EOS Fitness Oceanside CA Frustrating Cancelation

January 28, 2025

EOS Fitness, Cancelation and Refund Request due to Medical Issue. It is unfortunate that I am reaching out to you, however, I am not receiving the response and results I am asking for from my local Oceanside, CA gym. I am a 70 year old woman who joined your gym on January 3, 2025 with every intention of working out 3 days a week. At my first visit I met with a personal trainer to show me around and get me started on the right path. After my first workout I met with one of the registration people who offered me a “sign up now” incentive to hire the trainer . . . “Offer only good for today.” Pressure. So, since I liked the trainer, I signed up, gave my credit card information and to date, have had at least 2 payments withdrawn from my credit card. My trainer shared with my that his wife was due to give birth to their first child “any day now” so we decided to defer the beginning of training until February 15 when he returned from family leave. About one week after I joined the gym I found myself in the emergency room with a serious health issue and am now facing surgery in a few days with a 6-8 week recovery period during which time I will not be able to workout. I reached out to my trainer via text on January 13 requesting cancellation of my training program and requesting a refund of all payments (since training had not begun). (See attached). His response was that he would have his manager, Justin reach out to me. I had not heard from Justin by the weekend, so on January 18 I stopped by the gym hoping to speak with Justin. He was not in and I was advised to reach out to the General Manager, Sujay Dani, which I did via email that same day. (See attached). Sujay has never responded to my message. On January 20 I received a voicemail message from Justin stating he would “escalate my request to the personal training service center.” I have not heard from them. I called and spoke with Justin on January 24 and he stated he would send the escalation request again. Still no word. I called the gym on January 27 to speak with Sujay and he has not returned my call. My surgery is scheduled for February 3 and I would really your intervention to get this matter resolved for me. Since I have not received training I don’t believe it is an unreasonable request to ask for the training contract to be cancelled and my payments refunded to me. Thank you for your prompt attention to resolving this issue for me.

EOS Fitness Syracuse Utah Disappointing

February 17, 2025

EOS Fitness in Syracuse Utah. They told me at the front desk that the new EOS Fitness would open up Spring 2025 and would have a pool. I signed up. I did a couple of classes and really didn’t care for them. I also learned the new EOS Fitness would not open up until 2026. I called and spoke to Kody or Codee or Cody the guy who signed me up. I told him I wanted to cancel. This was within 2 weeks of signing up. I had only had 2 or 3 classes. I didn’t like the classes and there was no pool. He told me that he could waive my fee to downgrade but that I would have to wait until after the 1st payment comes out. So, I called today, and he said he didn’t recall that he said that. And he refused to waive the fee. He also refused to let me speak with the manager. I was lied to about the new opening and lied to about fees. You got my money, but not anymore. I will stick with Vasa, they have a pool, same equipment and cost $10 bucks less. I will also be posting on Yelp and Google and will continue doing so until I get tired. For your employees to lie so easily doesn’t speak well of the company.

EOS Fitness Disappointing Sauna Issue

February 1, 2025

EOS Fitness, Ray and Rual location. Sauna has not worked for over a year you have to ask a front desk agent to turn it on 15 min before you want to I use it and it only works half the time. They said it’s not in The budget to fix it. I under stand a couple months but this has been going on for over a year I am going to look for other gyms.

EOS Fitness West Jordan UT Membership Issue

November 25, 2024

EOS Fitness, Membership. I am very disappointed with Eos at their West Jordan, UT location. They charged my account without my authorization, and it appears they do not prioritize integrity in their interactions with clients. Despite my numerous attempts to resolve this issue through customer service, I was only directed to their online resources for assistance. If you continue to experience problems, I recommend escalating your complaint or seeking help from consumer protection agencies. Businesses must uphold trust and integrity with their customers.
