  • On Thursday 3/24/22 I purchased a container of mostaccioli and a ddboop87@gmail.com container of spicy honey wings. This was for my lunch for work. I went to open the mostaccioli and there was mold on it! My co workers and boss also noticed. There are videos and pictures taken! So I preceded to prepare my wings and they looked and tasted old! I actually gotten sick to my stomach!! Everyday I bring the rest of my lunch home I didn’t finish, I give it to our daughter. I’m thankful she didn’t eat any of it because she could’ve gotten sick and she can’t because of her health issues she’s already dealing with! So I called schnucks as well as my co workers from the news station encouraged and tried calling as well to file a complaint! This was my lunch and I had no money to purchase anything for me to eat. So I had to starve and I get sick if I don’t eat nor was able to take my medication! I was hoping schnucks took it serious on the situation and were told to bring items back and receipt and they will take care of me with an apology. When I get there they give me a refund for $7 and then $5 after I reminded them of the wings alone with a $10 gift card!! This is all they have done for me to have to suffer til I get off work to basically nothing! The gift card was given to an elderly lady outside of Schnucks. I feel how it was handled and how much given wasn’t enough because I actually gotten sick for not being able to eat as well as the wings being old! Their are photos and videos and my co workers from the station have those videos and photos as well and they are not satisfied with this Schnucks and are not far from doing a story on them. I really do hope I as a loyal customer and it shows n my bank and reward number just how loyal I was! I had to miss out on my employer due to me being I’ll because of this situation and thankful I’m ok! My next move would be to do a story and contact my attorney whom are available. Thank you and if I not contacting the correct people, please let me know whom I need to contact.

  • You need to stop with making one end of the store one-way only and go back to the double door entry and exit. It makes elderly folks walk twice as far and what does it even accomplish? People inside get closer than they do at the double entrance/exits. And when can we bring our cloth bags inside? We are drowning in your plastic bags.Masks will not be mandated in the State of Indiana in a week. What are you going to do about that?

  • I was in the Alton location I watched a cashier hugging on someone that works there. I went on did my shopping. Got up to check out. The same cashier women walks away from her line just to go hug on two more people to say hi to them. we are all waking to check out and this women takes her time to go visit. then she does not even use sanitizer before she touches my food. I think you need to have a talk with that store. Alton Ill.

  • Hello Schnucks. I was in the store on Friday evening, August 8. Everyone in the store had complied with the mask wearing order – except one entitled individual. There are signs clearly stated at the entrance that masks are required. I informed a checker who said he'd "tell a manager if he saw her". Bulls*&t! The mgr. came up to release a checker for a break and this other good checker asked, "Would you like me to tell her about the guy?" And I said yes. I saw her reaction and she looked less than thrilled. My husband suggests that maybe you get security guards in there to enforce the rules. It is entitled a$$wipes like this jerk that keep this virus active and if Schnucks doesn't enforce the rules then Schnucks is part of the problem. I had the guys picture on Facebook with my post (which I have since deleted because I made my point) but the comments towards the Schnucks company were not nice to say the least. Be part of the solution – AND NOT ENCOURAGE THE PROBLEM! And tell your darn checkers to at least look at little more concerned than the lackadaisical attitude I got.

  • Why does the store in Bethalto Illinois let people shop their without a mask? All they have to do is refuse to check them out! This is ridiculous! Every one should wear a mask to prevent another shut down.

  • If your deli is suppose to be open til 9:00 p.m., do not have the potato salad and side dishes covered with parchment paper and the deli meats wrapped up inside a white bag at 8:00 p.m. and then tell people, you cannot slice anything as they have been cleaned. You have to leave at 9 p.m. You help only the customers that know when the deli is supposed to close and ask to be helped, but tell another customer in front of me that you are closed. I think the solution for Schnuck's is to give the one night time deli person that has to close an additional half hour to clean or an additional person and 1 person to help customers up until 9:00 p.m. Do not cover the items before that time and have your workers act like they are already closed when infact, they are not until 9:00 p.m. The employees try their best to not wait on people and appear closed and that is just WRONG! I went to Dierbergh's, was greeted with a friendly employee that helped me right up until 9:00 p.m. Now, which store and service would you appreciate more as a customer? If it wasn't for having 2 24 hr. Schnuck's real close to my house and the Dierbergh's a bit farther away, I would not hesitate to shop at their deli more and be greeted warmly and not like I am an inconvenience if I show up at 8 or even 8:45 and want a pound of deli meat. The employees are not friendly, would rather you just leave so they can go home. Please Schnuck's get a better hand on your deli! Dierbergh's in Florissant, where I live is expanding, so you should try to at least have friendly deli people at night and they should help you up til 9:00 p.m. with no attitude or trying to avoid looking open.

  • I am very concerned about the changes within your store. Number 1 the warehouse issue, and how there is none or very little produce on the shelves, not to mention other products. #2. I cannot believe that you are not going to let the Salvation Army collect at Christmas time, or the girlscouts sell their cookies, and Kiwanis for the needy children. I hope you know this will put a huge impact on your business. People are already shopping at other grocery stores, and refuse to support your business. Now with the new news about decisions you think are good for your business is just going to make more customers go to the other stores. Remember greed always come back whether you think you are getting what you want or not. You need to change from Friendliest Stores in town to the most selfish stores in town…..Just saying

    • The truth is all the people need to fight to save the union workers because the alternative is slavery for all of us. We need to support each other for all American working people against the corrupt corpoRATism swallowing up America as we know it. This affects every living person in America. CorpoRATism is the control of a state or organization by large interest groups. Don't wait until your government bails out XPO Logistics or the supermarket giants. Stop this now by withholding your purchasing dollars.

    • I agree to not shop at a Schnuck market until you reinstate the union workers and throw XPO Logistics out on their ear. What you are doing is morally wrong.

  • We live in Machesney Park ,IL we buy our water softner salt in Morton 25 lb. bags. We buy them two at a time because we never know when it will be there when we need it. Wright now we have gone to all of our surrounding stores and none of them have it. If this item is a big seller why not make sure the stores have plenty. Seems like the other kinds don't sell these bags do. I can't pick the 40lb. up cause I have a bad back.

  • I went to Schnucks to pick up a prescription that the doctor had sent in. I was told that the prescription would not be ready until the next day. I asked them why and they said it was store policy. I was in so much pain. They asked me did I want to wait 30 minutes, of course I said yes because I needed that medication. So I had to sit there 30 min. in pain. My doctor had sent the scrip in two hours before I even arrived there. I think that policy needs changing before something drastic happens to somebody. NOTE: THREE MORE PEOPLE CAME IN WITH THE SAME PROBLEM WHILE I WAS WATING FOR MY SCRIP.
