Clayton Homes Disappointing Finishing Work

April 7, 2025

Clayton Homes, Incomplete work and no acknowledgment. April 7, 2025. Steve Polen, Clayton Homes of San Angelo 3883 N. Bryant Blvd. San Angelo, Texas 76903 Re: Shower. Dear Steve, Per my attorney I am informing you, one last time about completing the shower. I want this redone and completed by April 21, 2025. That is 2 weeks from today. If work is not completed you have the option to submit to us $10,000, for compensation of work not completed. Per all our contract terms and communication you have failed to complete said job. If you choose to not contact me, we are prepared to take action. I absolutely do not understand why we cannot get this done. And why you can’t just drop me an email as to what the issue is. I believe I have been extremely patient as this shower issue has now been going on for the time we bought the home in March of 2024. Hope to hear from you to clear this up. Sincerely.cc: Clayton Homes Corporate Office Headquarters 5000 Clayton Rd. Maryville, TN 37804

Clayton Homes Disappointing Experience

December 2, 2024

Clayton Homes, My experience with Clayton Homes has been terrible from start to finish. It took multiple attempts to finalize the sales agreement, and I faced constant miscommunication between sales reps and management. Promised features, like a sliding door and septic hookup, were omitted, and I had to fight to get them addressed. Even after moving in, major issues like damaged doors, an incomplete fan, and missing trim remain unresolved, despite repeated requests. It’s been five months, and nothing has been fixed. I’m still owed $2,000, a new tub, and a fridge. The service has been unacceptable, especially after spending over $200,000. If things aren’t resolved soon, I’ll escalate to corporate or take legal action.
