IKEA US Headquarters Address and Contact Update

The IKEA US headquarters and service office address is 420 Alan Wood Road, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Customers may search for this as IKEA corporate office, IKEA US headquarters, IKEA corporate headquarters, IKEA headquarters, IKEA corporate address, IKEA headquarters address, IKEA main office, IKEA HQ USA, or IKEA US HQ.

The old page listed a customer service number that should be updated. IKEA USA’s current official support phone number is 1-888-888-4532. The commonly listed 1-610-834-0180 number is better treated as a corporate or business office number, not the main customer support route for delivery, returns, damaged items, or order complaints.

IKEA USA vs. Global IKEA Head Office

IKEA has a more complex structure than many retailers. IKEA USA customer support, U.S. stores, and U.S. online orders should normally be handled through IKEA USA. The global IKEA franchisor and concept owner is connected to Inter IKEA in the Netherlands, but that is not the best route for ordinary U.S. order, delivery, return, or store complaints.

For U.S. customers, start with the IKEA Customer Support Center, your local IKEA store, or the online order support route before attempting corporate escalation.

Choose the Correct IKEA Support Route

Delivery, Missing Items and Damaged Products

For late deliveries, wrong items, damaged furniture, missing boxes, missing hardware, or incomplete orders, contact IKEA customer support at 1-888-888-4532 or use the official contact page. Have your order number, delivery date, photos, product name, article number, and receipt ready.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

For returns or refunds, review IKEA’s return policy and bring proof of purchase when possible. IKEA says new and unopened products may be returned within 365 days with proof of purchase, and open products may be returned within 180 days with proof of purchase, subject to policy details and exclusions.

Installation and Assembly Complaints

For installation, assembly, kitchen, closet, PAX, cabinet, Taskrabbit, missing design code, or third-party service problems, document the order, design ID, installer appointment, photos, and support replies. If the installer or service provider is separate from IKEA, you may need to contact both IKEA and the service provider.

Store Complaints

For complaints about a specific IKEA store, pricing signage, cashier issues, returns desk, restaurant, damaged merchandise, pickup area, or local store management, start with the store team or IKEA customer support. Include the store location, visit date, receipt, and names of any managers or co-workers involved, if known.

IKEA Family, Gift Cards and Account Issues

For IKEA Family, online account access, gift card balance, rewards, digital receipts, offers, or coupon issues, use IKEA customer support and include screenshots, account email, phone number, receipt, and offer details.

IKEA Business and Corporate Orders

For IKEA Business, business network accounts, bulk orders, company purchases, design services, tax-exempt purchases, or commercial project questions, use IKEA Business support rather than the general customer complaint route.

What to Have Before Contacting IKEA Corporate Office

  • Your IKEA order number, receipt number, or case number
  • The IKEA store location, if the issue happened in a store
  • Product name, article number, color, size, and quantity
  • Delivery date, pickup date, installation date, or return date
  • Photos of damaged, wrong, missing, or incorrectly installed items
  • Emails, chat transcripts, callback confirmations, or support replies
  • Taskrabbit, installation, delivery carrier, or third-party service details, if relevant
  • The specific result you want, such as a refund, replacement, missing part, corrected delivery, pickup, repair, or written explanation

How to Escalate an IKEA Complaint

  1. Start with IKEA customer support. Call 1-888-888-4532 or use the official IKEA contact page.
  2. Use the correct order or store route. Delivery, returns, installation, store complaints, and IKEA Business issues may go through different support paths.
  3. Document the issue clearly. Save receipts, order numbers, photos, support replies, pickup confirmations, and delivery records.
  4. Ask for a case number. If the issue is unresolved, ask IKEA to provide a case or reference number and written follow-up.
  5. Escalate to corporate if normal support fails. For formal unresolved complaints, send written correspondence to IKEA North America Services, LLC, 420 Alan Wood Road, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
  6. Use outside resources when appropriate. For payment disputes, contact your card issuer. For delivery damage, document the damage immediately. For consumer complaints, consider your state consumer protection office or BBB if support does not respond.

Common Reasons Customers Contact IKEA Corporate Office

  • Wrong items, missing items, damaged items, or incomplete deliveries
  • Delivery appointments missed, delayed, rescheduled, or not completed
  • Pickup orders, Click & Collect, or order status problems
  • Returns, refunds, exchange issues, or refund delays
  • Installation, assembly, kitchen, closet, PAX, cabinet, or Taskrabbit complaints
  • Missing hardware, missing instructions, replacement parts, or product defects
  • Store complaints involving pricing, signage, returns desk, managers, or checkout
  • IKEA Family, account, gift card, coupon, or digital receipt issues
  • Restaurant, food market, food safety, or recall questions
  • Unfamiliar IKEA charges, duplicate payments, or pending authorizations

Delivery, Pickup and Missing Item Complaints

Delivery and pickup complaints are common because IKEA orders may involve large furniture, multiple packages, third-party carriers, scheduled delivery windows, warehouse availability, and separate pickup appointments. If your complaint involves a wrong item or missing box, keep the packaging labels and compare the article numbers on the boxes to your order confirmation.

If the delivery team brings the wrong item, refuses pickup of an incorrect item, misses an appointment, or leaves a damaged item, take photos and contact IKEA support as soon as possible. Ask for written confirmation of the replacement, pickup, refund, or new delivery date.

Returns, Refunds and Price Complaints

If your IKEA complaint involves a return, refund, price sign, sale tag, discount, or store refusal to honor a price, save the receipt and take a photo of the sign or product tag if available. For online orders, keep screenshots of the product page, order confirmation, delivery fee, and refund message.

Refund timing can depend on the original payment method, return method, pickup status, and whether the product was returned to a store, mailed back, or picked up by IKEA. Keep all return confirmations until the refund appears.

Installation, Kitchen and Closet System Issues

IKEA installation and assembly complaints often involve kitchens, closets, cabinets, PAX systems, missing design information, measurement disputes, uninstalled panels, damaged parts, or third-party installer communication. Keep the design plan, design ID, order number, installer appointment details, photos, and list of missing or incorrect pieces.

If an IKEA service provider or third-party installer is involved, ask IKEA which company is responsible for correction, pickup, replacement parts, or refunds. Request written confirmation so the issue does not move back and forth between IKEA, the installer, and the delivery company.

Unfamiliar IKEA Charges

If you see an unfamiliar IKEA charge, review recent store purchases, online orders, delivery fees, pickup orders, restaurant or food market purchases, gift card activity, and pending payment authorizations. Some transactions may show as pending before settling to the final amount.

For help researching confusing retail charges or unfamiliar card descriptors, visit ChargeOnMyCard.com. If you believe a charge is unauthorized, contact IKEA and your card issuer promptly.

Scams, Fake Support Numbers and Delivery Texts

Be careful with search results, texts, emails, ads, or social media messages that claim to provide a special IKEA refund department, delivery correction line, gift card giveaway, fake coupon, or corporate complaint shortcut. Use official IKEA websites, customer support, and account pages whenever possible.

Never provide your full card number, bank login, one-time passcode, gift card PIN, IKEA account password, or identity documents to a number or message you cannot verify. For fake support numbers, delivery phishing texts, refund scams, fake coupons, or gift card scams, visit ThinkItsAScam.com.

IKEA Reviews and Complaints

Current CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com review themes for IKEA include repeated wrong deliveries, difficulty reaching customer support, installation problems involving closet or cabinet systems, refund delays, pricing or signage complaints, and frustration with the lack of direct local store phone numbers. Several comments describe customers being transferred, disconnected, or unable to get a clear follow-up.

These reviews are individual customer experiences and may not represent every IKEA store, order, delivery, or support interaction. If you leave an IKEA review below, include the store location, order number type, issue category, whether the problem involved delivery, returns, installation, pricing, support, or store service, and what response you received. Ikea Unresolved Frustrating Delivery Order

May 30, 2025

Ikea, Four Wrong Deliveries and No Customer Support. This has now become unbelievable. Ikea has delivered the wrong Marabo sofa four times. The first three times, I received the wrong configuration, and today, instead of correcting the issue, you sent another incorrect piece—a second chaise. To make matters worse, the delivery team refused to take back the previous incorrect item, saying a separate pickup would need to be scheduled. Had I not insisted on speaking with their supervisor, I would have ended up with two wrong sofas in my home. Another time, I stayed home all day for a scheduled pickup that never happened. I’ve now wasted time waiting at home five times due to Ikea’s repeated errors. Trying to contact customer service is a nightmare. Yesterday, I was transferred from the shipping company to Ikea, waited on hold for 16 minutes, and then was disconnected after the agent picked up. The chatbot is ineffective, and navigating through automated menus just leads to more upselling instead of support. There is also no local phone number for the Merriam, Kansas Ikea store, making it even harder to speak to someone who can actually help. I’ve sent emails and received no response. I’ve provided callback numbers—no one calls back. The photos I attached clearly show the item I ordered and what has been incorrectly delivered multiple times. My time is valuable. I expect this to be corrected immediately, and I want confirmation from a real person—not another generic reply or failed delivery.

IKEA Frustrating Customer Service

February 13, 2025

IKEA, Faulty Closet System Installation with no resolution. I will never be using IKEA in the future. We ordered a PAX closet system and paid over $400 for installation. The installer did this incorrectly and the last panels were not put in. This was due to the way the unit was installed and not measurements being wrong. Countless phone calls and emails and chats with no assistance. We are left with half of what we designed installed and non functional space for the rest of the closet and boxes unopened. It has now been 3 months with no resolution from IKEA. This has been exhausting and such awful customer service. It’s actually consumer fraud at this point and I will be moving forward with legal action.

Ikea Frustrating Installation Experience

November 19, 2024

Ikea, Regrets. I deeply regret my experience with IKEA’s installation process. TaskRabbit, your installer, requires a “Design Code,” but IKEA only provides a “Design ID,” which is apparently useless for installation. My items, delivered over a month ago, remain uninstalled because of this missing code. I’ve spent hours on the phone with no resolution. IKEA even issued a credit but then charged for items it didn’t ship. When I contacted Lulu at 972-641-9535 x1494 to clarify, she claimed my account number was invalid—how is that possible? I’m stymied at every step by unhelpful policies and communication issues. My order has been sitting in my space for weeks, and I suspect there may be other issues with it as well. I need a solution now, not more runaround. This isn’t a review—it’s a desperate request for help to get my cabinets installed!

Ikea Customer Service Issue Long Island NY

March 25, 2024

Would not honor posted price – Long Island! The item iIwent to purchase had multiple signs indicating a discounted price. I confirmed the sale price via the price checker in the aisle. When I got to the cashier my total was higher. Both the attentdant and supervise confirmed the sale price …it appeared also in their pda. They shrugged their shoulders & said there was nothing they could do. The refusal to honor the price was mindboggling. Supervisor Kim needs lessons on how to work in a customer oriented environment. She was extremely cold and abrubt. I spoke with store manager Michael about the issue. He said (direct quote) that it is better to lose a customer than over ride a price. WHAT??? For grand total of $6? Well, Ikea you have successfully done what you set out to accomplish. Get with the program & stop pretending to have sales meanwhile ripping customers off. Very shady & disgusting practices. I guarantee you, the corporate office will not be upset that you tried to do right by the customer. Micheal kept referring to the fact that the store would be disciplined for taking such measures. Not buying the bs. I am a store leader at major big box retailer for over 20 years. We would never treat a patron in this manner. The issue was in the computer…something so easily fixed by overiding the price to satisfy & retain the sale. Where are your priorities Ikea? Do I need to spell it out? No customers = no sales = no profit.

IKEA Customer Service Issue

January 19, 2024

Lacking Customer Service!

After almost 3 months of attempting to resolve an issue, I am still getting the runaround. After repeated attempts to get a proper phone number so I can speak with the same agent in regards to my issue, I am told I can only reach them by email. I know this is because they want a paper trail, but to provide true customer service they should call me and then follow up with an email. IKEA doesn’t care about customer experience. The marketing is just that, marketing. When you do have an issue they want nothing to do with you.
