Clarks Myrtle Beach SC Sales Experience

Clarks, Bizarre sales associate. Had the absolute misfortune on this date to go to the Clarks outlet (Tangers) in Myrtle Beach SC. Promotional sale was clearance was 2 for $50. The woman associate explained the deal upon entering! Actually said that is my deal! Picked out two shoes (that were perfect?!) and took them to the counter. Mentioned I usually bought my Clarks shoes at Marshall’s for the past Forty years – at a deeper discount? – and fully told me he did not agree with that “policy”? (Dude! The company is selling after-market products !?) and then both shoes didn’t “ring up” as clearance? So the total was .. triple? Do you have cameras in the store? And he was standing firm – like he was Mr. Clark?!?’ I did not argue – because this was on him – but left an extremely bad taste in our mouths. Kind of ruined my vacation? But, as my husband reminded me, it was your sales associates demeanor – not mine? What, if anything, do you have to advise for this encounter?

Clarks Frustrating Customer Service

Clarks, Does this company even exist? Their website has flaws and glitches. My gift card went to $0 while I was trying to place an order. Their customer service doesn’t exist. I sent them 4 customer forms and I have not heard from them. I waited in their 339 area code phone queue more than 1 hour, and gave up calling them again after being in the queue over and over. Their 800 number has a constant busy signal. These numbers are for their US corporate office in Mass. Horrible service. My order never got placed, yet they took my $56. There is no proof my gift card was used for a purchase. I am contacting the BBB and FTC.

Clarks Bad Experience

I went to the Bloomington Minnesota store on 11/28/23 to buy a pair of shoes and I when I got home and I was about to put them away I found out the sales person mixed up the shoes, I bought a size 8 and I ended up with 1 size 8 and 1 size 7 1/2 shoes.

This very incompetent employee “Sawyer M” made a pretty careless mistake, there was no other customer in the store, so he had plenty of time to check the shoes.

Now I have to go back to the store and drive over an hour to return them, because of his mistake.

This is Not A+ Customer Service

I’M NEVER GOING TO SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN
