How to Escalate an MLB Complaint

These are suggested steps for organizing and routing a concern, rather than a published league-wide complaint procedure.

  1. Identify who handled the service. A league inquiry, digital subscription, team ticket purchase and MLB Shop order may require different contacts.
  2. Gather relevant records. Keep receipts, order numbers, the game and date involved, screenshots, error messages and previous correspondence. For a technical problem, include your device and app version.
  3. Request a specific resolution. Explain whether you need access restored, a charge reviewed, an order traced or a response to an incident.
  4. Follow up through the same case. If the response does not address the issue, request a supervisor or further review. Keep the case number and any written response.
  5. Use headquarters for league-level routing. If your concern belongs with the league office, explain the subject and ask which department should receive it.

For correspondence, identify the intended department and include a concise summary of earlier contacts. Keep original documents and provide copies when needed.

A COH review does not open an MLB support case. Contact the appropriate official team for service requests, billing questions or complaints.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who should handle a subscription charge?

Check the receipt to identify who billed you. Contact MLB Support for an MLB purchase, or the seller shown on the receipt if you subscribed through another platform. Keep the charge date, amount and subscription confirmation available.

Does contacting headquarters guarantee a ticket refund?

No. Ask the original ticket seller or club to review the purchase under the applicable ticket terms. Identify the game, purchase channel and reason for your request.

Can I send feedback about a broadcast?

Identify the network or streaming service that carried the broadcast. Direct presentation or commentary feedback to that broadcaster; use MLB Support when the issue concerns MLB’s own digital service.

About Major League Baseball

MLB is the professional baseball organization whose clubs compete in the American and National Leagues. Its league office and digital services have different responsibilities from individual clubs, ballparks and merchandise sellers.

Why Trust Corporate Office Headquarters?
