Batteries Plus, Key Fab not working on my 550i BMW so I went to the Batteries Plus store in Vista, Ca. To have them look at my Key Fab since it was not locking or unlocking my car. Wade, an employee said that I had a Lifetime Battery replacement. He tried three different batteries only to find that my Key Fab still was not working. I then asked if they could replace my Key Fab with a new one. Unfortunately, Wade said they do not replace for BMW’s. He then suggested that I go to Mr. Keyman Inc. Locksmith down the road. Therefore, I did, and once there, I told the Lock Smith what had happened and I asked him if he could get a BMW Key Fab Replacement. He said he wanted to test the battery from Batteries Plus and it showed that it was a dead battery. He even said that he he was getting other customers from Batteries Plus whom also had the same issue of dead Batteries. He installed a new battery and my Key Fab works perfectly. He then suggested that I go back to Batteries Plus and ask for a refund since it cost me $19.99 for this new battery from Mr. Keyman Inc.. I immediately went back to Batteries Plus only to be told by the owner that it was not their issue even though their battery was dead and did not work with my Key Fab. The owner refused to give me a refund on their dead battery even though I had a Lifetime Warranty. I have used this store several times in the past, however, based on what happened yesterday, I will not recommend this store: Batteries Plus: 2070 Hacienda Dr, Ste D; Vista, Ca.

Batteries Plus, Standing behind battery warranty (or at least checking the battery before saying it’s voided). Overall, my experience with Batteries Plus has been extremely satisfying with the quality and speed of getting the batteries I need. I went to the Lewisville, TX location with an issue on a battery I bought last October, that wouldn’t stay charged and overheated when I put it on the battery charger. I understand that if a battery is left on it’s one it will discharge and cause damage to the battery. I have a collectible car that I don’t drive much and when I went out to use it the battery was dead, even with a solar panel charging it on a ongoing basis. The problem I had was that the technician didn’t bother to check the battery, just said the warranty was voided due to not being started for over a month. That is not the kind of service I need for my battery needs as I have multiple cars and solar panels and need a company that at is at least willing to determining if the product is having issues before brushing off the customer, I will be looking for a new battery supplier for my vehicles.

Batteries Plus, Los Lunas New Mexico. I strongly advise against using this store. The staff here are rude, even when you have legitimate concerns about their batteries. The overall experience with this company has been disappointing. I recommend finding a battery supplier with better customer service and expertise.

Batteries Plus, 5 Button FOB. This is a poorly designed FOB. It got 2 stars because the guy at the store had to interface with me about 5 times and did his best, but the FOB quality is terrible. First time I was getting into my car and reached into my pocket and the unit had fallen into 4 separate pieces. The 2 plastic covers, the printed electronic circuit board and the battery. My backup key FOB is 5 miles away. I was able to cobble it together and get in and start the vehicle. Next time I would get into my car and the alarm would start going off(FOB still in my pocket). The range on this is pathetically sad. I took my ‘older’ FOB and your new one. I could occasionally lock and unlock the car with your FOB at 50 yards. I could remote lock and unlock the car from about 80 yards with my older FOB(7 years old). Yours is a technologically inferior replacement. I still have had multiple issues with doors unlocking and locking when I step into the car.
