Cracker Barrel Poor Customer Service

September 21, 2024

Cracker Barrel, Whenever my husband and I take a road trip outside of CA, we’d always look for a Cracker Barrel because we know there’d be good food at a reasonable rate. Sadly the past year, and this year in particular, we’ve been very disappointed. Both in St. Augustine FL and Pooler, GA my husband ordered Country Fried Chicken only to find out that the fryer, dedicated to making it was “still broken”, and the Pooler fryer had been broken “for Five Months”. In Pooler I ordered the two piece fish dinner. No fish. Plan B, I ordered a “BLT”, no chicken. We waited. And waited. And waited. Nearly an hour later, my BLT arrived. Dry. I asked for mayo and, surprise, surprise No Mayo! Not even packets! How can a restaurant have No Mayo?!? I realize your new CEO is switching up things but she better keep an eye on on the bottom line because it is Slipping Badly. I, for one, will Not be recommending Cracker Barrel in its present state to my friends, retired or otherwise.

Cracker Barrel, most humiliating and degrading experience at cracker barrel in gurnee. manager is the rudest. and Shannon one of the staff. I did not have a good experience, there was a person named Shannon, with the manager who treated me very rudely, I am a Filipino and both were so very mean and spoke to me in a very condescending manner. both were the meanest person I have encountered in all restawrants in chicago . rudeness on its max, they don’t treat people here with respect. No manners.

Cracker Barrel Animal Policy

Puppy in restaurant. When is it ok for customers to bring puppies into the dining room around other

Customers. I understand service animals, this puppy couldn’t even walk. was cuddled the whole time in the customers arm while she was eating. I will alert everyone I know what to expect when dining at Cracker Barrel. Those customers who own dogs and love them but also know their place as an animal. Since when is this ok?

Cracker Barrel Gift Card Not Honored

January 10, 2024

I purchased a gift card in October 2023 for a dear friend in honor of her 80th birthday. I had not seen her in several years and had an old email. I corrected my mistake and forwarded the new gift card to her. When she and her husband went to use it she was told it could not be honored. I contacted customer service, the manager of the cracker barrel she wanted to use it at, and even corporate headquarters. It is now January 10, 2024, and I still have not received the promised return call regarding this issue.

Cracker Barrel HQ - Late Order and Disrespectful Treatment

January 5, 2024

I made an order last night to be ready by 7:30 am today at the Cracker Barrel on Cedar Creek Rd. Fayetteville, NC. The order was over 20 minutes late and during my wait time, I asked to speak with the manager. The location manager was rude and unprofessional asking do you just wanted a refund or still wanted the order. The manager then said the pineapple was bad so she asked do you wanted a refund. The location manager then said to me do you want to eat bad pineapple. I then said I didn’t want the pineapple and I could just get the rest of my order. The manager said well I just cut up a new pineapple. Again the manager asked if I wanted a refund and I said no, I wanted my order, and the manager then said well it’s not ready. Sales associate Racheal witnessed this unprofessional behavior by the manager. This order was for an office manager’s meeting for accountability and responsibility and this caused me to be late for the office manager’s meeting. This meal cost 130 dollars and it was put in last night and should’ve been a priority for your staff. I also advised the location manager that this meal was for a manager’s meeting and that I was going to be late. My family and I will no longer be going to the Cracker Barrel location on Cedar Creek Rd in Fayetteville, NC due to unprofessional behavior by the location manager. We have never had any issues at your Skibo Rd. location in Fayetteville, NC, or the Dunn, NC location. We have multiple issues with Cedar Creek Rd. Fayetteville, NC location over the past year. This location used to be our favorite location and it’s only 10 miles from our house. Over the past twenty years, this location has had great managers who always made themselves available and always went out of their way to be professional to the customers. This situation needs to be addressed immediately.
