  • I recently stayed at the Hebron, Ohio Red Roof. The room was not very clean, and there was a stench in the ehtire hotel. The desk person, a long dark-haired lady, was so very rude, I almost did not stay there. Definitely not a good place to stay

     
  • My family and I stayed at the Palmdale,ca location.
    I am appalled and devastated that the employee's/ management are so unprofessional.As a paying guest who is patronizing their establishment/ franchise I desire / request/ require quality service….THEY HAVE FAILED ME!!!
    I am sleep deprived due to construction they they failed to notify me of when checking in prior to it beginning 9;00 a.m.They were fully aware it would take place .However due to the negligence and incompetence I am greatly affected by this.I was unfairly/ unjustly robbed of my proper rest.
    I work from my computer 5 days a week I'm up all night and sleep/ rest during the day.''UNFORTUNATELY'' for me now I'm DISORIENTED,FATIGUED,FRUSTRATED,IRRITATED, AGITATED,AGGRAVATED,STRESSED from lack of proper rest caused by the construction ''no one advised me of!!!!It is ''EXTREMELY '' dangerous to drive after ''NOT'' having any sleep/ rest!!!The employee took that choice and decision from me !!!
    ALL I WANT IS TO BE ABLE TO REST BEFORE I TRAVEL…..I AM BEING DENIED COMPENSATION/ ACCOMMODATION FOR 1 DAY SO THAT I CAN ''JUST REST''
    TAHE WORST OF IT IS THE INSULT TO INJURY…..I WAS OFFERED AT 8;00 P.M TO BE MOVED TO A UPGRADED ROOM FOR 15 HOURS.HOW DOES THAT HELP ME ??? I'M UP ALL NIGHT ON MY LAPTOP COMPUTER WORKING FROM 10;OO P.M TIL 6;30 AM. CONSTRUCTION STARTS AT 9;00 A.M. AND CHECK OUT IS 11;00 !!!!
    ALL I WANT TO DO IS REST/ SLEEP IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK????
    MY COMPLAINT/ GRIEVANCE IS LEGITIMATE…..I AM THE ONE WHO HAS BEEN INCONVENIENCED .I WAS SO DISORIENTED FROM LACK OF SLEEP THAT I DIDN'T GET ROOM SERVICE THAT DAY…NO NEW/ CLEAN TOWELS NO TRASH TAKEN OUT.WHEN I WENT TO THE FRONT DESK THEY HAD NO CONTACT INFORMATION FOR THE MANAGER AND THERE WAS NO ONE AVAILABLE FOR ME TO SPEAK WITH TO TRY TO ACCOMMODATE / COMPENSATE ME OR EVEN TO COMPLAIN TO !!!!

  • I been a long term customer for the 194 Edison, Nj location. The service was great until the change of management under the leadership of the manager name Leon. He was rude to the customer and does not know how to train his new employees who looks like part of his family members. The front desk representative has no knowledge or experience to handle emergency situation and when they were back up on the front desk task that developed a dozen of angry customers. They start yelling at me on the phone when I tried to make a reservations. The manager pick up the my phone call after holding me off for a couple of times where the new employees left off . His start losing his manor and start yelling at me claiming I took up too much time of his employees. I am disappointed on the new management team that I don't believe I will visit this location again if I have other options. I like to inform any of u who a Rte reading this to find other location if you can. The quality level of the inn are not acceptable for their rudeness to the customer and service. Although the facilities were new but it all went down just because the manager don't know the basic principal of hotel management which is customer experience come first if they want business to keep on coming.

     
    • We have no Managers name Leon or any other by that name. We are sorry you had a bad stay with us but we do try our best not to be rude to the guests.

       
  • I checked into the red roof inn in Seatac next to the airport. I left my bags in the room and went next door to get something to eat. When I returned my room was broken into and the door was left ajar. I entered and my cellphone which was left on a charger and my tablet and keypad were gone. The front desk was not helpful neither to me or the police. I immdiately check out and had to sleep in my car with two kids. Never stay at Red Roof inn again.

     
    • It's a scam! Something similar happened to my friend who stayed there — her bag was stolen. Red Roof Inn Management said she would have to subpoena the records to track the keycard room entry log. That's ridiculous! You would think they would want to clear their name and get to the bottom of the matter but of course, this doesn't apply if you're running an inside job theft ring! She filed a police report and is going to write and call the corp office, as well as document other cases online that people have responded to about the Seatac theft ring aka Red Roof Inn. Thank you so much for documenting your experience at this dreadful facility. We have to make them accountable!

       
  • My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Red Roof at the Beaumont, Texas location.(11.11.12_Sunday night) The manager named Ursula Minix was very friendly and took care of everything we needed. We were very impressed with how Ursula handled the staff in a respectful manner. She deserves a raise because of taking care of things in such a caring way, not like some that have a not so friendly manner.

    If we need to go to Beaumont again, we'll be staying at this Red Roof location again, in the future!

  • WANTED TO SAY AT THE TINTON FALLS NEW JESEY RED ROOF AS MY BROTHER IS IN CRITICAL CONDITION AT NEARBY HOSPITAL. WHEN WE CALLED THEY HAD ROOMS BUT WOULD NOT ACCEPT THEIR OWNCOUPON OR ANY SISCOUNT PROGRAM ( AARP- AAA ). THEY SAID THEY DID NOT HAVE TO AS THEY WERE WAITING FOR DISPLACED VICTIMS OF SANDY AND WOULD BE GETTING BETTER MONEY FROM FEMA. BUT THEY WERE NOT GOUGING!!!! NEVER AGAIN FOR RED ROOF.

     
  • I'd like to know how an entire hotel gets away with having no telephones in any of their rooms? Went to check into your hotel in Hebron, Ohio and was informed at the front desk that there were no working phones in any of the rooms. That's no good for a woman traveling alone. The desk clerk said it had been like that for months. At first I thought he meant just in the room I was going to rent but he said it was all of the rooms. Is that even legal? I was really tired but I had to drive another 30 minutes into Columbus before I could find another halfway decent place to stay. I've never had a problem with Red Roof so this was a shocker.

     
  • My wife and I stayed at Red Roof Inn Monee IL, Worst stay ever. We had a five day reservation left after three. The front desk clerk spoke broken english and understood even less. The TV in the room didnt work, the vanity light did not work. The elevator license read "Holiday Inn Express" and expired six years ago. After complaining and being moved to another room. This one did not have an ice bucket, the a/c unit leaked all over the carpet, no toilet paper holder, main door did not close properly. I informed the front desk clerk, and all he did was smiled and say yes. When I informed him that we were checking out the front desk manager blocked the elevator with his body to keep us from leaving. Is there no regulation on franchises? We slept on a realatives couch that night, best sleep ever.

     
    • Are you kidding me, you complain about not having an ice bucket? I told you we would get you one. And the leak wasn't there with the previous guest, so we suspect you had something to do with that. And the foul odor you left behind in that room took days for us to air out, and lots of chemicals. Your lucky I didn't kick your ass at the elevator.

    • the hotel i stayed at had doo doo on the comforter. the clerk said the only change the comforter once a month or if soiled. I showed them the doodoo stain and we got four free nights!!! great!!

       
    • The red roof manager in Ridgeland, Ms has answers that all point any and all fault to the customer. while she also claimed she had to 'clean' and had professional cleaning done to our room…REALLY?? she failed to mention that while we asked for another room (cheaper rates) they kept us in that room…we vacummed because the housekeeper didn't….yes I had my dog, and my two parakeets but I doubt the parakeets were a libility….at least not as bad as all the broken beer bottles in the parking lot that they FAILED to clean up for 3 days….or the windows that you can't see out of…..yet I was bashed online for putting a trip adisor about this hotel…. we were asked to leave and the reasons kept changing….first I had Too large of a dog….then I had too many pets….then I was simply told to leave….Don't ask red roof ANYTHING….the people at the front desk and the managers play mighty than thou and will ask you to leave…then point the blame at you. HORRIBLE place to stay!!

    • Ha ha I stayed in a red roof in Rome Ohio paid for 7 days left with 3 still paid for they diddn't have cash ….. Get a call 3 days later saying the manager booked me rooms for the weekend and my money was gone ??? Don't ya have 2 sign for the room ??? That's forgery right there and getting in2 my account and using money some kind of fraud there im sure …… Maby if the lady would learn English be4 coming to america she would know this is against the law ……. I still havent recived my money back or any free rooms ??????

       
    • Amazed that Red Roof Inn would keep their name on some of these "hotels". How embarrassing!! If you are not going to have a standard for these hotels then you deserve the backlash.

       
    • Ok , where to start.. I work for the United State Government and had to be relocated to California, I found this Red Roof location on Craigslist as they were advertising for $199.00 a week, when I got there it was $305 and some change. Not what they advertised for. Thats not the main issue with me , here is the issue ; a guy that lives there for some time now came up behind my wife and grabbed her butt and pulled her towards him and she screamed for me and I came outside and ran him off, we called the office and 30 minutes later the lady for the office came asked if we were okay then left, an hour or so later the same guy was hiding behind a car and once I walk inside he came out from behind the car and charged at her again. I again ran him off and contacted the office and that time there were neighbors outside that saw this happen and we all ran him off and found out the room number he was in. The next day we requested to talk with management and the manager (general manager) came to talk with us and states hes no harm , hes harmless and I stated no; grabbing a female the way he did is not harmless . She offered to move us to another room and the room she wanted to move us to was nasty, bug infested and was a downgrade from the room we were in. I asked why cant you have him leave as it states in the contract that if someone causes problems they would have to leave, she states she cant make him leave because she would have to evict him. So we stayed in the room and at that time I missed 2 days of work due to safety concerns. The following day the same guy came back with his hands in his pants being very provocative towards my wife and at that time security was on site and saw him and advised the office to call the cops and the office didnt want to so we did. They orderd the guy to not contact us in anyways and theres still pending charges. The office faild to protect us by allowing someone like this stay there. This is not his first time doing this to people and the office knows this as 2 (nice) people that work there and a security guard advised us that management will not do a thing and this guy has set fires to cars, and chasing females around the hotel . This is not a safe place in my eyes. I will be filing a lawsuit and thought its best to tell everyone whats going on there. I also recorded some of this guys actions as he charged at a 65 year old ladtyand I had to stop him, I showed the office that video and they did nothing to protect anyone! The older lady left and found a safer place to stay. As of now my wife are on a do not rent to list because we called the cops and I recored that conversation I had with management to prove what they are doing. ALSO , they say pets stay free and thats not true! The place has bugs, has people outside drinking at night, guys chasing females around that they dont know, office staff that will not help protect there guest and the list goes on! I am reporting this red roof inn to local, state and federal agencies. Protect yourself and family and find another hotel!! I have 10 statements from other guest at this location , recorded events of the way management lies and what they have said, recorded actions of this creepy guy and a police report. This report will be posted to every hotel and travel sites in the United States! We have also been pointed to many other families that has had similar situations as this and if I have to I will help file a class action lawsuit!

    • OMG! This is THEE worst hotel we've EVER stayed at, and I guess I can kiss my $350 for just TWO FREAKING NIGHTS! The bed was lumpy, and the pillows were flat and useless; the toilet was dirty; there was only ONE wash cloth and NO toilet paper (only the leftover roll on the holder); the bathroom faucet came apart, and the bathroom sink clogged and filled up every time we used it;(my husband had to fix both); Dogs were barking in the middle of the night; the A/C did not work properly; the TV remote buttons kept getting stuck, so it was difficult to change channels; the WIFI was a joke! Never worked right! It kept logging off, and it was just ridiculous. We complained about this and was told that "sometimes when it's this busy, we have problems with the WIFI. If other people complain, then I'll re-set it." WHAT? Really? So, two guests complained about the WIFI and THAT wasn't enough to simply re-set it? WTF? We were SO pissed about all that went wrong with this place after paying $350 for just two nights!!!

       
    • My family and I stayed at the one in Queens new york the bathroom had mold they came up and sprayed white paint over it and said u can go into your room for 4 hrs I asked to move rooms and they didn't have any rooms clean.the bathroom and rooms are very dirty I would feel very upset if I was the CEO of this company. Save your money and find something that's worth it.plus I got charged for 3 night when I stayed 2 and they said oops sorry. I never have got my monly yet.

       
    • The worst motel in Harrisburg, PA is the Red Roof Inn located on 400 Corporate Circle. There is a lady here by the name of Sue how is not pleasant located in the front lobby, rooms are very dirty bed bugs problem. Supervisor was notify and never did anything request for a refund never received anything. This motel needs a real clean up with rooms and workers. DO NOT SAY AT THIS HOTEL! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO CARE BUGS HOME WITH YOU!!!!!!
