EOS Customer Service Issue

May 28, 2024

Refund and monthly comps! My daughter (17) signed up for the $10/month membership. They had overdraft her account because the annual membership was charged when she was told it was waived for a promotion. She was charged for the $30 membership. So she canceled cause she couldn’t afford it and overdraft again because she wasn’t told about the cancellation fee. I went into EOS with her and they said they will waive the annual for this year and next and comp her in months for the cancellation because they fired the employee that set up her membership cause he was telling people they were being signed up for then$10/month but signed them up for the more expensive plan. I have it in writing! And they ended up charging me for the annual and did not comp months for us as promised! I sent an email with the in writing document and no one will respond I went in and am ignored!

EOS Fitness Terrible Customer Service

May 26, 2024

This place is terrible! When I first signed up it was over the phone. I originally wanted the membership for use of the lane pool but their basic membership didn’t allow use, (wow) so i HAD to get a more expensive one. then they make you pay for towel use. so I paid for that. Then after a few times going they denied me towels saying it wasn’t on my membership. so the person who signed me up failed to do their job correctly and the staff that was first giving me towels started telling me I couldn’t have a towel unless i had the app….What app? so now even if i am paying for towels I now have to download a whole App that iIwas never informed of at sign up just to get one. I don’t want to use an App! I have my phone bogged down with apps I already don’t want because i have kids in school and sports and those organizations require them. iIgo to gym to release stress and get healthy. I try to leave my phone and all it’s APPS turned off. Why the app? so staff don’t have to work? Staff that treats you poorly anyway and lie and argue with you about how your membership is set up!!! The trainers a SUPER RUDE!! The staff that sets up your memberships are rude and untrained. The place can’t get their crap together and when I tried to talk with the guy who set up my membership….oh he transferred. HA! Now I want to cancel my member ship! I want to cancel because I don’t wanna hassle with apps or hassle over towels, hassle with rude uninformed and untrained staff just to use the pool that i have to have a more expensive membership to use. just not worth it when I can go use the mary jo peckham pool for free. So i called to cancel my membership that I SET UP OVER THE PHONE!! Now i’m being told “new” policy is that you can only cancel in person due to “information” protection that they were not worried about at the time I signed up for a membership. Now I have to take time off work to come cancel in person with untrained RUDE staff. double Ha!! well it’s that “new” policy, the towel scam, the untrained staff and their rudeness,AND ALL THE HASSLES that are all the reasons i’m canceling my membership. this location has been 3 different gyms in the last few years….no wonder. Management of the facility sucks, staff sucks, and the “new” policies they just keep adding also suck. THE PLACE AS A WHOLE SUCKS!!
