  • What can I add but if you rent from UDR you are a fool. They don't give a @#_% about you as long as you pay your rent. The folks at corporate just give you hot air and a kiss -off. Hate UDR!

    The most horrible management company and its staff at the apartments are even worse. If you choose not to renew your lease, they make your life a living hell and withold your deposit for 2 months or more. The staff at Los Altos in Florida is the worst and if you ever complained about anything, they try to say you damage their apartment so that you will never get back your deposit. Dont rent thisapartment, it is a lime bag, I could post pictures of the roach infestation that I had to dealwith for four months before they could rectify the siutation.

     
  • The worst of the worst! Stay the hell away from any community run by UDR. Irresponsible, rude, unresponsive, arrogant and absolute liars! They're happy to take your money, but once they've reeled you in and you've signed a lease, good luck!

    Disrespectful and discriminatory management. The worst apartment experience of my life!

     
    • Amen!!!!! and i have ony been at my property for 3 weeks. When they want your money the will harass you and be very rude. But if you need something fixed they dont want to do a thing. The most unprofessional ppl i have ever dealt with. How are they even in buisness?????? something has to be done. Con artist and hustlers

       
  • These guys will try as much as possible to frustrate you when you end your lease and even go further to try and hold your security deposit from you.There is nothing unique about them,they operate the same as any other company but have more defaults.You can think every staff is trained differently with regards to company policies because you'll always get different advise regarding the same issue and even the associates seem more knowledgeable and understanding than management.5 years ago i moved into an apartment that was previously managed by Avalon in Danvers MA:some years down the line UDR took up business and that was when issues sprung up.Just as one person mentioned,they will try their level best to withhold your deposit from you and as much as you'll try to reach out,you will never get a satisfactory answer.I would rather stay homeless than live in an apartment run by this company.I have advised many of my friends the same and would want everyone to know this.STAY AWAY!

     
  • I agree with every comment above. I am going through the same thing in Foxborough, MA. They have even gone as far as deleting me from the community access on the UDR resident site. If everyone was to post their experiences with UDR, maybe something would be done. It is unfortunate because they are beautiful apartments.

     
  • This company is horrible. They don't care about tenants happiness nor address tenant complaints. Tenants are a number, & It has gone from bad to worse. They have constant manager & staff turnover & going to corporate customer service doesn't seem to help either. Ms Lemay doesn't respond either. They do not keep proper records, don't address complaints, and there seems to be no chain of command or accountability to community management & maintenance

     
  • VERY UNPROFESSIONAL VERY BAD ATTITUDES VERY RUDE CONTRADICT THEN SELVES BY MAKING EXCUSES DON,T HONOR THEIR WORD THIEVES POOR MANAGEMENT DON T DO THERE JOB WHEN YOU HAVE A ISSUE OR COMPLAINT TREAT TENANTS LIKE THEY DON T MATTER AND WILL DO WHAT EVER THEY CAN TO KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT AND RUIN ALL OR ANYTHING LIKE YOUR HOUSING ASSISTANCE VOUCHER BY SUBMITTING FALSE PAPER WORK SO YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND BE OFF THEIR HOUSING PROGRAM AND THAT S FOR STARTERS I HAVE BEEN GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THEIR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT AT CAMBRIDGE COURT APTS IN SALINAS CALIFORNIA FOR OVER 6 MONTHS AND EVEN THEN WHEN I WAS ASSURED BY THEIR DISTRICT MANAGER THAT WAS GOING TO BE TREATED FAIR AND I WILL BE RECEIVING MY DEPOSIT BACK WITHIN 2 WEEKS AND NOW ITS BEEN WELL OVER 3 WEEKS AND YET NO DEPOSIT CHECK HAS ARRIVED BUT THEY INSIST TO GIVE ME THE RUN AROUND AND SAY ITS OUT OF THERE HANDS SO I MUST WAIT FOR IT TO MAGICALLY SHOW UP ONE DAY IN MY MAIL BOX WITH NO CONCERN OF TIME INCENSE OF URGENCY THATS WHAT I DESCRIBE AS VERY BAD SERVICE SHAME ON THEM ALL I WANT IS TO CLOSE THE BOOK AND MOVE ON BUT YET THEY SEEM STILL WANT TO GET THEIR LAST GET BACKS FOR ALL THAT HAS HAPPEN IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS NO I WOULD NOT RENT THEM EVER EVEN IF THE PAYED ME FOR I AGREE THEY ARE EVIL AND ARE CRIMINALS CAMBRIDGE COURT APT S IN SALINAS CALIFORNIA
