AutoZone Frustrating Customer Service

AutoZone, computer information is false and/or inaccurate {and isn’t it what they do first}. I went to this store and purchased 24 lug nuts for my car. The salesman looked up the lug nuts per the information I gave him about the car. He even went out and looked at the car. The Computer said this one is the right one. Purchased them, tried to install and they were the wrong size. Had to go back and exchange them. Two days ago I needed a head light. The salesman looked up the headlight based on the info I gave him. He went to the shelf and got the item. I purchased it, took apart the light assembly on my car, and it was not the right one Again!! Had to put the light back together and go back to the store to exchange another item that the Computer says was the right one. What is wrong with your Computer program? Is it not up to date? Do you understand it is giving out the wrong information????? This is unacceptable. I would like an explaination as to why this continues to happen. Spend some money and update the program. How many times has this happened to other people as well as myself? Do you care about the customer experience at your store? If not, I will go directly across the street to O’Reilly’s and see if they have Correct information. I have many auto part stores to choose from. Your store is terrible and I will not shop there until things improve. AutoZone lost this customer!

AutoZone Oldtown ID Pet Issue

AutoZone, Not five stars yet. I do like AutoZone. but I go there to buy parts, not be subjected to an animal daycare. Please inform your employees at the Oldtown Idaho AutoZone to leave their pets at home and wait on their customers in a professional manner. (really bad Auto Zone)

AutoZone Byram MS Disappointing Experience

AutoZone: Inappropriate Employee Behavior I visited the AutoZone in Byram, MS, on 1/24/25 at 9:05 PM and had a troubling experience with two employees. As I approached the sales counter, one employee made comments directly in my face. When I questioned what was said, the situation escalated. The employee threatened me, saying, “Say that again, and I will handle you right here in the store,” followed by, “This is not Walmart; I will handle you right here in AutoZone.” I was the only customer in the store and had never mentioned Walmart during the conversation. After making these threats, the employee asked me what I needed, paused for a moment, and then used a derogatory term. This behavior was completely unprofessional, inappropriate, and uncalled for. I’ve shopped at this location before without issue, but this experience was unacceptable. I urge AutoZone to address this incident and ensure employees treat customers with respect moving forward.

AutoZone Disappointing Warranty Issue

AutoZone, Not honoring warranty on product. I bought a car cover at AutoZone that has a 12 year warranty. The warranty says return to place of purchase for warranty service. The cover has literally disintegrated in a 1 year. I took it back and it was replaced after an argument with the store manager. He told me at first that I had to return it to the manufacturer for warranty service. The manufacturer is in China. Finally I was given another one and it has lasted 1 year and disintegrated like the first one. The AutoZone store manager refuses to replace it this time. The box the cover came in says return to place of purchase for warranty service. I haven’t gotten 12 years of service out of it and think I should receive a replacement or a pro-rated refund.

AutoZone, Brandy best customer service! My son and I went to AutoZone on Leonard Avenue in Grand Rapids MI on Friday and want to say that Brandy helped us. She was super helpful and was the best customer service person I have seen in a long while. I appreciate her and will be a longtime customer to AutoZone because of her. Please pass along my thanks!
