Crumbl, Unsanitary Employee Food Prep. We went to Crumbl Ashburn, VA last Saturday. They were very busy, so we waited for about 20 minutes to get our order. This was no problem because they are popular. As we waited I observed Nico as he did the final prep for the orders. Though wearing gloves, he repeatedly grabbed his bare ankle to stretch his quad, rubbed his ear, scratched the back of his bare neck, and adjusted his hat and glasses numerous times; all without ever changing gloves before touching the next customer’s food. Before he prepared our order, I quietly asked him to change his gloves before touching our food. He stepped back and stated loudly to everyone present, “Would you like to come back here and do this?” before stomping off to complain to his manager. The manager approached me and I again quietly relayed the health violations I had observed. She nodded, said something to Nico I did not hear and went back to her station without offering any apology or explanation. When Nico returned with fresh gloves, unbeknownst to him, our order was next. Nico finished with the toppings, called my name, and then realized it was me. He turned to the woman next to him and asked her to bring me the order, which she did without incident. Meanwhile, Nico made a show of taking off the gloves used for our order, threw them away and blew a kiss at me. Not only was the lack of hygiene disappointing, and unacceptable, but also the complete lack of customer service, social awareness and common decency.

Crumbl Disppointing Experience

Crumbl, First and last time visiting my local store! First, my order showed as 12th on the screen. As I waited for my name to be called, about 30 min) it got to the top then disappeared. I asked about it and they handed me my order which had been sitting there since I had arrived 30 min prior. When I asked why it showed as 12th on the board but was ready they said nothing and walked away. When I got home and served all the cookies they were Raw in the middle!!! I called and they wouldn’t do anything to help me. No refund, no replacement even when I offered to bring all of them back!! The store was dirty! The counter where they verify the orders was filthy, full of crumbs and frosting, frosting all over the outside of all the boxes. People had to wipe their own boxed before taking them. No hairnets, a glove fell into the chocolate batter and the person just took it out without discarding the batter!! Disgusting!! Never going back and will be telling everyone how horrible they are! Finally, there’s no way to contact their headquarters or customer service of any kind. They only want you to reach out to the store which was less than helpful! I hope someone reads this that can actually fix these issues for their future customers.

Crumbl, Hair Baked Into My Cookie. I bought a six-pack of chocolate chunk cookies. I’m a loyal Crumbl customer and buy them almost weekly. On my first bite of my very first cookie, I bit into a coarse dark hair baked into my cookie (my own hair is fine and light brown). In fact, it got caught in my teeth. I emailed the manager of the Normal, IL. store who was very condescending in their reply. They told me that if I had a photo of the hair inside the cookie, he would gladly replace it. I did not take a photo – I threw the cookie into the garbage. I told them my first inclination was not to take a photo as I do not have a litigation mindset. I won’t buy Crumbl again. I’ll order Bang cookies or Insomnia and have them shipped.

Crumbl, Horrible. I would have given a 0 Stars if I could. I purchased a gift card on the Crumbl website and it has been a nightmare ever since. .!!! I could not load it to the Crumbl App on my phone so we took it to the store the store said there is a horrible glitch your System!!!! And that I need the corp to send me a Bar Code!!!!!
