  • My husband and I went to the Dennys located in Temple Tx. We were promptly seated then totally ignored. No one ever came to even get our drink order. Three tables ere seated after us and all were promptly waited on. It’s like we were invisible. It’s really sad because we were hoping to give a waitress there a very nice tip since our daughters are also waitresses and we know how much they rely on their tips. After 15 min. Of waiting and being ignored we left.

  • ON MAY 14TH WE VISITED THE DENNYS ON 16TH ST. IN YUMA AZ ITS THE ONLY DENNYS IN YUMA AND WE HAD A GROUP OF 6 THE LADY WAS A GREAT SERVER BUT THE PLACE WAS ICE COLD,BY THE TIME YOU COULD FINISH YOUR FOOD IT WAS ICE COLD AND THE HOT COFFEE BECAME ICE TEA ,I EVEN ASK THE WAITRESS FOR A BLANKET SO I COULD PUT OVER MYSELF WHY I ATE ,NO LUCK I ASKED FOR A MANAGER , WITH NO LUCK WE JUST,TRYED TO HURRY UP SO WE COULD GET OUT OF THERE,WE WILL NOT VISIT THERE ANY MORE DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO PUT A COMFORTABLE TEMPERATURE ,WE WILL GO TO IHOP OR CRAKER BARREL UNTIL THE COLD WEATHER STARTS IN YUMA AZ IN LATE OCTOBER.

  • Took my cousin to Denny's for her birthday lunch (but before I start I eat at Dennys at lease once or twice a month I love the food and the place) This occurred 04/26/22 when we entered the restaurant the floor appeared to be wet, we thought that perhaps some one has spilled something. After we sat down and placed our order there was a woman spraying the floor with water then scrubbing the floor with what appeared to be a stiff bristled barn broom and then she was running a scrubbing machine (not sure about that but it was a machine) not only was this loud it was very annoying I guess my question on this matter is could this not be done at the 11pm to 7am shift.?

  • I have been going to Dennys at the Flying J truck stop for years. Up to this point, I have received excellent service, and the staff was friendly. But lately the service has been horrible and the different waitresses that are now there are rude and ignore you till you say something. This is not the Dennys I knew and loved. Something has got to be done to change this.

  • Dennys in Shenandoah, TX 28669 I-45 North
My wife and I enter Denny’s and wait to be seated. Shortly after, a man appearing to be in his 50’s wearing an untucked polo shirt hanging sloppily down to his hips approaches, stops to face us and says absolutely nothing. I’m only guessing, but based on his attire, he may be the manager or a shift supervisor of some sort, not a waiter. So now we are all facing each other, I decide to say “Good morning” because it’s obvious he wants us to be the first to speak. He then says “Two?” and adds “Good morning…”. After we confirm it’s just two of us, there is a very long awkward pause followed by the man saying something to the effect of “I have to think where I sat the last person(s)”, he then gestures for us to follow him. We follow him to an area where he stops, turns around and holds his arms out without saying one word. I am assuming he is trying to let us know we are free to choose any of the available seating around him, table or booth. We chose the booth and proceed to sit, however as I’m about to sit, he leans toward me and asks “what does your shirt say in the back?”. I turn my body slightly to show him and I say “Where America’s Day Begins”, the man produces a disapproving smirk, which I can only guess means he is not impressed. It is noteworthy to mention that I am wearing a T-shirt that says “Guam U.S.A.” in the front, with a design and words in the back that say “Where America’s Day Begins”. The man then says something to the effect of “I’m surprised that even shows up on a map”, to which I respond, “yeah, it’s a pretty important island”. The man responds back: “I would think that other place somewhere below Florida, what is it called….?” To which I interject “Guantanamo Bay?”, he says “yes, I would think that is more important”. At this point, I have no idea how to react, I don’t know if this person is just completely clueless, but I then respond with “They have a lot of military bases on Guam”. His response to this was a rushed “yes, yes….”, indicating he knows this. The exchange was already insulting, awkward and unpleasant, I did not know where this guy is trying to go with this comments. Perhaps he sensed I was feeling annoyed at this point and somehow ended the dialogue with something like “ok, well enjoy your meal….” or some other basic phrase I can’t recall in order to wrap up the conversation and be on his way.
My wife and I sat there astonished, disgusted and shocked. My wife asked “do you want to eat somewhere else?” I turned my head back and looked to see where the man was, he was a distance away, possibly preparing to sit other guests. However he glanced over at me, it was apparent that he was still very aware of my presence or curious about me for whatever reason, our eyes met, he lifted one hand with palm facing up as if to say “yes? What’s up?”, I didn’t say anything, he then gestures with a thumbs up as if to say “everything good?”. At this point I’m wondering what in the world is going on with the guy. I turn to my wife and tell her we need to leave. As I walk past him, he says “is something wrong?”, I ignored him and we left.
Please know the following: My father is from Guam, he is part of the indigenous population of this U.S. territory and served in the U.S. Army with a tour in Vietnam. Many of Guam’s residents currently serve in the military and countless others are veterans. I was born on Guam and lived there for 20 years of my life. Why is an employee of this restaurant insulting me with condescending, ignorant and rude remarks about the island I come from? I did not want to cause a scene, but I was fuming inside, this is absolutely unacceptable behavior from an employee of a recognized establishment, much less a manager/supervisor. I have gone to this restaurant many times before, not so much in recent months, but will no longer be dining here.

  • Working at the Denny's in Garland Tx. on 457 West I30 Everybody works on every body cash register. Wish I think is wrong. When register comes up short The manger Lee fires the new people. The reason why they fired the new people because they think we don't know they the ones sealing.I know from working at fast food restaurant that you work on your on register and you have a code to put in your register when you get on or of it. Poor manger skills. Setting up new works saying they stealing. That is why their are very few Dennys left. Yes discrimination. That is why the ones in South Louisiana close all them down and got sued.

  • Third visit to denny's within the last few months and this was the worst of the worst. We arrived at 9:30 am and no one offered us coffee for about 15 minutes. Then after placing our order and waiting until 10:20 am did pieces of our breakfast start to arrive. Waitress delivered pancakes and waffle and said we would get the rest when ever it came up? No syrup, no eggs or bacon just cold pancakes & waffle the rest of us nothing. Another 10 minutes still nothing. Funny that people who came in after us seem to get coffee and food before us. The managers seem to play favorites towards the Hispanic customers. Discrimination against the Caucasian could this be? The waitress asked the mangers to speak to us, one did not and turned his back the other told my sister he would discount the our meals (5 of us). We never got the rest of our meal and just brushed us off. We told him that we were not waiting for our meal and took our busy else where. This Denny's is under staffed and has poor Managers and yes discrimination.

  • I have eaten at several Denny's in the Dallas, Texas area and each had a display of the Credit Cards used at the entrance. Included is Union Pay, a card I carry. When I tried to use it to check out, I have always been refused as it is unknown to the staff I talked to, or the manager on duty. Please respond to the meaning of seemingly accepting the card, but not actually doing so. aceremod@hotmail.com

  • dennys located at 11891 whittier blvd whittier ca 562 908 2390 is a really bad representation of the dennys brand. we have lived here in whittier for three years and have visited this dennys a couple of times, first it started off with slow unpleasant assistance, this time the assistance was pleasant and prompt the facility is dirty dirty and more dirty. food department needs to pay this location a visit to inspect cleanliness I guarantee it would fail.

  • Saturday Oct 7th 2017 I had gone to Panama City FL to pick up my Aunt and evacuate her from the Hurricane Nate path. We stopped just down the street at the Denny's on Martin Luther King St. I love the grand slam breakfast and my wife loves the skillets. The meal was great but service was lacking with the only table check after being served was to drop off the bill. They were busy and we were in a hurry so I wasn't upset. While waiting to pay for our meals the cashier seemed irritated and to complicate things my hearing aid batteries had dies during our meal. I am a 62 year old retired Army veteran that lost 70% of my hearing while serving our country. As I handed the cashier my bill a waitress came up to the cashier and they started talking. The normal response from a cashier should have been "how was your meal", instead I quoted the bill charge. I said fine and handed her my debit card. She rolled her eyes and said swipe your card pointing to a small machine and went back to talking to the waitress. I swiped my card and waited patiently. After about 5 minutes she turned back to me asked if I swiped my card I told her yes. She asked me something and I didn't hear her and asked her to repeat herself. She rolled her eyes again and said let me see your card. She looked and said it had a chip on it so I had to insert the card in the front of the machine. I did she punched a couple numbers on the register, pointed to the machine and directed me to hit approve. I did and then she directed me to sign my name on the machine so I did that as well. A couple seconds latter my receipt was printed and she just handed it to me and said next. That night after getting home I took out my receipt to add the amount into my bank book. That is when I noticed that the cashier and waitress had added a $330 dollar gratuity to my bill. Thinking this was just a mistake and it was already late I decided to wait until morning to call them. The phone number is on the receipt so it was easy to do however the response was not what I expected. I was talking with the manager and she told me there was nothing she could do an that I would have to go through my bank to change anything. This is untrue, all she needed to do was turn the machine over, call the number on the back and tell them there was a mistake on my charge and have that ridiculous 1000% gratuity charge removed. Instead she became very angry with me and spoke loudly, I said there is nothing I can do and hung up on me. I have since reported this to my bank and reporting it as fraud. I am now in the belief that this was a money scam purposely perpetrated by the cashier, waitress and manager. There is no telling how many other unsuspecting customers they have done this to. I hope Denny's management reacts to this quickly because these crooks should be jailed for fraud or theft by deception!

  • WE STOPPED AT A DENNY'S ON I-71 SOUTH OF COLUMBUS, THERE IS ALSO A FLYING J THERE WE WENT INTO DENNY'S FOR BREAKFAST. MY WIFES ORDER WAS MESSED UP, I WAS NOT OFFERED A 2ND CUP OF COFFEE UNTIL BREAKFAST WAS FINISHED. MY WIFE AND GRANDSON WAS NOT OFFERED A 2ND DRINK UNTIL BREAKFAST WAS OVER. THEY DID NOT BRING THE JUICE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO GET LONG WAIT TO GET WAITED ON I THINK SOMEONE NEEDS TO GO AND TRAIN THE PERSONNEL AT THIS LOCATION, THEY DO NOT HAVE THEIR DUCKS IN A ROW. I WILL GIVE IT 1 MORE CHANCE, IF NOT ANY BETTER NEXT TIME WE WILL NEVER RETURN

  • The restaurant in Selinsgrove. PA needs some reorganization, They schedule people double shifts have them come in for one shift instead of a 4 hour shift it ends up 1 hour and a half then expect them to come back in for their next shift and if they aren't busy send them home after an hour and a half again. Some of them don't drive and are brought to work by parents and don't have all day to be running back and forth while they juggle their own jobs in order to get them to work, manager is very rude, ignorant, can't schedule employees and doesn't know what respecting your employees is all about. This store needs help with training managers, assistant managers, how to schedule, work with employees, and do their jobs correctly.

  • Denny's Pecos Texas…It is so dirty that I will never go back. I took pictures and would like to post it but apparently I cannot attach. The outside entry welcomed us with dirty cement, pieces of trash all around, and 2 bags of trash sitting beside the trash cans. No maintenance crew in sight so not sure how long they had been sitting there. Entryway floor of restaurant was filthy and just looking around, everything looked dirty. I wondered how clean the kitchen could be if the entrance looked that bad. Food was barely tolerable, the pancakes were good, but the rest of the meal was not. Corporate needs to check on this restaurant because of the appearance!

  • After many years of NOT liking Dennys we moved to Fallbrook Ca. Being a small town there are not many places to eat. WHAT a surprise when he got our food…it was VERY good. That was 9 years ago and I'm sad to say something has happened in the last year. The last 4-5 times the food has been pretty bad. Warm limp lettuce in the salad, lukewarm potatoes and/or gravy. Vegetable that tasted like they were sitting in the steamer for hours or sautéed for too long. Whatever the cause PLEASE FIX IT!!! The restaurant used to be packed most of the time, now it is so-so most of the time except for Sunday mornings. PLEASE DENNYS CORP, look into it…

  • I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH HORRIBLE WAIT STAFF IN A LONG TIME. WE ARRIVED AT THE DENNYS ON BITTERS/281 NORTH IN SAN ANTONIO TX AND WERE ASKED TO WAIT A FEW UNTIL TABLE WAS READY, IN THAT TIME PEOPLE WERE BEING SEATED AFTER WE CAME IN AND WERE NOT ACKNOWLEDGED UNTIL 7 MIN LATER. AS WE WALKED TO GET SEATED TO THE BACK RIGHT SIDE OF THE RESTAURANT HE SAT US AT A DIRTY TABLE THAT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED AND THE WAITRESS CAME PLACING MENUS ON TABLE AND WALKED AWAY, I GOT UP TO GO GET SOME TOWELS FROM LADIES ROOM TO WIPE DOWN THE TABLE AND AS I WAS DOING SO SHE CAME (HEATHER) TO OUR TABLE AND ASKED WHAT WE WANTED TO DRINK, NEVER ASKING THAT TO LET HER TAKE CARE OF CLEANING TABLE OR HAVE HER BUSBOY TAKE CARE OF IT SO I PROCEEDED TO CLEAN AS SHE TOOK DRINK ORDERS. SHE BROUGHT US OUR DRINKS AND TOOK OUR ORDER AND MY DAUGHTER GAD ASKED FOR WATER BUT WAS NEVER RECEIVED UNTIL ASKING A 3RD TIME. WE WAITED FOR OUR FOOD FOR A WHILE AND IN THAT TIME WE SAW WAITRESS (HEATHER) EATING FOOD AS SHE WAS COMING OUT FROM BACK OF KITCHEN SEVERAL TIMES WITH FOOD IN HER MOUTH. WE FINALLY RECEIVED OUR FOOD WHICH WAS VERY COLD AND NEVER DID SHE COME TO OUR TABLE FOR REFILLS ON ANY DRINKS. SHE FINALLY ATTEMPTED TO COME TO OUR TABLE AND ASKED HOW THINGS WERE AND WE ANSWERED WITH THE FOOD WAS REALLY COLD AND WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER, SHE STATED SHE WOULD LET HIM KNOW AND MY DAUGHTER ASKED TO SPEAK WITH HIM. HE (MITCH) CAME TO TABLE WE'VE EXPLAINED OUR WHOLE VISIT FROM WALKING IN TO WAITING TO GETTING A DIRTY TABLE, COLD FOOD, NO REFILLS, NO WATER AND JUST HORRIBLE SERVICE. HE REPLIED WITH HIS APOLOGY AND SAID HE WOULD GIVE US A DISCOUNT ON FOOD WHICH WAS $60.30 AND SAID HE CAN DISCOUNT TO $49.54, AFTER ARGUING ABOUT SERVICE WE STILL HAD TO PAY $40.00. IN THE TIME WE WERE AR COUNTER TRYING TO DISCUSS WHAT HAD HAPPENED THE WAITRESS (HEATHER) WAS STILL TALKING MESS TO OTHER COWORKERS ABOUT MY FAMILY AND LAUGHING ABOUT THE WHILE ORDEAL AT THAT TIME I WAS VERY UPSET AND YELLED AT HER THAT SHE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND IF I HAD THE CHANCE I WOULD SMASH A PANCAKE IN HER FACE, SHE THEN REPLIED WITH SHE GOT OFF WORK AT 8PM. THE MANAGER NEVER STEPPED IN TO ASK HER TO LET IT GO OR TO GET TO BACK OF STORE TO CALM DOWN WHICH I THINK WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL OF HIM HAVING SOMEONE WORK IN HIS STORE WHICH SUCH UGLY ATTITUDE AND BAD SERVICE. I WILL NEVER VISIT THAT STORE AGAIN AND WILL NOT ENCOURAGE ANYONE TO SIT AND DINE AT THIS STORE.

  • The restaurant at 25 W. Irlo Bronson Blvd (hwy 192) "Gateway to Disney), is the nastiest restaurant in this area…Granted I will give you the fact that it is probably the first Denny's when WDW opened in Orlando, but my guess is it has the same carpet from the stat..walls have plaster breaking off….lord only knows when it was last painted, the staff is so-so. Have no idea who the manager is now. We love to eat at Denny's, we have one only 5 minutes from our house and moved here 6 yrs ago and that was our to go to restaurant when in doubt what we wanted to eat because there is such varity. We have not been in this one for about a year now, mostly go to Perkins on US 192, which is further away…did go to Dennys on US 27 this week for the first time….it was very refreshing, neat, clean and friendly. Something needs to be done with the Denny's I referenced. Needs to have the health dept. there and that maybe my next call. Please look into this..this area is building up so fast and more restaurants are moving in and this Denny's is not doing the business the other stores are doing..Please pay attention to the public we do know what we like and what we expect from businesses.. Thank you for anything you can do to change this.

  • Please have the manager at your Marion, Ohio location fix the exterior signs so they illuminate at night. People pass them up as it looks like they are closed. Also, I was there last night, the food was great and Amber was a fantastic waitress.

  • First let me state that My husband and I have always loved Denny's and your menu, especially the value menu as we are on a fixed income. We have been frequent customers at your Roseburg, OR. restaurant for many years and have noticed that the service has been getting worse with every passing year at this location. The managers allow certain waitresses to yell at customers and fellow employees, the worst one is named Michelle. We have even watched as she told off the manager "what she thought he could do with that" when he asks her to clear a table, the manager just turned his back and walked away, any other business would have told that waitress to collect her things and clock out, yet on our next visit we see she is still there and nothing has changed! "My husband won't even come into the restaurant now if he see's through the window that she is working." I would like to say she is the only "problem worker" but sadly no. However we do like Karen and Cathy and ask for them if we see they are working. Please advise your managers at this location to NOT allow these employees to walk all over them and to respect the customers. Thank You.

  • I forgot to mention in my earlier comments about how dusty the window blinds are at our Denny's – #8731 Haines City, Florida. You could literally write your name on the slats and there are 'dust bunnies' forming as you look up from your food! I think they need to improve general cleaning practices throughout the restaurant!

  • We have been to the Dennys on hwy 62 in twentynine palms california several times and by far this is the absolute worst restraunt and staff I have ever experienced. The staff is never accurate. They have no clue what they are even doing. The manager has not a clue as to how to run a restraunt! We went in there tonight and waited over 15 min to even get seated when they had empty tables because the manager did not want to do anything and either server was interested in being seated so to get to the time they wanted they made everyone at the door wait til they wanted to be sat. Once seated it took the server 20 minutes to even come get our drink order. When taking our drink order we were obviously ready to order and gave drink order and god order at the same time. 15 minutes later we get half our drink order and absolutely no silverware for making coffee. There was no sugar or creamer and had to ask for it. Never got that or silverware at all. By the time the food order came 40 minutes later, still no silverware the server couldn't even get the order right. Three orders were wrong and he completely didn't even put my daughters order in. He leaves still no silverware or anything else we tried to ask for. Get up because thay was way beyond enough and the manager tried to act like she was too busy to do anything and told me to wait. So by then my kids are beyond hungry and tired and we were pissed so we got up and walked out. We were not the only ones to do so. 6 other tables got up and left due to absolutely poor service. We haven't gone back to this Dennys in a long time due to every single server they have had but one has absolutely no clue what to do in a restaurant and lack of training and or give a damn about customers or the fact they represent a company is absolutely pathetic. Their managers thay are there do not care either. This time we tried to go back since it was what was open and to try to give it another chance. It has been bot worth a try. You honestly get better service going into the local mcdonalds than you would ever get here. Waste of time and money to even drive here. I have managed several restraunts and have been a trainer and server to the same locations and this would not of been accepted from anyone who would of ever of worked for me and I do not understand how the corporate office could accept this as a standard of their company name. There is 7 steps to service and they do none of them. Their manager tonight wasn't even qualified to be a hostess at a lesser restraunt. She asked people coming in to take paper and write their names on them as if it was a raffle. One of the other servers never washed her hands and kept touching her hair and her face. I have left when I seen another server a separate time put her hands in the lettuce after cleaning a table and never washing them! I would recommend anyone to stay as far away from this restraunt. I would also recommend the corporate office come down unannounced with someone they don't recognize and see how terrible this place is. I am also reporting this to the health board for their cleanliness of the restraunt. If this is how they work I am sure cleaning is another horrible up kept standard all together. Discussed completely with Dennys.

  • Denny's in Paris Texas. We have been there several times. Food never cooked done or like you asked for it to be cooked. Sent my food back 2 times once when I was in there and they never got it right so I just did not eat. Food is never hot, just barely warm when brought to you. Any of the food always taste horrible. Taste of the gravy and grits is really bad, bad, bad. I ordered grits once and took one bite and there was no way I would eat them they were so bad tasting. I told the waitress & the person that checked us out and they would not even do anything about it. They should have taken the amount for the grits off my bill, but nooooo. We went this morning to Denny's because the place we were going to go to was closed for spring cleaning. The person with me ordered oatmeal and (name)had to add lots of other stuff to them before (name) could even eat them and again the food was not hot or good. Also, 2 times when we have been in there, this one employee, who is a friend of both of us….the first time we were waiting to be seated and she comes in to go to work…she says hi (name)and how are you, but just ignored me. Today, we walk up to be checked out, the same lady…speaks to (name)and ignored me again. I was telling (name) about it so both employees working the check out could hear me. They have just lost 2 customers!!!!!

  • We went to a Dennys at the Pilot in Madera,CA on 99 service was slow. Place had lots of setting but it took a long time to be seated our food was burnt and my eggs was not fixed right at all. It took at least 10 mins. for the waitress to come to our table to take the drink order after she said she would be back in a min. it took so long for her to come back that I already new what I wanted it normally takes me 30 mins. for me to figure out what I want to eat.we already decided that we not going back there to eat again we both have been in the restaurant business so we look at a lot of things not just one.

  • The Crystal River, Fl. store, having just been renovated, did nothing to stop cockroaches from checking for leftovers.. Jan. 27th, about 8:30 pm, my friend and I had just finished our meals when a roach came off the wall and on to the table. I nailed it with a napkin and told the waitress. I also asked to see management but no one came to the table but the checks were delivered within moments.
I asked again about the manager and she stated she had informed him. After another 5 minutes, we went to the register and the waitress finally got the manager to come out from the cook station. I still had the critter wrapped in the napkin and complained again to him. He was SOOO not interested and took our money almost without acknowledging what had happened.
My friend was on a visit from out of town and I just relocated here permanently so I informed the manager because of lack of concern, I will not be back for sometime. My 1 or 2 visits per week might not seem like much BUT, my Brother, his wife and their son and his wife, my neighbors and their friends will know how I was treated because I will TELL THEM.
There's not a lot of competition here for your style of restaurant so if the company can afford to be so cavalier, I will also. Sure, I'll burn the extra gas and time to go elsewhere because I can, but after eating at Denny's all over the south, I've had my last meal there..

  • Denny's in Sanford, Florida is going to continue to lose money. The reason why customers are walking out without paying the tab is because some servers aren't meeting the customers needs such as asking them how are they doing; how's the food; would you like a refill; or even periodically smiling at their customers so that the customer service and satisfaction are met.
I'm commenting here because I am not being acknowledged but only once and I've been sitting here for well over a half hour at the Sanford, Florida Denny's Restaurant. I hate to admit it but I did not pay for the meal I consumed. I apologize for the none payment. Next time I'm going to IHOP.

  • Dennys in Queensbury, New York is getting worse. They have one steady manager who pretty much does everything. The servers talk about how bad the place is where we all can hear them. You can hear staff swearing even though they are out of sight. We have walked out because of server had a attitude because she was having a bad day.The restaurant was a good nice clean place to eat.Now tables stay dirty bathrooms dirty, hashbroowns not cooked all the way The list can go on.Now they are complaining about how come good people quit.Well we see why and hear why. It's not nice.We won't be going back again if you just visit you will see and hear everything.

  • There is a server at the Denny's in Ithaca, N.Y. that is the most wonderful woman. She greets us with a smile every time. If there is an issue and someone else is waiting on us, she always comes to there rescue and fixes it. I don't know why she is not part of there management team, but she is simply the best. Crystal F. deserves a promotion to say the least….

  • Denny's Corp.,needs to get away from franchise ownership if they want to improve quality and service, I used to work for franchise owner who turned over the restaurant to his daughter who, used it as her personal bank account for herself and her GM boyfriend here in Tucson,Az.,eventually both locations shutdown and still are empty today.

I AM WRITING AN UNFAVORABLE REVIEW FOR THE DENNY'S ON NICHOLASVILLE RD STORE IN LEXINGTON KY. THE SERVICE FROM MANAGEMENT WAS HORRIFIC!!!!!!!! ANGIE WAS THE MANAGER AND SHE HAS THE ETHICS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS OF SOMEONE WHO IS TRYING TO KEEP PEOPLE OUT RATHER THAN TO INCREASE BUSINESS. IN BRIEF IT WAS VETERANS DAY AND DENNY'S WAS OFFERING A FREE GRAND SLAM, MY OFFICE CALLED AND WE WERE TOLD THEY WOULD BE OFFERING THIS UNTIL 12:00 MIDNIGHT. WHEN WE ARRIVED BRANDON WAS THE HOST ON DUTY AND WAS POLITE. HE TOLD ME I HAD 35 MINUTES LEFT ON THE SPECIAL AND BEGIN TAKING MY ORDER. DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES THE REGISTER WOULD NOT ACCEPT THE COUPON AND ANOTHER PERSON WAS CALLED TO HELP FIX THE PROBLEM. TO NO AVAIL!! THIS IS WHERE THE STORY TURNS FROM BAD TO WORST EVER, HERE COMES ANGIE-STORE MANAGER, WHO TELLS ME THE PROMO WAS OVER AND IT WAS OVER AT 12NOON. I TOLD HER THAT MY OFFICE CALLED AND SOMEONE SAID STATED US DIFFERENT HOURS. SHE IMMEDIATELY BECAME IGNORANT AND IRATE SO I TOLD HER THIS CONVERSATION WAS OVER AND TO GO TO GOLDEN CORRAL "THEY ARE GIVING AWAY FREE FOOD" MIND YOU I AM A VETERAN AND A LOCAL MINISTER HERE IN LEXINGTON. I TOLD HER SHE WAS BEING RECORDED AND SHE TOLD ME TO GET MY BLACK ASS OUT OF HER STORE AND SHE WAS CALLING THE POLICE! NEVER HAVE I DEALT WITH SUCH IGNORANCE

  • If there were negitive stars i would give petaluma Ca denny's a -10
I had a waiter named Christian who was the rudest waiter i have ever encountered.
We asked for ranch and he gives us one cup, (for 3adults and 1child) we asked for more he said "ok" and brought a little tiny cup, then said he thought that was enough for us, if we had more he would have to charge. We ate our food and not only did he NOT check in with us on how we were doing, we sat there for 25mins obviously done waiting for our check. He messed up our order, charged us for a side salad for my 3yo, and fought to give us our .99 cent side salad (i asked to talk to his supervisor, he said he/she wasnt there, i asked if he could call, No was the answer, i then told him i will call the police, which he then decieded to give me my salad.) At checkout he did the loudest grunt(the kind my dog makes) and im sure the whole restraunt heard him. BEWARE, dont go here unless you are starving. Even then, go to ihop down the street

There is no polite way to put this, YOU ARE PRONOUNCING IT IN THE VASTLY CONSIDERED INCORRECT AND VASTLY UNPREFERRED WAY AND SOUND LIKE AN A$$!!!!!

It's NOT-NOT-NOT a Pee can!!!!! It is NOT-NOT-NOT a can to pee in, it does NOT-NOT-NOT have a short 'a'!!! The 'k' gives it the sound of 'con'!!! Some places may say eating a pee can is acceptable but I will NEVER eat at Denny's again simply because you sound like idiots when you say that, and it is EXTREMELY disgusting to think of eating something someone PEED in.

  • The Denny's in niagara falls ny on niagara falls blvd have issues:
    1. Poorly trained Managers almost have GM staff knows his his management key numbers
    2. Poorly clean kitchen
    3. Snippy Servers
A Regional Manager or Director must fix this issue. Its in a good location and I'm sure makes alot of money. But the service is horrible. If this continues Denny's will have a nightmare on its hands. PLease corporate office have someone fix this issue immediately !! No longer be affiliated with a corporation that has this type of issue as I was employee to witness all the above store number 8118 or 8018 in Niagara Falls New York

  • Hi worked for Dennys in north charleston sc they are not a good place to work I bust my ass at this job and I got fired for no reason

  • I wonder if corporate office reads any of these comments or if they actually do anything about it but my complaint is with the Denny's on Lewers St., Waikiki, Oahu. As we love that Denny's and all the employees they have been without an air conditioner for over a year now. What the heck? During the summer heat and humidity you can not run a store without air yet that is what is happening. The cooks are in a kitchen at over 100 degrees and servers are exhausted in the heat. Customers sitting fanning themselves. What kind of way is that to do business. Who sees over managment/owners? Where and who do I go to make sure the issue is solved?

    • Corporates objective is of course, it's "Stock" products. Unfortunately, since Denny's is a franchise, air conditioning is considered part of a "Franchise-Owner's" operating expense and not a Corporate concern.

  • We often eat at the Airport Rd. Denny's in Jackson MI 49201 and I've noticed that you have installed two very nice benches out front. It would be VERY NICE if you would also install a bicycle rack. There are lot of people that bicycle in Jackson, many are members of the local Cascades Cycling Club. There are the S-shaped racks that are fairly inconspicuous. However, I believe something a little more Art Deco is more in Jackson's nature as we have many historical landmarks (buildings and parks) and is a popular vacation destination (Jackson County Fair, Civil War Muster, Hot Air Jubilee). Being located just off I-94 at exit 137 across from Meijer Thrifty Acres, and within walking distance to two shopping centers: Jackson Mall (2.3 mi.) and Jackson Crossing (1.32 mi.). So I believe it would be in your best interest to authorize the placement of a bicycle rack in front of the Airport Rd. Denny's to make it a little more people friendly. Thank you.

  • I know this person who work as a Manager in one of your restaurants in Orlando, FL. I know him for a long time, he had a friend which is my neighbor she always telling me that he is bringing thing to her from the restaurant, like handi wipes, frying pan, pan and other kitchen things, the last time I know he was working in the restaurant that is on Semoran Blvd. Orlando FL. I don't think you have honest Manager in your restaurant you should have some precautions like putting hidden cameras all over the place in your restaurant even inside of the Manager office because they can still money because it is lot of cash that is handle inside of the restaurant. I use to work in restaurant as a waitress and I know how and what Managers can do, that is why I not working in restaurants anymore, I don't like to see how people can be so dishonest and you have to shut your mouth because if you say something they know is you, so they will fire you, when you really need a job and struggle to have a job. Your company should put some hidden camera to avoid have this kind of people on your company, where they are ripping you off because you are a big company and you have money so you are not loosing anything.

  • I been goin to dennys with my family on 1525 McHenry ave modesto ca for many many years everything has change there they are always out of their products always short staff. The last time I went in my server Alondra as it shows in my ticket very rude she wasn't attentive to us I asked her for a refill on my coke never gave me one I wasn't satisfied so I asked to speak to the manager the lady manager came as I was telling get what had happend like she didn't care all she said was "She's a really good server" I'm never going back.

  • I'm here at this dennys in florida and i agree with the person writing above, the music is absurd, no one likes it and no one wants to listen to it but the manager forces us to listen to it and not change it. the dennys on beach and hodges in florida is no fun due to the loud music and style of music.

  • I am in a Dennys in jacksonville florida specifically on beach blvd. and hodges store #8008 as its written on my reciept. store number 904-223-0395 I cannot enjoy my food here. The music is too loud and completely wrong for this setting. i ask people to turn it down, its too loud and they tell me the manager says that if anyone touches to music they are fired. The music style seems to be something chosen by the store manager and the type of music seems to be something that no one here likes accept what evermanager is forcing us to listen to this garbage. The customers dont like it, the employees dont like it and its also still too loud, i feel i need to shout at the person sitting across from me, not to mention the fact that when the waiter told me that he is forcing us to listen to this style of music it made me feel worse. Does anyone care about the comfort zones of customers while eating. i guess i need to find somewhere else to eat, say good by to my favorite sandwich, moons over my hammy and all that stuff due to the loud music and music style which are both awful i will be moving on to other places, way to loose a customer DENNYS manager way to loose a customer and make all the customers hate you for forcing us to listen to this ridiculous music.

  • My husband and I went to Denny's in Calumet City, Illinois for lunch. I ordered the fit slam, but instead of English muffins I ordered wheat toast. I also ordered hash browns with onions and pancakes. After waiting an hour for our meal, I realized that my toast was toast that had been eaten by someone else. I had four pieces of half toasts that was stacked on top of one another. The last two pieces of toast, one was torn in half, not by me and the very last piece of toast was bitten into, again not be me! This was very disgusting and unsanitary! I wondering if my food made fresh? I felt like I had to throw up and do a full cleanse/detox! Our waitress was very apologetic and sympathetic to my issue. However the manager on duty responded very differently! As a matter of fact, he didn't respond at all! No apology or anything! After finding that my food was unsanitary to eat, I informed the waitress that we were not paying for the meal. What use to be one of our favorite restaurants is no longer a favorite! I will no longer patronize Denny's business! How dare the chef/staff give me someone else's food risking my health and body of contamination. I noticed my food was contaminated around 1:15-1:20pm, I was sitting at table #59 and my waitress name was Shani or Shari. I did not get the Manager's name, but he was an African American male, big build, around 5'9 and bald headed. Signed De'Andrea Robinson – Chicago, Illinois

  • My friend and I visited the Holland, MI restaurant before going to the annual kite festival in Grand Haven just down the road. We arrived at the restaurant at 10:30a.m. and were seated at 10:45. We told the person who seated us that we knew what we wanted to order because we looked at the menu while waiting but she ignored us. Our waiter showed up at 11:00 to take our drink order and we ordered our food at the same time. At 11:45 a.m. I called my waiter over to ask what was taking so long getting our food out to us and he said that somehow our order was never placed. I told him to go ahead and make our food but to bring it to us to go because we wanted to get to grand haven. The manager, female Hispanic lady brings our food out to us on plates at 12:15. I told her we needed it to go because my one year old is not going to sit still for much longer and we needed to get to Grand haven. She got huffy and took our food back bringing it out minutes later in bags. Now mind you, earlier our waiter apologized and said he would try to get us a discount or a free meal so when the manager came out and dropped our to go bags on our table and walked away I figured our meal was free. My friend and I started to head out to the car and as I am buckling my daughter in her car seat that same female manager ran towards my car shouting that she was calling the police because I was trying to dine and dash. We exchanged words and I gave her back her food and told her that maybe next time she should give me a bill or say something instead of getting an attitude and dropping my food off at my table and walking away. Needless to say we didn't get to eat what we planned so we had fast food through a drive thru. I contacted that Denny's on the following Monday and the supervisor sent me expired coupons in the mail good at any Dennys. So when in grand rapids MI I decide to go to Plainfield Dennys to treat my family to a meal and thankfully I asked BEFORE ordering because the manager said she could not accept the expired coupons I received in the mail just 3 days prior. I explained my situation yet she would not accept them. This company needs to do some serious training in the area of customer service. With people using social media on a regular basis, visits like these two can make other people think twice about visiting a particular place just by what someone shared on social media. I contacted Dennys with a written e mail to the CEO on sunday night and it is Tuesday and I haven't heard anything from anyone. I will be sure to tell my friends and family to think twice before ever stepping foot in a Denny's ever again. I would love to put on my facebook page how Denny's got back with me and fixed two wrongs but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. Thanks for nothing Denny's. Sincerely Leigha Witham 319 circle dr. Fremont mi 49412

  • To Denny’s:

Yesterday afternoon, 16 May 2015, my family and I went into the Denny’s at 3249 Chapman Road in Wytheville, VA to eat dinner. I was truly disappointed in the Ultimate Omelet I ordered.

For the record, my wife and I have eaten at Denny’s in Hollywood, CA, Boston, MA, at least twice at Denny’s in Northern Virginia that I can recall at this time. We’ve never been unhappy with any meal we’ve ordered at these locations.

Looking on your web site at a picture of the Ultimate Omelet, what I had served to me looked nothing like that! What I saw was indescribable. It looked as if the onions and green peppers were soaked in the cooking oil, sausage added in, and made up what I will describe as a “mush”, and the mushrooms thrown in after the “mush” was somewhat heated. The mushrooms were not heated at all. The “mush” was scooped onto the plate, and the eggs were put on top of the pile. The egg didn’t form an omelet. My guess is that the eggs were frozen, because they were about six inches long, maybe three inches wide, and less than an inch thick.

The home fries consisted on nothing more than the crusty cooked part from the grill. A thin layer that were so tough and stringy, I couldn’t cut them with a fork.

Needless to say, I can’t recommend this particular Denny’s to anyone. I sincerely hope all Denny’s don’t lower themselves to this quality of food.

As a side note, the service was great. If only I could say the same for the food.

  • I love the dennys at san mateo Albuquerque nm. But the one in edgewood nm is the worst restaurant ive ever been to! Id rather go to McDonald's… They have staff they doesnt know how to take an order or upkeep on our drinks. Then. They think its fine to throw stuff on the table! The food was horrible nothing was right. Took us an hour to even get one order complete… None of them were special at all…… I will not be going back to the edgewood location
