DriveTime Disappointing Customer Service

DriveTime, Lemon. I bought a 2017 VW Passat in Sept 2023 and within 25 of purchase it was in shop for 1 1/2 weeks due to a non-covered item. Yes after many calls my part was covered by warranty , 5 months later my car in the shop for 27 days (and seen by 3 authorized drivetime mechanics) 3rd mechanic found that Turbo was broken, then discovered fuel pump was broken( and crack had been there for a while ) then he discovered that the Engine Harness had been cracked and welded in 2 places , (mechanic at Quick Lane called VW corp to inquire about replacement parts , hes was told by VW Corp that the whole Harness Must be replaced ,and was against the law to drive ) Mechnice reported issues to SilverRock stating he not Let Me the Buyer of Car have car back until Warranty Paid for Parts, all of which SilverRock was refusing to pay for . stating that it was buyer fault. 3rd party investigation took place and stating all mechanical issue were in place before purchase. Drive Time is supposed to do a 25-point inspection before selling. Cracked fuel pump, cracked/faulty repair done to Engine Harness, dirt and cracked Turbo should have been notice before placing on lot to be sold. It has been 1 year since purchased and 5 months since last Mechanical issue, and NOW, the EPC light and Engine Lights are on again. I Truly believe Drive Time sold me a lemon, with so many issues. I can’t even give it back and get another care because I owe $ on it. I am spending $ to fix and making payments … What the Heck…. I don’t want this car anymore it’s been nothing but problems, , take it back. I want my $ back.
