Xcel Energy Late Charge Issue

October 18, 2024

Xcel Energy, No Help to Seniors. I’m saddened by this situation. I’m currently waiting for a call from an Xcel Energy supervisor, hoping they can assist, but I understand that rules are rules. However, I need help because I don’t want to keep receiving late charges due to being on a fixed income with Social Security. The policy of only waiving one late fee per year is really hurting me and other seniors. I’m speaking not only for myself, but also on behalf of other seniors who are facing the same issue.
