Doordash cares nothing about their customers. My husband ordered food through DoorDashlast night and the driver left our order at the wrong address, mind you my husband has stage 4 brain cancer fighting for his life, he can’t walk or drive, when he called DoorDash to report what happened they denied him and closed his case. So he called 3 time’s and they denied his claim, he has to take medicine 💊 pills that requires him to eat food at a certain time, it’s been 48 hours and they still declined his claim, it’s DoorDashs fault and the driver fault, this is elderly abuse and it’s a criminal case, I am reporting this company to every media outlet for the way you treated us both especially my husband, you should be ashamed of your self, I hear that the owner of DoorDash is a billionaire and it allows people to be ripped off and disrespected.

Door Dash Frustrating Dasher Experience

Door Dash, As a Dasher, I enjoy the work but have encountered several issues that make the experience increasingly frustrating, with little help or support from DoorDash. Maintaining a Platinum acceptance rating feels nearly impossible because of the absurd delivery requests I receive. For example: A delivery offering $3.75 requires me to drive 8.3 miles—16+ miles round trip. I decline this every time. Another offering $4.75 expects me to drive 11.9 miles, nearly 24 miles round trip. Again, I decline. These types of requests are not worth the time or gas and should never even be sent to Dashers. On Sunday, I declined multiple unreasonable deliveries within minutes, and my acceptance rate (AR) dropped from 83% to 79%. The same thing happened on Wednesday—three declines in under a minute caused another 3% drop. DoorDash promotes the Platinum Dasher program, claiming it offers access to high-paying orders, but my experience has been the opposite. Instead, I’m stuck with low-paying, high-mileage requests that damage my rating. I enjoy dashing, but DoorDash needs to improve its system to make it fairer for Dashers. These repeated frustrations are driving loyal Dashers away. Shame on you, DoorDash, for failing to support your Dashers as promised!

DoorDash Frustrating Customer Service

DoorDash, Absolutely horrendous Customer Service. When I am angry, I don’t need a representative to tell me to keep the call professional. I need them to do their job as a Customer-Service Representitive and de-escalate the situation and find the solution rather than focusing on the problem/frustrations of the customer. I spent over 2 hours today on Chat support + Phone Calls with Corporates # just to be told the same thing over and over “To keep this call professional.” If a customer is upset and irate, it is Your job to de-escalate and keep the customer happy to ensure they’re continuing to use your products which pays for your paychecks. If a customer isn’t satisfied, especially one who spends tons of money on this service, there should be no reason why I shouldn’t have an ability or a rep to take care of this without going back and forth, even hanging up and disconnecting chats. If DoorDash representatives can’t handle upset or irate customers, you need to find better agents.

DoorDash Account Suspension Issue

DoorDash, My account was unfairly suspended due to old FTAs (Failure to Appear) on my driving record. DoorDash incorrectly determined that my license was suspended, which is impossible since I work full-time as a CDL driver. I’ve tried contacting customer service through emails and phone calls but have received no resolution. I relied on DoorDash to supplement my income as a single father, and this has been a major setback. For clarification, my license is not suspended. The FTA occurred because court documents were sent to my previous address. Once I was notified, I contacted the court, and they temporarily reinstated my license pending my rescheduled court date. After attending court and winning my case, my CDL status was fully restored and remains valid. Why did DoorDash suspend my account without verifying the facts? This lack of proper review has caused unnecessary frustration. Can someone help resolve this issue?

DoorDash, Pay isn’t on time. I signed up to get paid on Mondays and customer service says I might have to wait untill Thursday? I know you guys get paid on time. Why do I have to wait? This is why I’ve slack off deliveries because I don’t get paid on time. Please fix this. Thank you.
