Starbucks’ Competition

In the competitive coffeehouse market, Starbucks faces challenges from other major coffee chains like Dunkin’ Donuts, Peet’s Coffee, and Costa Coffee, Caribou Coffee, Dutch Bros, PJ’s Coffee, as well as local cafes. Additionally, in the broader food industry, Starbucks competes with fast-food and quick-service restaurants such as McDonald’s, Panera Bread, and Subway, which also offer coffee and similar food items. Despite this competition, Starbucks maintains its leadership position through innovation, a global presence, and a strong brand identity.

Starbucks Southgate MI

Starbucks, Horrible. Monday, October 21, 2024, 9:46 PM, wrote: First, let me start by saying I started my morning getting up to a call to go to the hospital for my mother, which had surgery on her heart today as I go to Starbucks all the time I stopped at Starbucks in Southgate, Michigan, which is one that I’ve never been to before, got my coffee and ordered my sandwich and put it in my purse so I could have it later while I was waiting for my mother because I was starving and the picture below will show you what I got you a coffee and the sandwich that I had received was $17 Very very upset by the way you let these come out and secondly, it’s not even what I ordered. I ordered a bacon cheddar croissant.

Starbucks Frustrating Job Application Process

February 11, 2025

Starbucks, Frustrating Job Application Process at Starbucks. Applying for a minimum-wage job at Starbucks online has been frustrating. My application was immediately rejected by the “talent team” without an interview. Who even makes up this team? With years of experience in sales, retail, customer service, and a BA from Rutgers, I am fully qualified and eager to work. I’m older, 100% reliable, and can walk to work—yet no opportunity to even interview? Is it because of my age? If lifting 40 lbs is a concern, just be honest. It’s disappointing that real conversations with real people have been replaced by an impersonal system. Starbucks, don’t you want dedicated employees who will help make you money?

Starbucks New rules Issue

January 30, 2025

Starbucks, I live with no running water to wash a Venta person cup each day, there for I can’t get refills any more. I also smoke in my car and can’t get refill even though I don’t leave the parking lot.

Starbucks Disappointing Issues

January 20, 2025

Starbucks, January 20, 2025. My wife and I, seniors, visit Starbucks at lease 4 times a month. So many times we have to take our drinks and go out to our car to sit down and enjoy the drinks. Too Many tables are taken up by people who sit down at a take for 4, put their iPhone, & computer on the tables and spread other paraphernalia all over so that two other people cannot sit down. The Music In All Locations Is Awful. Consistently. We usually bring in a bag of Shrunkin’ Donuts to have with our coffee. Starbucks foods are awful and always has been.

Starbucks Lancaster CA Frustrating Customer Service

January 13, 2025

Starbucks, Complete Disregard. Morning. Starbucks at 2053 W. Ave. J., Lancaster, CA. store mgr Adam, district mgr Jason, employees Eddie and Abby, have set the thermostat between 65—69 degrees, having this “Air Conditioner on, while the outside temperatures are ranging 21–33 degrees, sometime up to 34-40. It is Horrific, appalling, unjustified and un-excuse-able to have me and many other consumers literally freezing inside this Starbucks. I have also contacted Corporate Office, spoke to Ms. Nicole., on Jan. 6. Called also on the 9, and the 12, to continue to address my serious concerns seeing that the store mgr/district mgr which I have addressed other concerns regarding previous drug use/activity, smoking cigarettes, etc., outside on their patio and epreviously inside their batrooms here, seem to have a belief that I and my concerns don’t matter. I am reaching out to other Law/Health Dept., Agencies and others to help me address these matters. I will be telling all of my family/friends to not come to this store. Anyone within a 0 to 30 mile radius, please do not visit this store you will be laughed at, not taken serious and your concerns, disregarded. I am 64, disabled and have pre- existing Medical Conditions. Sometimes, I don’t even come into this store due to the “Air Conditioner On Full Blast”. I spend no more monies when I do come in to charge with my best friend. This Starbucks does not care about no consumer’s/persons health/safety/welfare or well-being. They refuse to turn on the heat. Its only when you either ask or have to somewhat come out of character while keeping your composure.
