General Motors, Worst vehicle ever. 2019 Chevrolet Equinox with 20k miles. All power shuts down while driving but General Motors says nobody has been hurt yet. Also made it clear that I was out of warranty. I’m now the proud owner of a new Nissan and will never buy another General Motors car again. You sell junk and I will tell everyone!

General Motors, EV Truck prices. The EV truck prices all too high. Need to lower price to sell more. If the auto loan is more expensive as the gas bill, then persons won’t buy EV’S. Your Bolt sell good because the price is good. I would like to buy an EV truck but the payment is $900 and that’s a lot of gas. Thank you.

General Motors, Multiple complaints with my 2025 Chevrolet Trac. I’m writing to inform you of the frustration that I have experienced with the way my case #9-14293184270 has been handled and is still not resolved the lack of communication between your customer service representatives is horrendous my complaint has been going on since August and till date no resolution I would like to speak to a supervisor or DVM at this point I am contiplating contacting the department of consumer affairs, BBB And Media.

General Motors GMC Yukon Denali Engine Failure

General Motors, Unlucky Family who bought 2 Yukon Denalis and Both engines Failed. Dear General Motors, For over 30 years, my husband and I have been loyal General Motors vehicle owners. Our most recent experiences are what motivated me to reach out to you in hopes of ‘making this right’. Since Jan 2023, we have owned Two Yukon Denalis which both had engine failures with less than 15,000 miles. We are aware of a National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration investigation into the GM 6.2L engines manufactured from 2019-2024 as a result of these incidents. Bottom Line, we do not feel safe transporting our child in a GM vehicle with the 6.2L engine. Given the recent and future threat to our safety, we request reimbursement of total cost of the purchases of these two vehicles. We are a military family (27 Years total) and were stationed in Fort Wainwright, Alaska from June 2021 to June 2024. On January 13, 2023, we purchased a 2023 Yukon Denali for $97,356 (including a 125,000 mile/8 year warranty for $4,196.30) from Fairbanks Chevrolet GMC. The day we signed the papers to take the car home our brand-new vehicle car battery was dead. The dealership in Fairbanks was very responsive, jumped the battery, and after a thorough inspection released the car into our possession. Over the next two months, the car battery died again and again. The dealership replaced the alternator and the car battery three times. Finally, we learned of a factory recall regarding a faulty electronic module in the tailgate light that was draining the battery. They pulled the fuse and eventually replaced the module. We had no other issues until the week of my Army retirement in June 2024. On June 12, 2024, while driving on the Richardson Highway with my family, the vehicle automatically shifted into neutral and I lost control of the accelerator pedal. I safely changed lanes and pulled over to the shoulder. Once in park, the vehicle never started again. We were stranded on the side of the road until my husband and a tow truck returned to collect my family and tow the vehicle to the Fairbanks dealership. Although I was retiring after 24 years, my husband (Colonel ) is still active duty. We were scheduled to move from Alaska to Virginia in two weeks. The dealership offered to buy back our vehicle for $75,875 (with 18.55% depreciation, not including the warranty) and informed us that they had a 2024 Yukon Denali XL with all the similar packages to our own vehicle. Due to the urgent nature of our pending move, the dealership offered the vehicle to us. On June 13, 2024, we purchased the vehicle for $98,430 and departed Fairbanks on June 29, 2024. On December 21, 2024, my husband and I packed our three daughters and loaded the Yukon Denali XL for a two-week Christmas vacation with our extended families. An hour and a half outside of Birmingham, Alabama the vehicle automatically shifted into neutral where my husband lost control of the accelerator pedal. Thankfully, we were in the right lane and safely navigated to the shoulder. Had we been in the far-left lane of this busy interstate, our family’s safety would have been at significant risk. Once parked, the vehicle never started again. We waited a few hours for a tow truck and family to collect us and all our belongings. It snowed most of the day and was very cold and while waiting for assistance, our car battery died. The vehicle was towed to Royal GMC in Vestavia Hills, Alabama where it now remains. I do not trust that this incident will not happen again. I do not want to risk being stranded alone or with my children on the side of a busy interstate waiting for assistance. I do not feel safe driving this vehicle with another 6.2L engine. I need reliability. Both 6.2L engines were diagnosed as engine failures requiring complete engine replacement. General Motors must accept responsibility for these engine failures and not penalize their customers. I am requesting $119,889.70 (full reimbursement for the 2023 Yukon Denali in the amount of $97,356 and $22,533.70 for the 2024 Yukon XL Denali with trade-in).
