Hand and Stone, This past Mother’s Day, I wanted to treat my wife to a facial, something to really spoil her to show my appreciation for all she does for our family. I called Hand & Stone and spoke with a sales person who told me about the services they offer – I told her I wanted to really give her a special treatment – something that would be a relaxing treat to really spoil her and something that would make the most difference in her skin complexion. She sold me on a $125 upgrade to the diamond facial treatment as she said it makes the most difference in the skin. And she also recommended the aroma therapy upgrade because it is very soothing and enjoyable. Once my wife got to the treatment, the worker talked my wife out of the diamond treatment and told her she probably wouldn’t like it. After the treatment the worker told my wife to book a future appointment with her at a different facility. This was very unprofessional and confusing for my wife. I also paid the full price despite the worker cancelling the services I paid to upgrade.

Hand and Stone, Request to pause the monthly payments for a few months. I requested to pause my payments a few weeks ago, and the Highlands Ranch office had the wrong email address for me. In turn, they processed the full $82.45 on May 7, 2025. I was surprised that a full payment hit my account, and I had to reach out to them and ask why, this is when we discovered they had the wrong address. I spoke to the manager today, and he said they will not reverse the charge because they tried calling a few times me and I was not available.

My hardship is that my husband is on disability, but he hasn’t received a paycheck in (5) months, and we can use the money. We have (11) credits, and we would rather pay $10.00 a month and use the money for bills. Please consider refunding me

Hand and Stone, Poor decision to only offer one hour massages to loyal customers! I am so very upset that when your corporation took over La vida Massage you took away without asking any customers, (you know the ones who pay your salaries), you took away our option for an hour and a half massage every month. You have lost many customers over this dumb decision you made. You also tack on extra charges for couples massage and other frills. You are nickel and diming your customers to death and many of us have gone elsewhere because of your price hikes and changes. I now have to wait two months for a 2 hour massage. You will continue to loose customers if you continue to tune us out. This is the second time I have complained. Listen to Me!! I need a response!

Hand and Stone, Employee Complaint, Lack of Training and Unfair Dismissal. Hand and Stone (Decatur, GA location), I am writing to file a complaint regarding my recent involuntary dismissal on 2/21/2025. I began working at this location on 1/30/2025 but did not receive proper training or consistent scheduling during my time there. On my first day, I was not provided with a structured training agenda outlining weekly expectations. When I asked about my schedule, the manager informed me that she would “just call” without giving any specific days. During training, I was often left on a tablet for modules without any guidance on my progress or responsibilities. I also received minimal instruction, as I was repeatedly told by the manager that other employees should not help me until I learned the pricing. On 2/21/2025, I was informed that I was being dismissed because I was “not the right fit” and was not progressing as expected. However, given the lack of structured training and feedback, I believe this assessment was unfair. I am seeking a resolution and a better understanding of Hand and Stone’s training and employment practices. Thank you.

Hand and Stone Weymouth MA Frustrating Experience

Hand and Stone, I go to Hand and Stone 35 Pleasant Street, Weymouth MA = have been a member about one year now, had a massage technician but she left, so I got Diane .. and I went to her for about 6 months or longer.. well today was the worst day ever.. the week before she complained to me as I lie on the table about this pressure .. (when I went to her the first time she told me = I do pressure so you know) I was fine with that and I kept scheduling with her.  I gave her a tip every time $10.00 – $15.00 .. and I go Twice a Month..she never said anything was wrong with that. (plus thats all I can afford as I pay 80.00 a month and try to buy the other package deals )  then on 1-22-25 I had a massage and asked her to focus on lower back.. and if she could do more pressure.. if you can.. thats all no big deal.. say no or say yes … at the end session this Diane – massage Technician  hit me with = complaining about her Medical Problems Over And Over And Over (as I lie there under the sheets not knowing what the heck she is all about here) so yes I was frustrated and I left her a lower tip in cash.. (her treatment was very offensive to me) and complaining about her Medical Problems !!  then she complained about the work of the job and she goes at her speed !!  (I said fine) .. then the session was over she seemed fine??  so I left and said I will try one more time (Diane could have been up front with me in a more kinder way and approach etc)… but the complaining about her medical problems and its a lot of work of this job.. just hit me the wrong way.. as a  membership over a year and going to her for awhile..  but  I went on 1-26-25 got Diane, she did the usual no special requests from me and she went at her own pace. Then she hit me with at the end as I am hanging under the sheets ” I was not giving her enough tip”  Diane says its a lot of work and of course her medical issues …  and if you don’t like it – go complain to the manager !! I was like wow.. this Diane woman is bad news.. what a rotten attitude this woman Diane Massage Technician. As a member I was hurt and mad at the same time, that she has the right to treat clients like that with no remorse and with such a rotten attitude .. why is this Diane even working as a massage Technician were she has all these medical issues and its a lot of work and wants more money and treats clients like this for now reason! (I am terminating my membership and not going back Technician Does  = This Is The End = The Manager Maureen Of The Weymouth Ma Location Is Going To Call Me Monday To Terminate My Membership.. (I Will Call Her Too !!!  I Hope She Does Not Give Me A Hard Time Like That Diane Massage Technician Does).. I Gave One Star Had To Give Something On There = No 0 Zero On There But That Diane Is A Zero Below !!!! ( Don’t Give Me A Hard Time Terminating My Memebership Now .. Being Charged Once A Month.. Its Over !!!! I couldn’t wait to get out of there… and leave … it be very to go back to that place knowing you never know when they will turn on you ???
