Booking.com Frustrating Unresolved Reservation Issues

Booking.com, Fraudulent business practice, hamster wheel/echo chamber customer service. Planned my flight and picked my seats in premium economy months ahead of my trip through booking.com. Did this so I could get seats where my daughter and I could sit next to each other for our 8 hour flight. Went back to look over my reservation a couple weeks before my trip, everything looked good, had seats I selected. Thought I’d better check with airline to be sure everything matched up. Turns out airline has us in different seats in completely different section and the flight is fully booked. Call airline to ask about the mixup and they informed me that the seats that booking.com show as my reserved seats are actually in first class and were never even an option. Trying to explain this to the customer service rep and he literally could not comprehend my issue. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that was not possible. It just went downhill from there and still haven’t found out how to communicate with anyone outside of the middle eastern call center. This is hands down the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. What is the point of this service if not to enhance and simplify the travel experience for the Customer??!!!

Booking.com gave me a choice to pay at the motel or pay them directly so I thought that I would pay them online to make it easier because I had a knee replacement but when it came time to take my trip I couldn’t walk very well so I had to cancel my trip. They gave me $200.00 of the $379.00 and then told me that the Renaissance Hotel had the rest. But that is not true the Renaissance Hotel didn’t charge me anything, Dealing with Booking.com is a joke, They have to be the worst third-party company out there Never Again! Not with these rip-offs.

Booking.com, I made a reservation through Booking.com in March and called the hotel in April to make a change—only to find out they had no record of my reservation, even though I had a confirmation number and had already been charged. When I contacted Booking.com, they said they would email the property and that I’d receive a follow-up call. That call never came. Ten days later, I followed up and was told again that they emailed the property but had no updates. Both times I spoke with their support team, I was disconnected. It seems the only option is to keep calling and hope someone eventually helps. The entire process felt disorganized and unprofessional.

Booking.com, Not acceptable! Our room wasn’t clean properly and we found hair and something else in the fridge and then a womans nail on the floor, dust was very visible.
