AT&T Disappointing Billing Issue

November 18, 2024

AT&T, Pro-Rated my final bill. After a couple of years of trying to haggle with AT&T to lower my bill for internet and basic cable service/no premium movie channels, I canceled AT&T services on October 28, 2024. AT&T withdrew the full amount of the bill instead of a pro-rated charge from my checking account on November 16, 2024. I called AT&T and spoke to supervisor Tenisha. She was rude, unprofessional and stated AT&T does not pro-rate final bills. If the final billing period was October 16 thru November 16, I paid for 3 weeks of no internet/cable service!

AT&T Disappointing Customer Service

October 22, 2024

AT&T kept sending me notifications suggesting I could save $ by switching from UVerse to Internet Air until I finally took the chance & switched. I returned all equipment & thought all was well as far as balance due. Well, just this week I got an email from Aura, my skippy credit monitoring service, informing me that TU had contacted them re: a collection agency for AT&T, Credence Resource Management, showing up on my report for $147 as.of Oct 13. I was shocked & was convinced it was fraudulent because I didn’t have a clue as to this activity. So,‘I called AT&T Uverse & Bill who was wonderful helped me start a dispute because I was sure I was being “hacked” again. Well, today I returned a call from CRM & was mortified to learn that ungodly AT&T Uverse claimed I owed them $147 & had reported me to TU & their collection agency. I never received any notification of this & finally grew tired of CRM trying to make me agree to paying them when I said that I was fed up w/ AT&T because I was a victim of their stupid data breach w/ Experian & had been living a nightmare ever since by having to change all my personal info & banking accounts & was needing to request a new SS # since mine had shown up on the dark web. So, in closing, I let CRM know that I used to care about my credit reports but at this stage of the game I could care less & if I couldn’t pay cash for something, then I didn’t need it after all. I am willing to let it ride for 7 years because I am sick of AT&T and will be taking my business elsewhere. Amen & amen. 🙏

ATT Internet Access

January 16, 2024

My box for fiber internet is no longer working. It went out on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024. I was told a new modem would be mailed on Wednesday- January 17th. This is totally unacceptable. I have to work from home and can not because of this poor service. If I can drop off a modem at an ATT store, why can’t I pick one up? Too many people work from home now and there needs to be a better option. I can’t go to a public place to use another internet because I work with students whose information can not be made public. Are you going to pay me for my missed days because if your lack of service???? Are you charging me for the days I didn’t have access to the internet???? Get it together ATT.!!!!!

they are scamming me every other month and double charging me and they keep saying it is a glitch in their system and I would understand if it was just one time but for the past year it has been every other month and they are scamming us just so that we can pay for there services also and it is even harder for the ones like me who are retired and on a fixed income

AT&T is filled with Conmen and Swindlers at the Corporate Office in Dallas, Texas

January 4, 2024

This person is named Ruba Jamaluddin, his business card claims that he is an integrated solutions consultant from AT&T, however, it should say that he is a Conman and thief, who showed up at my home on the same day a repairman was fixing an issue with my U-verse. He claimed that he could give my family a better deal than we had with Verizon, however, he lied straight to our faces and once we signed, he was nowhere to be found. He stated that we would receive 3-$200.00 gift cards to help defer the charges that we would owe Verizon for cancellation of our service, all we had to do was to wait till after the 3rd billing cycle and we would receive an email telling us when the cards had been shipped. Well we waited the appropriate amount of time and of course, we heard nothing, after reaching out to him via a phone call, he sent a text message stating that AT&T has credited our account $5.56 per line for 36 months! What a load of crap, Verizon didn’t wait 36 months for their money. Ruba Jamaluddin is so pathetic he didn’t have the guts to call to advise us of this! Once our 36 months are done, we will get away from the crooks at AT&T and never look back.
