Habit For Humanity, Just wanted to bring to your attention that the operational standards across the Restore network are not as consistent as they should be. I have a whole trailer of modestly used kitchen components I’m looking to donate. In recalling my last experience at the ABQ Restore I’m finding myself looking for other recipients. I checked Yelp to see if others felt the same or if it was just me. To my surprise there were folks describing my exact experience except for one. That was when I had found a really nice item and brought it to the front only to be told that wasn’t for sale. My sense at the time was that the dude actually didn’t know it was in the store and wanted it or wanted to resell it himself. Total speculation but I have a sense for this kinda behavior when it arises. So this is Not typical of other Restores in the country and I suspect someone at Corporate needs to audit and or “secret shop” this store for some first hand data.

Habitat for Humanity Headquarters - No help in my area in Trinity, Texas

August 25, 2023

I’m in Trinity, TX 75862, in Trinity County (Not the Trinity near Ft. Worth!), Which is the poorest county in the nation! There is NO help in my area. Why is that??? You have Habitats in places all over the nation, which are well-off. Why don’t you help the people who need it the most???!!! Please open a Habitat for Humanity in Trinity County Texas 75862, In Trinity or Groveton, TX ( NOT the Trinity near Ft. Worth!!!)

Habitat for Humanity store in Salisbury North Carolina is really out of their mind. I have tried to pick up donations of things that could be sold for a good bit of money like an almost new sofa, light fixtures new in the box, a microwave, etc. when you call they give you third-degree questioning like they don’t want to come and Pick it up. they act like they don’t really care if they get the donations or not and ask if you will drop items off. I will no longer donate to this store and will tell my neighbors and others not to donate to them, and send their items to Salvation Army or Goodwill. Poor business service for Habitat For Humanity.
