Wayfair Poor Customer Service

July 11, 2024

Damaged and Poor Craftsmanship, Unsatisfactory Customer Service! I ordered a vanity for our bathroom. It cost $1,172.86 and we are not rich people. The box was opened when the carpenter was ready to install it. The drawer hardware that allows it to open and close was put in wrong and the drawers won’t open and there are big gaps around the drawers, when closed, because they are off center. It looks like a bunch of crooked teeth. One of the drawers had a hole that was drilled, then filled in with wood putty and painted over. When we contacted customer service, they would not help us because it was over 30 days. This is not going the extra mile for one of their customers. To not even try to help us salvage this item has made us decide to file complaints in our home state.

Poonam (Pam) Moore is the founder and owner of Poonam’s by Design, and is the featured designer on HGTV’s Rico to the Rescue Client Reviews If you are looking for a low-level designer who uses Pottery Barn and Wayfair pictures to decorate her website, look no further, but, plan to pay premium prices- hire Pam! She failed 24 inspections. She only came to our home when the cameras were rolling. She does not go above and beyond and has some really off ideas. Also, if you want a Mid-Century home remodeled don’t go there as she has never heard that. AWFUL! 4 months ago She over charged us for contractor work, was unable to provide invoices for the contract work despite multiple requests, and then added a 20% commission for herself on top of the inflated charges. We recently replaced a broken piece of glass that she had cut for us to protect a piece of furniture. She originally charged us $350 plus commission (20%) for the glass to total $420 plus tax on our final bill with her. Total cost to replace the same glass (several years later…after inflation) from the same source was $150. Additionally, I had over 150 emails from her and her employees throughout the course of the decorating process that consisted of a single room. The project took 5 months. And the wall of bookshelves in the room still looked terrible after she ‘arranged them.’ It was insane. Also attempted to charge me $125 for the service of hammering 5 nails in to the wall of the room. Plus commission and tax, of course. She seems to have found a way to hide negative reviews, as I was able to find some on less popular websites but not in google or yelp. Beware. We’ve had such a disappointing experience with Pam. We spent more than $500,000 with her on a remodel that was supposed to last four months and went on for over a year. She is happy to take your money – but if something breaks – even during the warranty period, she will point fingers and refuse to take accountability for her poor work product. She installed these granite counter tops on our outdoor fire pit, which cracked in half and she refuses to replace them. Granite is NOT supposed to crack in half! Most of her subs that worked on our project refuse to work with her anymore due to her lack of care for clients and lack of project management skills. Beware Employee reviews They have cameras that pick up audio and they listen to you in the showroom!!! Yep, they have even said they do in meetings! Not only are you surveilled in office but outside as well, owners husband sits in his car in the parking lot and will call you if he sees you leaving. Unfair compensation, zero incentive to work. Work in a showroom and make 0% commission (yep they bought it off wayfair) 0 paid sick days? Not legal. Overall the worst work experience I have ever had. Not even a real break room to have a lunch just a storage room, mop bucket, and a microwave. Seriously. Wayfair Terrible Customer Service

June 28, 2024

Front Entry Door, has been ordered for a month. Paid a little over $4000.00 and nobody can help or tell me where it is. Have called numerous times to 3rd party carrier and have received no return call. Have called Wayfair several times and I think they could really care less since they already have my money. I just spent over $10,000.00 with them on our remodel but that will be the last money I spend there even if I have to pay more. No photos to share due to the fact I have no DOOR!!!! Their email says it will be delivered between the 20th and 26th. Today is the 28th and still no call to schedule a delivery. I’m finished with Wayfair after this crappy service. Terrible, think before you buy!!!

Wayfair Terrible Customer Service

June 21, 2024

Wayfair sent me furniture with bugs and instead of resolving the issue their literally asking me to keep the furniture in the house so i can call an exterminator to make sure what im saying is true in order to get a refund when i already threw the furniture out.

Wayfair Deserves No Star

June 12, 2024

Placed an order and Wayfair lost the order (supposedly) in the middle of the shipping per the tracker. Legally they had to refund me because there was no item to ship to me. No one will do anything to make the order right. The responses from customer service are rude. This company clearly does not care about the customer or if we are satisfied. I will never order anything here again. YOU CAN NOT TRUST WAYFAIR AT ALL. I will also be closing my account as well. It’s ridiculous that Wayfair has a corporate office page that is FAKE and they tell you on that page as you scroll to the bottom. Again, do not trust anyone who creates a fake corporate profile to mislead you.
