Twin Peaks Disappointing Experience

January 21, 2025

Twin Peaks, Delivery of food and drinks is out of sync. The only good part of our dining experience, or the cold beers. Once we got them, we had to ask twice about our drinks. We had to ask for silverware and napkins after we finally got our beers and the Triple Play Appetizer, the chips that came with the appetizer were too thin, and kept breaking off in the guacamole And the nacho cheese hardened to the point where you couldn’t scoop the nacho cheese, the chips would break in the dip. The heated salsa was a different twist. It tasted like stewed tomato. We enjoyed the atmosphere, but the wait was way too long for our next beer with our empty glasses sitting on the table as I was looking at the menu I ordered a cup of the green chili, chicken soup, and a side of coleslaw I really enjoyed the coleslaw. The soup was brought, and it was barely lukewarm a piece of bread which was supposed to be garlic. Bread was like a burnt piece of toast. It should’ve been thrown in the trash, the coleslaw was almost 5 dollars for a cup of coleslaw, it was the worst coleslaw I’ve ever seen it look like somebody just shave some cabbage and put it in a cup with no seasoning no sauce no flavoring just raw cabbage I asked the waitress to take that off the bill and she did still waiting for our food and empty glasses of beers the waitress came by again and said oh you didn’t get your beers no, of course our glasses are empty. She went over to the bar and the beers were sitting at the bar where they hadn’t been delivered and they had been sitting there for at least 10 or 15 minutes that’s not a safe environment for an open glass to be sitting on the bar and somebody could tamper the drink just saying so we got our drinks and the food was delivered. I ordered egg, avocado, smash burger with french fries after eating half of the hamburger I realize there was no avocado on the hamburger , and a half of the french fries were like an old order that was sitting in the kitchen and they added a few extras to fill the order on the plate. It was my birthday, and my son had mentioned three or four times to the waitress that it was my birthday, and they did nothing , as far as singing happy birthday or offering a free dessert or anything of that nature so there were a lot of strikes against this restaurant I don’t want to sound like a complainer, but I’m just telling you what we experienced. The bill was close to $140 for the food and drinks , it wasn’t worth paying $40 for what we got other than the cold beers that we enjoyed. The service was totally out of sync. They need more bartenders and delivery people in the bar area so when the bartender makes the drink they can deliver it out to the table and not sit on the bar and get warm and exposed to tampering that’s just my suggestion and I believe it’s not your first rodeo so it’s things shouldn’t be so out of sync. Please respond back with a response. Thank you.

Twin Peaks, Poor service. Your Lakeland resteraunt needs an experienced food expediter. I was there last friday night and food was sitting under the heat lamps for 45 minutes not just one or two; plates 20 plates . The managers should have stepped up but nobody did. This was a very disappointment for such a fine establishment.

I discovered that your former employee, Lindsey, sent inappropriate pictures to customers. This behavior shouldn’t have been allowed, especially considering she was fired before. I suggest a no-cell phone policy on the floor to prevent this from happening again.
