Rona Disappointing Price Issue

Rona, Confusing price tags. I picked up a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood which I assumed was priced at $38.98 and had it ripped into 3 pieces. I then when I went to pay the clerks monitor read $52.88. I questioned the price and told him I believed it to be $38.98 at which time he said “it’s the price at the bottom not the top”???? I went back to the location and saw that, in fact he was correct. I said that was a little misleading but I’ll pay as it has already been cut. The problem I’m having is this: 1. There were 2 skids of 1/2″ plywood – one at floor level, the second being on a rack directly above. 2. The $32.98 price tag was hanging off the bottom of the upper skid. The $52.88 was about 4 inches off the floor (not easily seen) 3. So you’ve got two skids, one on top of another. I have no idea that one is different than the other. 4. I told the clerk this is easily solved by simply having an arrow on each price tag stating which price is for which skid. And have both at eye level. I have a bad back and it’s difficult on most days to bend over to see a tag that’s virtually on the floor. There is a Home Depot right across the road from you. I’ll bet you can guess where I’ll be doing my shopping in the future.

Rona Credit Card Disappointing

Rona, Emphasises on using the Rona Credit Card. Frustrating to purchase anything in Rona and pay cash as opposed to using their credit card system. Believe it or not – there are people who prefer to pay cash. Rona has made it it increasingly difficult to do so. At this increasingly busy time of year, using Rona as a source for Christmas gift giving has become an obstacle as opposed a source consideration. I am a Justice Advocate and will oppose any Rona promotions until there is is evidence in dramatic change in Rona marketing strategy I will actively encourage potential shoppers to shop elsewhere.
