Safelite Expensive Rock Chip Repair

Safelite, Rock Chip Repair. Came in to get a couple rock chips repaired but the guy said we are the most expensive at $180.00 per rock chip. I declined. Way too much money. The glass place down the street repaired 2 rock chips for $50.00. Safelite price was way too high.

Safelite Union City GA Disappointing Experience

Safelite, Absolutely terrible work and customer service. The Union City, GA location is just terrible. I had to get my back window replaced three different times by Safelite because the initial installation was done wrong, which caused water to leak into my truck’s cabin. I had aftermarket speakers and an amp under the back seat, and they all got ruined. I reached out twice through phone calls, filed a warranty complaint, and even made an in-person complaint back in 2023. I’ve never received any acknowledgment for my claim, and there hasn’t been any offer of reimbursement. I’m done trusting Safelite with any work on my vehicles. It’s really disappointing to have to cross a local business off my list of go-to service spots. If you decide to go with Safelite, just be aware of the risks. I hope your glass installation goes smoothly, and you don’t run into any problems.

Safelite Disappointing Experience

Safelite, Dissatisfied Customer experience. I recently had a glass repaired and inspected, for a possible thermal shatter, I was told it was an object that shatttered the glass and not the defective window nevertheless I had the glass replaced, I told the service supervisor that was on shift that I wish to take my glass with me, so upon return of my vehicle they placed the glass in the vehicle, and my rear seating area had glass shards and cubes from the rear tempered glass on rug and floor, and inside the door panel itself was a rattling noise. The service supervisor told me because I opted to take my window and have it inspected I am not entitled to the shard removal because I do not pay for recycling fee, so satellite left the glass in the door and car, when got home to have window inpspected it was only a partial pane, the rest of the pane was broken off in the door panel as retaliation for not leaving the glass .And when I received my receipt in my email he wrote in the comments “ customer want glass left in car” that is the most unprofessional and grossly negligent written statement by far. Why would a customer want glass left in vehicle,

Safelite Frustrating Experience

Safelite, Terrible customer service. Scheduled a windshield replacement on our vehicle after using Safelite numerous times with no problems it was originally scheduled for Friday March 14 between 12-5 Friday morning the technician called and changed the time to 4-6 when Eric showed up he was either in a bad mood or had a bad attitude after being here a few minutes he decided he wasn’t going to do the job and we were told we would have to reschedule after calling the corporate office they apologized for the problem and wanted to reschedule our appointment we agreed to Monday the 17th we told them and they agreed that Eric would not be the technician on Monday this morning Eric called at 7:20 and said he would be coming out we told him we didn’t want him to come out Eric told us he was the only technician available and if didn’t want him we needed to call the local office very bad customer service and communication the reason for 1 star is because you don’t have a Zero.

Safelite DIsappointing Customer Service

Safelite, Easy excuses to avoid quality work. Had my windshield replaced due to cracks. After replaced I was driving and heard tapping. The bottom molding was seperated from my cowling at the windshield. A different person came out to look at it and said it was due to the sun, yet the original tech said nothing or had pics that this was already like that. I had no issues before them replacing the glass. Convenience of ignorance should be their position and mission statement. 3rd time using them and definitely a huge fail this time.
