Metlife, Watch Out!!! Metlife Is Taking Over 4-1/2 Months To Process My Claim And Giving Me The Runaround!!!!My Husband Aspirated And Was In The Icu And Hospital For Just Over A Month. We Have The Hospital Indemnity Coverage And Have Been Paying For This For Years. It Has Been Just Over 4-1/2 Months Since I Submitted The Claim. I Have Called Metlife Over 14 Times Now! I Have Called The Metlife Corporate Office 3 Times. This Claims Is “Still In Process.” Every Single Bit Of Information Metlife Needed Has Been Provided By Both Myself And The Hospital Where My Husband Stayed!!! Metlife Supervisors Do Not Call Back When They Promise. The Customer Service Representatives Cannot Tell You Anything Informative. I Get That Metlife Insurance Wants To Delay, Delay, Delay And Its terrible for Policyholders. In What World Is What Metlife Is Doing Fair?? Their Behavior Is Not Even Remotely Reasonable!!!!! Watch Out To All Potential Customers And Customers Of Metlife, Especially If You Have Hospital Indemnity Insurance!!!!

Metlife, Dental Pre-estimate. I have been trying since last month to get a pre estimate done. All of the items are on my policy and should be covered. I have talked with the escalation dept. and was assured all the information they needed was supplied by the dental office. It got denied again for insufficient information, when I called this morning and asked for the escalation dept. I got hung up on 3 times. I had to call back and was told they hadn’t recieved the information to complete it. Customer Service is very unprofessional I have had to cancel my dental appts

MetlIfe hides behind automated phone process. Metlife, you would not have to hide behind your automated process if you did your job. Your case manager refuses to call me in over a month, not one return call. I have spent hours trying to get assistance and still nothing, Was promised supervisors would call, I have paid you over 17 years for this policy and no one at your company can have the courtesy to call to resolve a issue on your end? Real Respectful Metlife. You should be ashamed, Do better!!!!

Metlife Billing Issue

Billing Practices! My Opinion: I have had a policy w/ Metlife Forever. I received a notice of premium due for X amount of dollars. Something was odd so I called the office to inquire about the bill & amount due. After being on the phone for almost a half hour, the representative informed me that my dividends on the account have paid for my premium, therefore 0 is owed. Great news for me, BUT my issue is this: Since my dividends paid for my premium, why then why is MetLife sending me a bill stating the amount owed???? If I did not call, I would have written the check & double-paid! What is MetLife trying to do? I get the impression trying to deceive the consumer….. IF my dividend was already paid my premium, why then send me a bill stating, “amount due”?
