Booking.com Main Office - Horrible B&B in Milan

We booked Euro B&B in Milan through booking.com, based on photos that looked nice. Our room was HORRIBLE. Rated a 2 Star, shouldn’t have had a star rating. It was nothing less than disgusting. Our room had duct tape covering holes on walls and ceilings, no shower curtain, a shower rail on floor without a shower door, only 2 towels (the front desk was to deliver a 3rd but never did), bathroom door handle falling off (we never fully shut the door for fear we’d be stuck inside), oscillating fan blades thick with dust and grime, lobby stairs dangerously covered with carpet pad that didn’t follow the stairs (the pad acted more like a slide), the twin bed sunk in the middle, the queen bed’s top sheet was a twin, and more. We left after the 1st night requesting early check-out due to the condition and asked we not be invoiced. Have been contacting booking.com since the day of check-in with little result. Over $700 for this dump? Shame on booking.com. This has been going on since September 19, 2023 when we contacted booking.com that 1st night. It’s now Jan 2024.

This hotel shouldn’t be rated any STAR, much less 2 Stars, or $600USD for 3 nights, or…. on booking.com’s website. It was unacceptable and disturbing. We shared the photos with our Italian friends, and discovered this was typical of an Italian hotel rented for prostitution. It wasn’t a surprise as 2 men at the front desk were asking to rent it for “due ore”.

We stated in our earlier communication that we would pay for the 1 night we had to stay, but not the other two nights due to checking out the following morning.

Once you have kindly reviewed all our communication with booking.com and our photos of Euro B&B, please let us know if you would be happy to stay in such a B&B, even at no cost.

We ask that we be credited, preferably in full, as the photos on booking.com was false advertising and in a sketchy part of town

Booking.com Customer Service Issue

Booking.com Corporate service is very poor. I have a small hotel in Indonesia and have been blocked online. I have tried to resolve this issue for days now without success and no contact numbers for follow up. I don’t think a conglomerate like Booking.com realizes the impact this has on small business, staff and local. communities.

Can’t contact booking.com for assistance. Unable to locate a working phone number for Booking.com. Phone numbers are either busy or ask for the imformation I am trying to get. Very irritating when you have a problem and can’t reach any live person for asisstance. If any one from booking.com reads this please contact me!!!!!!!

Booking.com Reservation Issue

Booking.com, Turned away in a Hurricane. I made a reservation, and prepaid, for a hotel in Tampa for the impending arrival of hurricane Milton. I arrived at the hotel slightly prior to the check in time of 3pm because the storm was approaching fast. On arrival the front doors were locked and a notice on the door said they were closed because of the storm. However, there were people in the front lobby and other guests in the hotel rooms. The front desk wouldn’t open the doors nor answer the phone. I had received my confirmation email the previous day, and receipt for my payment, but was never told of any cancellation. The staff were reckless in turning me, and two others who also had bookings, away to fend for themselves in the hurricane.

I had a bad experience at a Virginia Beach hotel with bed bugs on my 3-year-old. The front desk said it was normal, so I checked out and moved to a different hotel. Ocean27 didn’t refund my payment and charged a resort fee already included in the price. I’ve been waiting for a refund since July 12th and would like Booking.com to resolve this soon.
