How To File a Complaint With Prudential

Prudential does not publish one complaint telephone number that handles every type of policy, contract, or retirement plan. The following escalation process can help direct a complaint to the appropriate team:

  1. Identify the product, policy, contract, or retirement plan involved.
  2. Call the product-specific service number and request a case or reference number.
  3. Record the representative’s name, date of contact, and promised response time.
  4. Use Prudential’s online complaint form when the initial service team does not resolve the concern.
  5. Send requested documents only through a verified Prudential address, secure portal, or upload method.
  6. If an insurance complaint remains unresolved, consider contacting the insurance department in the state where the policy was issued.

Protect your information: Do not post a Social Security number, policy number, bank information, medical information, login credentials, or other private account details in the public comments. If an unexpected caller or message claims to represent Prudential, end the contact and call a verified number from Prudential’s official website or your current statement.

Information To Have Before Contacting Prudential

  • The policyholder’s or participant’s full name
  • The employer’s name for workplace benefits or retirement plans
  • A brief timeline of earlier calls or correspondence

Prudential Reviews and Complaints

As of August 28, 2026, three visitor reviews are visible on this CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com page. Those comments describe concerns involving online login and website problems, long telephone waits, difficulty reaching the appropriate representative, direct-deposit or account-service issues, and a lack of access to an individual agent.

These comments represent a small, self-selected group and should not be interpreted as a scientific measure of every Prudential customer’s experience. Service can vary depending on the product, issuing company, employer plan, and complexity of the request.

Prudential Frustrating Customer Service Issues

January 26, 2025

Prudential, Do you care at all? I have been a Prudential client for at least 50 years. My parents were Prudential clients also. The last 10ish years have been the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life from any company for any reason. Your online technology operates like it’s from the 90’s. Please please Please stop apologizing for having technical difficulties. Just Fix It! I also have not had an agent for probably 10 years. Too much to explain here.
