Badcock Furniture Frustrating Appliance Issues

Badcock Furniture, New broken appliances. Dear Badcock Corporation: I am writing regarding defective appliances purchased by my mother from your Monticello, Florida store. While we understand this location may no longer operate under the Badcock Home Furniture name, both appliances—a washer and refrigerator purchased in separate years—have experienced persistent problems despite service by certified technicians. Although I currently reside in North Carolina and cannot access the model or serial numbers, I can confirm that we have fully paid for the washer and are nearly finished paying for the refrigerator. Both appliances are currently inoperable: The washer has never properly completed its wash cycle

The refrigerator requires a new control panel, which was promised but never delivered to the repair facility in Tallahassee, Florida; which has been well over a year. These failures have caused significant hardship. My mother was forced to purchase used replacement appliances, and we lost food due to the refrigerator malfunction. Most concerning, the refrigerator’s failure affected our ability to properly store my sister’s insulin medication. My mother went without a working refrigerator for several weeks.We have faithfully maintained our monthly payments despite receiving no utility from these appliances. Given the circumstances, we request either: Free replacement of both appliances, or A full refund of all payments made. As someone with Power of Attorney for my mother, I respectfully request your review of this situation and await your prompt response. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
