Cracker Barrel Disappointing Customer Service

December 27, 2024

Cracker Barrel, Disappointed in the last 3 visits…in different locations. Dear Cracker Barrel Customer Service ~I am writing to share my disappointment following my recent visit to your Nicholasville KY location (CB0651) on December 23, 2024. My family and I have always enjoyed dining at Cracker Barrel for its reasonably priced, high-quality Southern comfort food, but unfortunately, our experience during this visit left much to be desired. My husband ordered the “Old Timer’s” meal, and we were both shocked by the sausage. It was completely inedible and didn’t even taste like sausage. For a restaurant that has long been celebrated for its authentic Southern cuisine, this was deeply disappointing. For me, the surprise came when I discovered that a country ham plate or platter was No Longer on the menu. Country ham is a staple of Southern cooking and it has always been my go-to meal at Cracker Barrel, paired with pinto beans and coleslaw as my sides. Thankfully, Alexis H., our waitress, went above and beyond to create a similar plate for me, which I truly appreciated. Her exceptional service was the highlight of an otherwise unsatisfactory meal. Additionally, we were puzzled by the seating process. Despite several empty tables, we were told there would be an “approximately 15-minute” wait by the hostess. While the wait wasn’t excessively long, it was confusing and added to our overall dissatisfaction with the visit. Cracker Barrel used to be our favorite restaurant, but this marks the third consecutive disappointing experience in 3 different locations (one location as we were returning home from a family trip outside of Tennessee [8 of us], another at the Danville KY location and now Nicholasville! I hope these concerns are taken seriously and addressed, as we would love to see Cracker Barrel return to the high standards we’ve come to associate with your brand. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to hearing from you.

Cracker Barrel Marana AZ Disappointing

December 24, 2024

Cracker Barrel, Lost pie. I purchased a pecan and pumpkin pie from Cracker Barrel in Marana Arizona. When the pies were picked up and delivered to Mesa Arizona one of the pies was a chocolate pecan pie. I did not order a chocolate pecan pie. I ordered a plain pecan pie. So far the restaurant has refused to replace that pie. They sent me a gift card for a free entree.

Cracker Barrel, I have been a long time customer of Cracker Barrel but due to a situation I read about a Cracker Barrel in Maryland refusal to serve cognitively impaired students I will not be a customer anymore. This was horrible.

Cracker Barrel DeSoto TX Disappointing

November 25, 2024

I stopped at Cracker Barrel in DeSoto, Tx, off of 35, Saturday, November 23. My order was quick and easy, so I thought. I ordered 2 slices of Dr. Pepper cake. Order was placed about 5:15pm, at 5:56pm I still didn’t have my order with no real explanation. I requested a refund and left very upset. The MOD, very unconcerned when brought to his attention. The staff was just a joke. There was one person working the front seems to be fairly new, so her lines were long until I went back by the kitchen area to ask for help for her (Where 3 employees were chatting, laughing and playing). The customer service there is very poor, unprofessional, and totally unacceptable. I will make sure to share this with the residents of DeSoto as well.
