  • Plain and simple, Green Dot Bank and its affiliates are absolutely terrible.I have never had so many problems out of a bank in my life. Talk about pathetic Customer Service, Green Dot Bank is a champion at terrible service and answering the phone. Does Green Dot even have any quality control at all, or do they just hope for the best? When I do get a hold of them I assure everyone I will definitely close my account immediately.

  • walmart fraudulently drained my account, so I cancelled debit card and requested replacement 21 days ago, never received and cannot transfer MY MONEY using routing and account numbers. Agent promised to send second replacement yesterday by fedex and call back today for tracking number. called twice and they do NOT have promised tracking number, did NOT debit my account for $15. as discussed so I'm completely disgusted with maltreatment from ALL parties. MY SSI funds will be sent to this same account and will likely be unavailable to me to pay MARCH obligations. Rotten to the core

  • I've been using GreenDot for years. Someone has charged my card and customer service told me there is nothing they can do about it and Marvin ID# 73300 was very rude and told me that I could not talk to a manager because they are all in a meeting. What a crock. I will no longer be using GreenDot if they cannot make things right!!

  • Can someone from the corporate resolutions team contact me. I have a freeze that was suppose to be lifted off my account by the law firm who sent in documentation requesting the freeze be lifted but here we are several weeks later and the hold is still on my account. Thank you.

    • I'm having the same problem. It takes forever to get a response. I've been waiting over an hour now. I've an expired card and requested a new card and was promised to get it within 2 weeks and now it is a month now that I've not gotten the new card. There is money in my old account and don't have the card to use it and pay for things that is needed during this pandemic. i even got a new card which I want "my money" to be transferd to my new account which i think could be easy to do especially within today's technological advancement. Customer service is in another country which is hard to understand what is being said. People are in need of employment here in the u.s.. I am tired that such a business is making it hard to get my money that I WORKED FOR!!! I AM TIRED OF SUCH B.S.!!!!

    • I have a statement to make. Green dot has scammed me and somehow cut me off from getting through to a real representative. I keep getting the same people that alter their voice they seem to be of the Indian descent and refuse to transfer me to a supervisor. Another number I try calling immeadiatly hangs up. I got some phoney dispute letter after an investigation of a few hours saying they investigates my claim from a merchant that I paid for goods and never received. They said they are not responsible for giving me my money back. I believe it is a third party filling out the claim forms and keeping the money. These same people have answered my calks at Wekka Fargo metabank and netspend as well as hotel rewards programs. They are the same people or family doing this to me for at least the last ten years. My benefits were suppose to be early and now they say not till the first when I know the V.A. sends out payments early that's why they advertise 4 days ahead of time for gov. benefits. I got my Social Security as advertised. But this check is a lot more. I believe they are money laundering. I am trying to contact the CEO and founder but my card they sent me after mine was stolen doesn't even have a number on the back of it and its the same chip pattern on the front of the card that I have had on all my cards from different banks. I want them prosecuted to the dullest extent of the law. They ask for my card number everytime I call and get mad whemni don't give it to them. If anyone has any suggestions let mW know but I even think this org. has my phone hacked so I can't correspond with the Attorney General in my state or the federal one. This has been my whole life for the last ten years of them stealing my government benfita and not returning the funds to my account. I mean like 1000s of dollars. I am tempted to drive to California to their office to resolve these issues because I really don't think that the higher ups even know what their TRUSTED employees are doing to me and who knows who else.

  • I have been a customer since 2000. I am no longer a customer as of today. I made that clear in my phone conversation today. I had repeat delivery and needed to change the delivery date. On 2/7/16 I went online to change the date from the 11th to the 25th of Feb and it wouldn’t let me. I contacted them online and after 60+ minutes of conversation on-line, the person trying to help me couldn’t change the date either. She guaranteed that she would watch for the order and stop it. If she couldn’t stop it, she said she would immediately issue me a refund. Today, Feb 9, 2016 I check my bank account and sure enough, there is a pending charge from Petco. I went online to my Petco account and it shipped Feb 8th. There was no credit pending and the item was in the mail! After spending at least 2 hours of my Sunday trying to change a shipping date, I got no where. On Feb 9th I called customer service. I had to wait 18 minutes before someone answered the line. When they finally answered I explained the entire situation with her. She asked for my phone number and verified my name. She explained their system was down, but I could hear her slowly typing in the background. She cancelled my order and I told her I wanted the ship date to be on the 25th and then every 12 weeks after that. She said “ Ok, now I am going to make your new order” I replied, “This is why I called you in the first place” “I need the order and shipment to be done on the 25th and not now…this is the problem…do you understand?” “umhmm” she said. I told her that I needed the credit to go through immediately. She said that the policy was that I wouldn’t receive my credit for 5-7 business day’s. I asked her why it took so long. It isn’t as if we are not dealing with the bank and the postal service!! She said it was policy. I told her that it would not work and that I wanted what was promised to me on Sunday. She sent an email to her superior and told me I needed to wait 24-48 hours for an approval for the expedited credit. She then told me, “It will take 5-7 day’s for me to see my credit on my account.” What the hell! I told her that she need’s to make them aware that Petco just lost a long-time customer. I asked her if she explained my situation or let upper management know the importance of this, and she said, “no.” She just sent a request for a refund. Why can’t businesses follow through with their promises? Why do I have to waste so much of my time to get a simple task done? I signed up for repeat delivery because I don’t have time, nor do I want to get in my car and pick up a 30# bag of Blue Buffalo dog food. This was supposed to be convenient. Obviously the glitches haven’t been worked out.
