Texas Roadhouse in Decline. I have been going to the Texas Roadhouse in Kokomo, IN for years. Something is Seriously wrong here. Placed a “to go” order and was informed they were out of baked potatoes??? Last Sunday, I went with family to eat…the wait time was absolutely ridiculous, but finally got to order. After waiting for the food, steak & baked potato, it finally arrived and I was shocked! The server set our plates before us…only the steak on the plate! Was told potatoes would be up soon. The steak was cold, so not sure how long it sat in the back before it was served? This Manager, if he continues to manage this way, will get this Texas Roadhouse shut down! I’m Done with the Kokomo, IN Texas Roadhouse!!

No Comfortable Place to Wait! Grand Praire TX . Appalled at how customers must wait outside without any cover from the elements, especially the sun in the hot Texas heat. Not only that, they have added metal benches in our weather to sit on! The inside seating for waiting has totally disappeared too. No consideration for the various types of customers much less those who can’t stand long. The 10 foot cover where place to-go-orders is in the main walk way for customer entering the building. The people servicing pick-up are behind the a curtain on their phones. No bell to let them know someone is waiting. There are two service windows, but one has blinds that is always closed. Of course, you can always sit in your car and run the heat or air conditioning. Oh, and on to-go-orders, your food might be ready but now you must wait for the bread. Do I really want to give them another $40 plus tips?

Steaks not cooked to customers liking! My husband and I eat at the Texas Roadhouse in Orange City, Florida quite often but the last 5 to 6 times the steaks were not prepared like we ordered them and this afternoon was no exception. We both ordered Med well steaks and needless to say they were more like rare. We really like their steaks but this was the final time we will ever set foot in that restaurant. They need to train the cooks on how to cook a steak the way the customer ordered it not how they think it should be prepared.

Texas Roadhouse, Not a place to go if you have anyone in a wheelchair in your party. Attempted to take our parents out for their anniversary at 5pm on a Monday evening. The restaurant was not even half full and were told we had to wait to be seated because we needed a table so it would be handicap accessible. As mentioned, there were plenty of empty tables because they were not busy at all. But those sections of the restaurant were not open due to not having servers. So, the party ahead of us along with our party would have to wait for the 1 table that would accommodate a wheelchair. Long story short, one of the managers approached us with an attitude and it went south from there. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else to eat. Not the first time we have had issues getting a table due to someone in our group being in a wheelchair. Might as well have a sign out front that reads “Wheelchairs not welcome” .

Texas Roadhouse, Angelika our server was amazing. Up selling not only on food but drinks as well for everyone in the group. She had a bubble personality and very attentive. Aaron the manager made an accommodation for me. A big thank you to both of them for outstanding customer service. Which is hard to find now days. Oh yes the food was great too. 👍
