OReillys, We are very upset with OReillys avoiding our need for settlement of damage to a vehicle caused by a starter purchased at an OReillys store in Plano Texas. The starter overheated and caused a fire that damaged other components on the vehicle. Our customer has been patient for weeks waiting for promised payment to us from OReillys to cover the damage in order for us to make necessary repairs. Our calls for updates on the issue are ignored. Now the customer is retaining a lawyer to get this issue settled. We are trying our best to assure the customer that OReillys will soon come through. But it doesn’t seem to be happening. All our efforts to resolve this through local avenues are stalled even though OReillys people inspected the vehicle and assured us that the cost will be covered. We need your help to expedite this process. It has been several weeks as the vehicle is setting at our shop still. The customer needs the vehicle asap. Please help us with this as we do not know anyone else to contact locally. All the locals appear to be ignoring this. Thank you for anything you can do to get this solved. Tidwell Auto Service.
