I sent my books back before it was time to get an extension fee my books were in ups 12/22 with label and still without my consent my card was charged to different fees for these books and I am demanding a refund because I do no have the books and do not need an extension , it's the holidays and I have a tracking number that the books were sent !!!! So I need my refund of my money

I can't believe it states on there website they will buy your books back but yet when it comes to printing out the shipping labels totally different than to pay you back takes up to 10-15 business days

Worst company ever. Waited on hold an hour to talk to a woman that repeated the same thing over and over again. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY if you want to pass your classes because you will not get your books.
I have received the worst experience ever with Chegg. I was charged today in error for books that I have never received. Chegg has it in there system that I never received the books and admitted it was an error on their part. I sat on hold for 20 minutes and was promised that a supervisor would be contacting me regarding getting my refund expedited. Hours have passed and no one called me I believe 7-10 business days is an extremely long time to wait for a refund when it was an error on Cheggs part. I have bills and other things that cannot be paid now and my bank is charging lots of fees. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. No one can understand my frustration and I would really like to speak to someone in corporate or the CEO regarding the matter.

I am following up our conversation we had at 10:44 CST on 9-23-13 regarding the following as I am in the Legal Enforcement Division of my company and I document all conversations of record;
1) #$## $$$$$$$$ ordered the Book Arriba almost 4 weeks ago and paid fro 3 day shipping
2) She was shipped an empty box
3) She called customer service and was told the book was re-shipped
4) She called customer service again, they apologized and assured her the book was re-shipped AND that her express shipping charge was going to be refunded to her card that she purchased the book with.
5) I called in week three and was assured that the book was being shipped last Wed, 9-18-13 and AGAIN was offered to have Jenna's express shipping charges refunded to her card.
6) Jenna called and spoke with you, Kimberly Felton on 9-19-13 and you assured her that you would contact the warehouse and find out what is going on.
7) On 9-20-13 you sent an email saying that you were still trying to contact the warehouse and would be back in touch as soon as you were able to get an answer.
8) On 9-22-13, Jenna sent the email attached to this email below.
9) I followed up with you as mentioned above at 10:44am cst and was told by you that as of right now, you would have to issue my daughter a refund by check then my daughter would have to re-order the book in order for it to be sent according to your warehouse. You said that you would need to speak with your boss because you did not have the authority to anything more than this. I asked for your Boss' name and was told by you, it is Suzie. I asked for her last name and you said that you were not comfortable in giving that out. I asked to speak with Suzie and you said she was not in today however that you were able to communicate with her yourself.You then assured me that I would hear from you by days end. I asked for you to stay on the line with me while I conferenced in your Corporate Office and you gave me multiple reasons why you didn't want to do that.
10) When I looked up your corporate office, I see multiple complaints and a common denominator that the Corporate Office line is ALWAYS busy and the customer service line directs all of us back to
11) I am requesting in writing that you please contact your Boss, Suzie and have her call me today at###########.
12) I find it unexplainable as to why someone with the proper authority with Chegg cannot facilitate completing my daughters order, which you have had her money for 4 weeks now and have given her multiple excuses by multiple student advocates, and overnight this damn book and get it into her possession by 9-24-13.??????????????? This is simple customer service and any company in the US should be willing to provide this simple solution. I look forward to hearing from Suzie and a rapid resolve.
Chegg.com has continued to keep my credit card information on file after I have asked them not to, they have paid for my books without me asking them to and I am so upset and you are not able to speak to anyone at their corporate office that number is busy, 408-986-8356 and they will send you back to those crazy student advocates that will lie to you and tell you that they don't have a corporate headquarters phone number and they don't know their very own corporate address this is so crazy to me. They have done this to many 10 times already and I am upset today. I have filed a complaint with BBB and Consumer Protection and I am also contacting the office of the President of the US to inform them of what's going on with us student's we don't have any money to have someone pretend that they have the authorization to use my credit account whenever they get ready, they don't have the authority and I have asked them to remove my card off of their files and they told me that they don't keep credit card numbers on file but they do. Someone needs to tell me how did I get a confirmation number in front of eyes without me doing a thing; okay. I know that there are no ghost online making that happen. I am so upset they need to return my money today and remove my information permanently off of their files and to never use my credit card ever again; thanks.
this was my first experience using this company…i normally use amazon…i will never use chegg again…they did not fulfill their obligation to pay me $285.10 for my buybacks which were in excellent shape…instead they only gave $167.11 which there is a balance of $117.99 due to me…i also asked the rep for a printout of what they supposedly had sent amex the rep told me no…i asked may i have it for tax purposes he still said no…so then i asked for a supervisor…he said there is none…so then i asked for corporate number…guess what he said…NO….this is definitely bad business and it will cost you more than $117.99 because negative comments through word of mouth travels very fast…i attend an university that employs over three thousand faculty…so CHEGG will definitely feel it once the word is out….CHEGG is a SCAM!
