YOU SYORE IN MADISON, ALABAMA OM HWY 72 #235 has a problem of having a young girl of 17 working there late at night by her self and the manager gave some damn story as they have a daughter of their own that works at one of their other stores by herself i know this is a lie you can make up all kinds of stories to jutify what you are doing wrong you need to have more than one person in that store at night instead of a 17 year old girl by herself i said close it at 5 pm when the other leave they said their frachise contract forbide them from closing at that time come on now you are asking for bid trouble with this child in there by her self you need to do something about this excuse of an owner or manager

  2. I took my phone to Batteries Plus for a battery replacement. The clerk had advised me on an earlier visit that he had experience doing this type of phone. I brought the phone in and the clerk said that he had a video that showed him how to do it; I explained that I also watched some videos and that if he was unsure about the job that it would be no problem for me to take it elsewhere or do it myself. He said no problem, he was experienced and knew how how to do it. Id' never done it before so I left it to the "experienced" Upon returning to pick up the phone I was informed that he had broken the screen. I could see the pry marks where he tried to force the screen off instead of working around the sides to gently remove it. He became confrontational and abusive as I appeared a bit unhappy that he broke my phone. I was now facing 4 days without my phone missing important calls, business , family etc. I lost a lot. When I inquired about the 30 dollar charge the clerk said "I did the work" I made contact with David Sullivan the owner. He wouldn't even let me speak, burying my every sentence with confrontational language and belligerence. No regard whatsoever for the massive inconvenience. Refusing to hear my experience he cut me off stating that "It's a work day and you have to call me after 7 if you want to discuss it. Imagine the "work" I was forced to miss. His concern was more centered around what the repair costs to himself was than treating the customer fairly. Prescott Valley, AZ location

  3. Battery-powered equpment can and does burn out bulbs instantaneusly. If you install a 3v bulb in place of a 7.5v bulb, which can and do frequently use the same base, and especially with LED replacement bulbs frequently available in place of older incandescent bulbs, the result can be instant toasted bulbs.
    If you could have supplied the battery specification, number of batteries used in the device, make and model,and/or the polarity (center + or shield +) of the bulb, then perhaps the agent could have helped you. Also, Retail establishments are not permitted to open packages, try out the bulb, and then sell it to someone else as 'new'. So, he can't just try every bulb that might work. I have worked retail, and when a potential customer is adamant on clinging to incorrect information, will not supply required product information, argues about why the agent is unhelpful and incorrect, and essentially renders it impossible to help him; the honest response is, "I can't help you."

  4. With regard to the Batteries Plus store 8601 W Cross Dr, Littleton, CO 80123 I had the most unnerving experience on June 25, 2020. I first went into this store in February to have a Jeep key fob coded. I was told at that time their computer was "down". Subsequently my husband made three different trips in to see if it was "up" and each time was given a different excuse. The hard copy key was damaged by the woman (Deanna?) who attempted to cut it and a new one was supposed to be ordered. On June 22, 2020 my husband called and was told by this woman that everything was ready and to come in to finish it up. I went in and experienced this woman yelling at the manager (Mike) and threatening to "go home" because apparently she felt overwhelmed. Eventually she turned her threatening tone to me after the manager told me that "no, we don't have the replacement key, the wrong one was sent to us" and "no, we can't program your key fob, we don't have that program". I asked why we weren't told that in the beginning and could we still get the replacement key, since the original had been damaged by her. He said he would call and she yelled at me from the back "no, we won't call". It was stunning to be treated like that and I really think someone should check on this store before her apparent anger management gets out of control. This store was a complete fail.

  5. I brought my phone to the Mount Juliet TN store to repair my cracked screen. Everything still worked on the phone. I waited an hour for it to be fixed I got back to the store and my home button on my iPhone wasn't working properly. I told them this issue and said I would have to come back the next day to see if they can fix it. I came back and left my phone for an hour and fifteen minutes. They said your all set and before I left the store my home button still didn't work. They said they could put a new screen on and see if that worked but it would take another hour. I left the store with a messed up phone that they broke but couldn't fix. If you cant fix a phone you shouldn't be working at a store that does so.

  6. I went into your store #358 located at 293 east 3300 south Salt Lake City, Utah. I went in to buy a battery for my camera very pleasant experience to begin with older gentleman with gray hair was able to find the battery and rang me up, this is when my issue began. He first asked me for my phone number I gave him a 20 year old number he then asked me for my name I told him he did not need this for a $4.00 battery he became adamant that I must give him my name I again told him he did not need my name for a $4.00 battery. I paid and asked for my receipt he said if I did not give him my name he would not give me a refund should I need one. This was very poor customer service and I was appalled by this employees attitude. The customer # on my receipt is RM-000009262908 order # P27558428 under the bar code is the 358-02 and under this is NC358. This occurred on 6/8/20 at 11:01 AM

  7. Great Customer Service from the team at your Roseville, Minnesota Store. Karla and her team are informative and engaging. Your reputation is enhanced by competent and hard working folks like Karla. I watched three happy customers walk out the door ahead of me on my return trip. I'll be singing the praises of this location.

  8. I want your bring attention to one of the greatest employees and representatives of your company located in your Pinellas Store on Park Blvd. His name is Josh Landers. I had a problem with my Apple 51c phone and needed a new battery. Josh took the phone and unfortunately part of the motherboard was affected when he removed the tape holding the battery. The phone had to be replaced, which was done on August 16, 2019. He has a great wit and humor. While I waited for my phone getting info from the old phone there were a couple of irate customers that came in and were not happy with the outcome of their situation. Josh took the abuse in stride and moved on, never trying to intimidate nor argue with the customer. Really smooth, calm and collected. I hope you realize that Josh is not only a super tech, but also a super person. Will be back if I ever have any problems with other equipment you can fix.

  9. I'm writing to try an contact an make those that need to know of how shady Your managers/warranty is. I purchased a lithium battery (almost 300$) for my motorcycle around August of 2015 here it is August of 2016 an the battery has not only failed me but fail the stores testing. At the time of purchase and now I'm told the battery has a two year warranty but the warranty is void because of low voltage. Isn't a bad battery a bad battery?

  10. On 1-6-16 at 5:55 pm I called Batteries Plus 525 West Douglas Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545, 574-271-2931 and asked if they sold small bulbs for a battery operated magnifier I own. I do not have a bulb for it but you can see the profile of the base. The salesman said he has thousands of small bulbs and would not be able to help me if I didn't know the exact bulb because of voltage etc and didn't want to burn out his bulbs.

    I have issues with this because 1) batteries will not burn out the bulb because of voltage, 2) if the bulb fits in the base it will work and 3) if I purchase a bulb why does he care if it later burns out …that is my concern.

    He discouraged me from coming in saying he probably would not be able to help me.

    I hope this location is not corporate owned because whoever this is doesn't truly understand his business nor does he have experience with bulbs. I couldn't believe he didn't say, "Come in and I am sure we can find the right bulb for you."

    I'm leaving this message so if this is a franchise understand you have a franchisee who doesn't quite understand his business or bulbs.
