LabCorp, Disappointing Facility 6/9/26, 10am appt. First, the positives. The check-in person was pleasant and the tech was both pleasant and efficient. Now, the negatives. The actual LabCorp center was airless and had no air conditioning on an 80 degree day. The tiny waiting room had 4 decrepit chairs, forcing a number of people to stand in an already cramped space. The draw room was makeshift with a curtain but no door. The bathroom was a disgrace, with the smell of mildew and a large piece of oak tag covering part of one wall (a leak?). The grout between the floor tiles was filthy, there was a broken piece of unfinished wood along the baseboard and significant dirt and wood shavings on the floor. This is where I was supposed to leave a urine sample!! I didn’t have my cell phone so that I could send you proof but my description is accurate. Shameful and unacceptable conditions. I will never visit this LabCorp again, which, by the way, is located in an upscale doorman building and diminishes the building.

LabCorp Frustrating Experience

LabCorp, Frustrating Experience and Lack of Fair Service at LabCorp. I arrived at the Del Prado LabCorp location at 6:30 AM and confirmed that the posted hours were 7 AM to 3 PM. After waiting for the doors to open, I proceeded to the LabCorp area, only to find a message on the check-in machine stating the location was closed and directing me to the Pine Island Road location. I drove directly there and arrived around 7:10 AM. I checked in for fasting lab work and waited until 9:30 AM. During that time, I noticed many people being called in before me. When I asked the technician, she said they all had appointments. However, I had been marked with a “W” for walk-in and had been waiting for over two hours. I observed several others with the same “W” designation being called in before me. It felt as though preference was being given unfairly, and I was never called in. I had to leave for a pre-surgical doctor’s appointment without having my lab work completed. My surgery is scheduled for Thursday at 8 AM, and I’m now informing my doctor that the labs couldn’t be done due to this issue. I am deeply disappointed and concerned about how this was handled. I plan to escalate this matter to the appropriate state authorities to ensure fair treatment for all patients.

LabCorp Davenport FL Disappointing Service

LabCorp, Horrible Service, at 2209 North Blvd, Davenport, FL has no front office personnel, according to technician corporate says they’re not needed. Corporate also is responsible for booking 8 people per same time, causing an overwhelming backup with multiple people sitting and standing in a small waiting area which has to be against fire department or health dept regulations. Some people coming in don’t know how to check in or have cell phone or computer experience and are sitting there waiting for a call to the back that is never coming. My wait with appointment was an Hour and 45 mins…the overcrowding in waiting room was unsafe and unhealthy. The technicians should not have to work under such deplorable conditions! I’ll be making complaint to Florida Health Department and whoever else I can complain to until someone listens.

LabCorp Hillsboro OR Disappointing

LabCorp, First of all, when I logged on here to leave my comment, there was some background voice talking about Burger King headquarters and their phone numbers, and how to file complaints. What the heck? Very unprofessional. Major strike against your IT department. Someone got LabCorp and Burger King mixed up. Why are they even connected with your website? My initial experience with LabCorp has been a total disaster. The change from Providence to LabCorp has been awful and disappointing. First of all I’m a senior, and pushing us towards making appointments using QR codes (which can’t be trusted), or online, makes getting an appointment very unwieldy. I happened to be in the neighborhood of the Providence Reed’s Crossing Facility, Hillsboro, OR, and popped in to make an appointment. I was told to either use the QR code or go online. I’m not doing either.There are too many different portals, and I’m not setting up another one. I want human attention, and not be shuffled off on to more technology. The receptionist wasn’t particularly welcoming, but did give me a number to call for an appointment, which ended up actually being the billing department. However, the person who answered, said she could help me with an appointment. She was inept, asked me which location I wanted, which I had to tell her twice. She wanted to know the zip code, which I had to look up for her. I’m not being paid to do your employees’ job. She couldn’t seem to access my information, and kept leaving the call. Right in the middle of our conversation, the call ended. I don’t know whether it was a phone issue, or if she hung up on me on purpose. Very annoying. She also gave me the incorrect facility hours – 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. I found a phone number for Reed’s Crossing, and called it, only to get the recorded menu. I pressed the number for the facility hours, and they were something like 7 am to 6 pm, NOT 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. When the system tried connecting me to a customer service representative, no one was available, and they said to leave my name and phone number for someone to get back to me. I won’t hold my breath. Prior to the changeover, I would walk-in, sign my name and within a few minutes, I would be called for the lab work. Easy peasy. From the comments I’ve read from other patients, even with appointments, there are long waits, insufficient staffing, long waits for lab results, lack of supplies and general chaos. This is not a good way to begin a relationship with LabCorp. I’ve been in customer service for nearly 40 years. This changeover transition has been unacceptable.
