Straight Talk DIsappointing Overseas Service

March 22, 2025

Straight Talk, Bad Customer Service. I called Straight Talk customer service on 12/8/2024 & 3/15/2025 and both times they were able to send me a verification code through my email. No I called again on today 3/22/2025 and the lady tells me, “I can’t because your email is not listed on your account”. But I received it in my email two times. I cannot get text messages because I have no phone service, due to being deployed overseas. I’m really wanting to leave the messed up relationship I’m in. I feel hurt, and abandoned. I tell you, do not get service from Straight Talk. Help me find a new and healthy relationship. Maybe with the following: 1. Boost Mobile, 2. Metro, 3. Cricket, 4. AT&T. I sure do miss Cingular Wireless.

Straight Talk, Pathetic Service. Wife & I have had an account for 2 lines for a out 5 years. No problems until this evening when they tried splitting them up & raising the price per line, in 1 shot. We will be on another carrier tomorrow. Good riddance.

Straight Talk Disappointing Customer Service

March 18, 2025

Straight Talk, I have been a Straight Talk customer for years. I don’t use the phone that often, but do rely on it when I am traveling and occasional texting. Recently my old phones battery started not wanting to charge or hold a charge, it’s old and I’m not surprised the phone needed to be replaced. I contacted Straight Talk and purchased a new one. I paid for it, it shipped the next day. Great. On Monday I tracked it so I would be home for delivery (porch pirates). I noticed that it was at a facility 30 miles away. Later I checked again to see if it was out for delivery. t was then 300 miles away. I called UPS. I found out then it was the wrong address that they shipped it too. I immediately called Straight talk via chat. With most companies that’s the quickest way. Wrong. When I finally got to talk to an agent it was just stupid. My receipt that they sent me had the right shipping address on it. They shipped it to a different address. I could not get them to understand. UPS told me that they could simply contact them and update the address. Customer service insisted all day that the phone would be delivered that day. I called them. I could not get them to grasp the concept that the package didn’t have the right address on it. I know I gave them my address 15 times and I finally got a supervisor who again insisted that the package would be delivered on time, by 7:00. She made an appointment to call me back. She didn’t. Counting holds and then the agent juggling multiple calls I was on the phone 3 hours with them and got nowhere. My only option was to return the phone when it was delivered. It’s kind of stupid, it has the wrong address on it and it will never be delivered. So, they know they made a mistake and refuse to fix it. They made it my problem. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure to deal with.

Straight Talk Disappointing Customer Service

March 13, 2025

Straight Talk, Terrible for a new customer. I’m a new customer and spoken to 4 people that do nothing to help me. All I’m needing is a port over. The first representative Juan disconnected the phone call when it was suppose to go to activation. The second one, May told me to call Verizon myself! Isn’t that her duty? The third (all in same day with over 1 and 1/2). Then there was the last one of the day (and I gave up), Arnell, who was much nicer, at least she took my name, unlike May who wanted my SIM card number before anything…..no introduction, nothing. This isn’t the Customer Service we need as older citizens, a young person in college, or a person buying a house! Our time is limitied. Straight Talk is paying employees to get them mad, I guess. Or maybe the one today, around 10:00 am, on the call over 2 hours since I verified everything w/ robotics @ 6:30. This isn’t what Quality Assurance is about. What about those working from home? Obviously, you need to check on them. Since these people, I regret to tell you are not doing their job.

Straight Talk Frustrating Customer Service

Straight Talk, Would Never do business with Straight Talk. I purchased a New iphone directly from Straight Talk – over the phone – almost a month ago. It has never worked correctly. They have removed IMEI cards, I was on my 3rd SIM card before they returned it to factory status. I have spent 9.5 hours on the phone with them today…well over 150 hours since the purchase. Everytime I phone I need to listen to all the prompts several times before getting a rep. Once I get the rep, I need to tell my entire story before they’re escalate the call. I am now being told it has been escalated…again…and I will receive an email in 48-72 hours. There is so much more I could say. Suffice it to say, the phone is a lemon and Straight Talk is not able to resolve it.
