How to Escalate a Frontier Airlines Complaint

The following steps are suggestions for organizing the issue and requesting further review. They do not promise a particular resolution.

  1. Resolve the immediate travel decision first. If you are already at the airport, speak with a Frontier representative about available options. Ask whether you are being offered rebooking, a refund or a credit, and what each choice covers.
  2. Keep the trip documents. Save the original booking, flight number, travel date, route and change notices. Have the confirmation code available privately. Retain receipts for any disputed fare, bag, seat or service charge.
  3. Write a short, factual timeline. Explain the original plan, the change or problem, and the response you received. Distinguish an airline cancellation from a voluntary change you requested. Record what you accepted or declined.
  4. Choose the correct form. Use Share Feedback for a complaint or compliment. Use the refund or baggage process when seeking that specific action. In a related complaint, mention the existing refund or baggage reference instead of assuming the feedback form starts that claim.
  5. State the requested outcome. Ask for review of a particular charge, an explanation of a decision, a missing-service refund or another clearly described action. Identify any part of an earlier reply that remains unanswered.
  6. Retain the case history. Save the submission confirmation and chat transcript when available. Follow up using the existing reference and ask whether further documents are required.

Frontier’s feedback form asks for trip details and provides an attachment option. Before sending a document, check that it supports the issue and does not expose unnecessary payment or identity information.

If an air-travel complaint remains unresolved, the U.S. Department of Transportation complaint guide explains the federal route. DOT states that airlines must acknowledge consumer complaints within 30 days and send a written response within 60 days. Those periods concern complaint handling, not the processing time for every separate refund request.

Frontier Refunds and Canceled-Flight Questions

When can a Frontier ticket qualify for a refund?

Frontier’s refund policy says tickets are generally nonrefundable, with specified exceptions. Its 24-hour cancellation option requires the booking to be made at least seven days before travel. Airline cancellations and qualifying significant disruptions can also create refund eligibility when you do not take the affected or replacement flight or accept a travel credit instead.

Use the airline’s current refund options to identify your situation. Keep the original schedule, revised schedule and the offer you received. If you are unsure what a button will do, ask before accepting a credit or changing the reservation.

Will Frontier pay for a hotel or other expenses?

Do not assume that a ticket refund includes reimbursement of additional spending. Frontier’s refund page says it does not provide hotels or reimburse expenses for flight delays and cancellations. It separately describes meal vouchers for qualifying controllable disruptions. Ask the airline which assistance applies before making purchases in expectation of reimbursement.

Keep expense receipts even when the airline declines a request. They may help document what occurred or support a separate request under coverage you actually purchased. Review that provider’s terms and claim process rather than assuming the airline’s decision settles a separate insurance question.

What if I booked through another website?

Check the seller named on your receipt and payment statement. Explain whether you need the airfare reviewed, an airline add-on refunded or a booking changed. A travel agency’s reservation number may differ from Frontier’s confirmation code, so retain both.

Ask who is handling each amount and where the refund will be sent if approved. Separate a pending airline decision from an approved refund that has not appeared. Record the approved amount and processing date before seeking another update.

Frontier Baggage, Seats and Missing Items

Frontier’s baggage and seating guidance distinguishes the included personal item from carry-on and checked bags. Bag prices and included benefits depend on the purchase and applicable bundle. Before disputing a fee, compare the receipt with the bag category, the allowance shown in the booking and when the bag was added.

For a size or weight dispute, keep any relevant measurements and the receipt for the charge. Ask which limit was applied. For a seat dispute, save the seat purchase confirmation and the seat assignment actually provided; a seat selection and the underlying airfare are separate items to identify.

Which report should I make for a missing bag?

Use Frontier’s delayed or damaged baggage link for checked luggage that did not arrive properly. A personal item left on an aircraft belongs in the separate Lost and Found process. If an item was left in a terminal or at a security checkpoint, confirm which organization manages that location.

Report a baggage issue promptly and ask about the applicable deadline. Keep the bag tag, description, photographs and report number. Explain when and where the bag was last seen, and provide a current delivery contact privately if requested.

Before repairing damaged luggage or buying substantial replacements, ask what evidence is needed and whether approval is required. A public review cannot substitute for the airline’s baggage report or preserve a claim deadline.

Frontier Airlines Corporate Contact Questions

Does Frontier offer telephone assistance?

Yes. Its current passenger contact page publishes 602-333-5925 alongside chat and WhatsApp. This guide uses that current official listing rather than older directory numbers. No call was placed to test the number or measure waiting times.

What is Frontier’s HR or payroll phone number?

A dedicated public HR or payroll telephone number was not verified. The corporate and passenger numbers should not be labeled HR. Applicants can follow the employment link on Frontier’s official contact page; current and former employees should use the contacts supplied by their employer.

Who handles missing Frontier Miles?

Frontier publishes a missing-flight-credit guide. Check the requirements there and have your flight details available. For an account inquiry, identify whether the issue involves a flight, a partner purchase or a credit-card transaction so it can reach the appropriate team.

Can the corporate office guarantee an exception?

A headquarters phone number does not guarantee a policy exception, compensation or access to an executive. A documented request with the relevant booking and prior response gives the reviewing team a clearer basis for explaining the decision or correcting an error.

Frontier Airlines Disappointing Customer Service

June 2, 2025

Frontier Airlines, Beware, Walk if you have , don’t fly Frontier Airlines. You’ll probably get overcharged, IF (big if) you get to actually talk to someone it’ll be a poor English speaking cust svc rep who’ll overcharge you more, then when you try to call back their recording says they’re not answering phone calls anymore so use their chat, but chat doesn’t work because they leave you hanging with no cust svc rep, you won’t get on your cut-rate flight and you’ll lose $1000 while they’re laughing all the way to the bank……..and you still on chat hold a week after you were scheduled to return from your destination.

Frontier Airlines Unresolved Cancelation Issue

May 27, 2025

Frontier Airlines, Poor Customer Service. Can’t get anyone to assist with receiving a credit or refund for a flight I had to cancel due emergency surgery for my husband. I’ve waited hours and hours several times on the chat line to speak with a specialist. I’ve provided doctors documents also to customer service via email at least 6 times with no response. This has been ongoing for almost 3 months. I need my refund or credit for the 2 persons on the flight confirmation. Disappointed customer 😩

Response from Corporate Office Headquarters

Suggested Solution: Reach Out Through Social Media: Frontier often responds faster to public posts or DMs on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) or Facebook. Politely share your situation with your confirmation number. File a DOT Complaint: If you’ve been waiting for 3 months with no response, you can file a formal complaint with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) at:

https://airconsumer.dot.gov/escomplaint/ConsumerForm.cfm This often prompts faster resolution. Email Frontier Corporate: Try emailing Frontier’s executive team or corporate offices. A known email that sometimes gets responses is customerrelations@flyfrontier.com. Keep your message polite, concise, and include your flight confirmation and all documentation. Document Everything: Save all emails, chat logs, and timestamps. If needed, this can help escalate your claim through a credit card dispute if you paid with a credit card and are still within your bank’s allowable dispute window.

Frontier Airlines Unresolved Disappointing Experience

May 18, 2025

Frontier Airlines, Horrible. 18 May 2025 We had a connecting flight from BWI to Atlanta airport at 9:23 am to Phoenix. We arrived a little early and we proceeded to board our connecting. While we were on board, the captain announced they could not leave due to weather. We waited about an hour when the captain announced that the delay caused a crew issue that they could not complete the flight. Both captains abandoned the flight and flight attendants and left us in limbo. We had to deplane and waited for further news. At the time of this writing it is now 8:00pm and we still have not left the Airport. We were delayed time after time until now still in limbo. We were told that we were waiting for a flight attendant crew from Southwest Airlines. Frontier couldn’t even work this out without needing another airline to bail them out. Also, Atlanta airport employs the rudest meanest and down right nasty employees. I still don’t know how this is going to end. I can say that l’am disabled from the military and my wife is diabetic with neuropathy. Both of us sustained physical pain and discomfort and I was weak constantly losing my balance. My wife experienced pain in her legs and arms. Needless to say we will never fly Frontier again. Furthermore if at all possible we will not fly through Atlanta either. If its possible I will look into legal action against Frontier….

Frontier Airlines Disappointing Experience

May 9, 2025

Frontier Airlines, My nightmare! Coming and going to our destination on Frontier Airlines was by far the worst experience I have ever had, Going to Phoenix from Las Vegas on May 4th, Flight 4048, my wife and I, along with about thirty other passengers, missed the flight because of a gate change that we were not informed about. No text, no message on the App whatsoever, People who made the flight probably were fortunate enough to look at the departures and saw the change. Passengers should not have to rely on that to make their flight. Your employees lack of interest and empathy was appalling. We had to go home and return at 5:30 the next morning to get to Phoenix..Shameful! We are already exhausted and beyond frustrated. No one offered any vouchers or refunds for anything, no wonder Frontier is losing customers. Coming back was also a nightmare.Flight 4113 was supposed to leave at 5:54 p.m. but did not leave until 9:39 with the time of departure continually being pushed back with no explanations and no one their to explain what was going on. Again shameful and horrendous customer service; I’m in the hospitality business in Las Vegas and if we operated like this we would be out of work. We will never fly with your airline again, even if it we’re for free, and I will be informing everyone I come across to avoid Frontier Airlines at all costs. In fact we had to pay extra to have our tickets for Monday’s flight when the whole thing was Frontier’s fault. Again no responsibility for anything. No compensation for anything with the worst excuses that I’ve ever heard, The dog ate my homework would have been more believable, I could go on all day about how awful this was for my wife and I but I know nobody on your end cared at all! In closing I know nothing will be done about what we went through but having gone through the worst airline experience of all time, our mini vacation all but ruined, I had to let my utter disappointment and displeasure with Frontier Airlines to be heard although no one will probably take any of this to heart. On your end it’s just another customer complaining.

Frontier Airlines Disappointing Customer Service

May 3, 2025

Frontier Airlines, I’ve flown Frontier for years because they have a direct flight between my main routes; that part is fine. But if there’s any issue requiring help from them, I brace myself and build up stamina for the coming, hours of frustration and aggravation in the clutches of A.I., trying to get to a person in customer service. Doesn’t happen at all now. I’ve just spent four hours trying to get to intelligent life, someone who can combine my accounts, because I signed up for and paid the $99 annual fee for their Barclay credit card for “60,000” miles, and the miles have been sent to a newly generated account number that Frontier refuses to recognize. It is Not Over yet; my hours caught in their online chat and phone connection streams came to precisely nothing. It is not possible to describe how maddening and demeaning time spent in those robot ruts is. Down with dehumanizing A.I. Up with humans. Where are your humans, Frontier customer service??
