Shaw’s, Store on Comm Ave in Boston MA. does not care about its customers. All the carriges are locked so they can not go to the parking lot. the escalators don’t always work the elevator finally works but it is impossible to carry many heavy bags to the parking lot. The bundle pick up is broken and can not be fixed. They need to find a way to get something to get their bundle pick up to work. I probably won’t be able to continue to shop here because it is so difficult. It is close to my home and I like the cashier and deli personnel. They offer to find someone to help but this is not the solution. There are many seniors in this area. I think the management just doesn’t care.

Shaw’s, How to Help your stores. Hello Its a shame how Shaw’s is always so empty. I used to love shopping at Shaw’s because it wasn’t a crazy s show like Market Basket. Everyone goes to Market Basket because their prices are cheaper for the same products as Shaw’s. If you would lower your prices not as low as MB but compatible. Have sales on items cheaper then MB once a week. This will bring in customers who can’t handle the over crowds at MB and can’t afford Hannaford aka Cantaffords. I really miss the people who works at Shaw’s as they are more friendly and aren’t rushed because the store is beyond busy. Thank you you need to take a slide but this will help you climb the mountain.

Shaws, McShortagee’s Market 11/21/24 social media post…FYI: Someone who relies on ‘virtue-signaling’ shouldn’t defame others in his own community! This is a horrible thing to say about a competitor a mile away that supplies food banks and has served Riverside residents for decades. Shaw’s should demand a public apology from McShortagee’s Market located @ 204 Willett Avenue, Riverside RI in the old Shroder’s storefront. Shaw’s Fatty Roast. I purchased an Eye of the Round Roast at Shaw’s. It appeared a bit fatty as those roasts are usually minimal fat. To make a long story short I cut off 8 ounces of fat leaving much fat on that I could not remove. Since I paid $34.68 for the roast and eight ounces plus is fat I feel that this was not a good buy. I know that many are gouging but I am hoping that this was an honest mistake. When pointed out to the man in the meat department he said you need some fat. Well…I guess I got fat. Could not take a picture as I am in the process of cooking the roast.

I worked for this Shaw’s for 13 years. loved and respected this company and gave 100% everyday. I cared about every aspect of the job always. I gave my all but this company over the past 3 years has gone down hill. they have lost their sense in what “quality” and “fresh” mean. they want us to overproduce then throw out food that does not sell then get mad at us when we throw away the crap they want us to make too many of. that aside, I had applied to be a department manager of the department I was already assistant manager of. A new hire who was there only 3 month was told to apply by the store manager for the same position. this store manager did not like me. I know when I’m being targeted. she picked me apart for the smallest things like throwing the trash out incorrectly…. seriously. she hired the kid with 4 months of experience over me who had 13 years of experience and expected me to train him. I was not going to do the job for someone who beat me in a promotion. Needless to say he went on vacation so I had to be in charge of the mess of a department we had. iIalso moved an additional 14 miles further from my store so getting a ride to work became way too expensive, $34 for uber 1 way. so thats $68/day, 6days/week. thats $408/week. my check is only $750/week so i was spending more getting to and from work than anything else. so I was spending most of my paycheck to go to a place to be bullied and discriminated against? I couldnt bring myself to put myself through that torture and embarassment anymore. This whole ordeal was damaging causing me to become depressed to a state I have not ever felt before. I couldnt bring myself to go back there, and when the manager she promoted came back from vacation, he quit too… so my entire wellbeing has been put in jeopardy because of some store director that has no idea what she is doing except how to bully one of the nicest hardest working employees they had. Shame on Shaws for allowing this to continue. Absolutely disgusting.
