Wayfair Damaged Item Issue

March 6, 2025

Wayfair, Carport Received Damaged. I received the carport on January 3, 2025, there was snow on the ground. The carport box was damaged, I took pics to share with Wayfair customer service. In February the weather cleared up, the contractors open the (1) box and there were (3) damage parts; one being the roof of the carport was chipped. One of the metal pieces looked as if they had been chewed on the end. The other damaged part was bent really bad. I called for a pick up and was schedule on February 22, 2025, between 11:00am – 7:00pm. At 5:03pm, I call called dispatch to ask if the pick crew would call when they are on their way, I was informed yes, they would call. At 6:30pm, no call so I called dispatch to inquire again, she replied Ma’am the truck is back in the dock. I asked her why was I not notified that they were not coming. She could not give an answer, I asked to speak to a supervisor. He said he was sorry, and this should not have happened. I was scheduled for March 1, 2025, they still did not show. I called dispatch and she said she would escalate this, I was told my window would be 7:00am – 1:00pm. I called for confirm the next day; the lady told me the truck has to delivery the items on the truck before they pick up items. So I was told a lie regarding my pick up window. I was rescheduled for March 3, 2025, the pick up crew came, they did not have a dolly, or forklift so they were not able to pick up the carport. At this point, I’m no longer interested in a replacement carport and will not order any large products from Wayfair in the future. I still have the carport waiting for a pick date.

Wayfair Delivery and Assembly Issues

February 25, 2025

Wayfair, Delivery, assembly and repair/replacement policy. Ordered recycling couch and was delivered but assembly was included. The men didn’t know how to assemble it, said it was good. Well, the entire mechanism of on seat is bent and will be able to attach to the other part. It took 3 weeks to get couch. Repair man took 2 weeks to get to house and has to order mechanism which will take anywhere from 3 to 12 weeks to receive. So ordered replacement. They want to pick up old one before I get new one. We have nothing else to sit on. So unacceptable. Now couch is on sale, but I paid more, and I won’t even get any money back. Couch is unsafe to sit on because it keeps tipping over when you get off of it. One side will not go down. It has to stay up.

Wayfair Disappointing Order Issue

Wayfair Customer Service. Wayfair LLC. 4 Copley Place, 7th Floor Boston, MA 02116 Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Canceled Range Hood Order and Return Refusal. Dear Wayfair Customer Service, I am writing to formally express my frustration regarding a recent order issue with Wayfair. On 2/4/2025, I placed an order for a range hood (Order #4226577775). However, I quickly realized that I needed to cancel the order, and I successfully canceled it within 2 hours of placing it. Despite this, I was later informed that the item was still shipped and is now not accepted as a returned item. •Order submitted at – 9:17AM 2/4. •Cancelation email sent – 12:41 PM 2/4 •Attached Follow email sent from Wayfair Customer service – 4:52 PM 2/4 – Hood Delivered on 2/8. I find this situation unacceptable, as I acted promptly to cancel the order well within what should be a reasonable timeframe. If the order was already processed and shipped before cancellation could be acknowledged, that is an internal issue at Wayfair’s end and should not result in unfair consequences for the customer. I kindly request that you provide a resolution to this matter by either: 1. Accepting the return of the item and issuing a full refund. 2. Arranging a prepaid return shipment at no cost for me. As a loyal Wayfair customer, I am disappointed by the handling of this situation and hope that Wayfair will prioritize customer satisfaction by addressing this concern fairly. Please provide a prompt resolution at your earliest convenience. If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to escalate my complaint further. I appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and look forward to your response. Please contact me for any further information. Sincerely.

Wayfair Stinky Broken Clock

Wayfair – Stinky and Broken Clock! I ordered a clock from Wayfair, and when it arrived, the package had a horrible smell. I had to open it with rubber gloves, only to find that the clock itself smelled too. On top of that, the screw for the hands was broken, and the hands were already attached—despite instructions on how to install them. It seemed like a returned item. When I called customer service, they required me to take a picture, use my own tape to repackage it, and arrange a return—all while they hold my money until a refund is processed. This would be understandable for a simple return, but not for receiving a defective product. Completely unfair!
