalk. I have followed their instructions to get my voicemail and still cannot get my messages. This was no problem with Digis. I called Customer Service to ask about my problem and I waited over half hour. I then called Technical Support and waited for another half hour. I even called the corporate headquarters and I was not able to connect with anyone. I called the company through whom I got my Dish Network and asked if there was another phone service I could have since NetTalk doesn't have any customer service or technical support that I can reach. The Mission Statement of NetTalk is that they offer superior customer service. The executives should try the numbers that I have used and see how terrible their service seems to be. I can't wait to have another phone service. I am also going to report this incident to the Better Business Bureau of which NetTalk is a member. I have experienced some bad company customer service but this has to be worst than any company I know.

  • I have the same problem. I've sat on the phone for 3-4 hours only to get someone that can't help me. I don't know much about MagicJack but if they have even a modicum of better customer service i'll be there when my service is up with this pos.

  • I've been a nettalk user for over 1 year now and I have decided at this point that nettalk has become a nightmare. THeir tech support is horrible. You "submit a ticket" and it NEVER gets answered. You try to phone about your issues and you spend 2 hours plus on hold and then they hang up on you while waiting for them to resolve your issue (which never does get resolved) leaving you to call back multiple times and spend pretty much the majority of your day on hold. The whole bit about being able to use the nettalk without a pc is bs. The device light never turns green and stays orange. Despite following nettalks setup instructions. When u try to use the video phone option you always get a mac address failure. Never again. Once my time is up with these jerks I'm going back to Magickjack. At least you can get a hold of an agent via live chat and not have to wait hour upon hour to talk to someone or day after day for someone to ignore your ticket you submit.
