nvitation Homes Disappointing Customer Service

Invitation Homes, I will never rent from Invitation Homes again.. I have lived in an Invitation Home for 5 years. During this time, we had dealt with numerous maintenance requests and the outcome of the issue not being resolved. Such things as roaches, leaks, A/C issues, sliding glass door, shower head, etc. This has been ongoing. When we moved out, they are trying to charge us for all these issues, which is unbelievable. They do not follow up from their vendors they send out and then charge the resident. Then they buy brand-new stainless-steel appliances to turn the home into a smart home, and have the nerve to charge the resident, when the older appliances market value was less money than the new appliances.

Invitation Homes Maintenance Issues

June 12, 2024

I have rented my home since February of 2023. I have paid my rent by no later than the 2nd of each month. I have taken care of this home like i own it. I have had several issues with the home that I have fixed myself. I really chose this home over several others due to it having a pool. Our pool kind of worked when we first moved in but has never been all the way right. NOW there is no pool filter working, our weekly pool people come in with a bucket of bleach and pour it in the pool and leave. That is the jest of our pool cleaning. I have complained 11 times and have been told they are sorry and they will fix it. I haven’t been able to get into my pool for over three months at least. If you can, DONT rent from these folks as they dont care about their renters and or the homeowners they are representing.

Invitation Homes Customer Service Issue

Unacceptable Terms and conditions! Hello Everyone,I’ve been in the same home now for 4 plus year with this company. I’ve had my bittersweet moment and cannot get any resolution at this point. The home has experienced 3-4 floods, roof damage, a fence repair in the backyard, which is now coming apart, water heater damage, faulty electrical work and most recently a massive flood that has caused us to be out of the home form 2/29/24 – 6/13/24. I’m currently a cancer patient so I had to resort to living in an Air B n B this whole time. among the damage from the flood there has been damage to items in my home that are personal belongings. With going back n fourth the kitchen has finally been repaired but with no knobs, when inquired they placed a work order ticket for a recall to come back out. To only be told it was denied due to the fact that the cabinets that were initially in the home had no knobs, so these don’t need them. But this is new, so you want me to chip at the newly installed cabinets and damage them, In addition to having a non-competent team work on the project the floors are now damaged and which calls for new flooring, you want to replace a floor but not give me knobs for a cabinet so I can open them freely vs using a butter knife. Crazy right! I’ve been more than patient, which the stress level is not helping my current health status, I once faced eviction due to miscommunication. shrug that off but it’s now been episode after episode, I even was questioned about a lot of things during this flood, which again I overlooked. I feel the company moto you portray is not what it is and that make the family feel at home. I want my matter to be addressed and I want to be heard at the cooperate level now. there is a 7.5 million lawsuit from overcharging renters for late fees. Now that I have experienced both I need someone to speak with me. sooner rather than later .
