BA Customer Service: Worse than the Post office in Mexico

December 15, 2023

I am at my wit’s end, so frustrated I want to yell, curse, and break something. I filed a form with BA on August 8 with documentation for ~ $860 for several flight cancellations, loss of upgrade fees, and loss of seating assignments and other losses (Reference # 25404663). I was told I would be paid in 30 days. Well, 30 days has become over 100 days, nearly four months. I have had follow-up discussions with various customer service representatives (by phone, email, live chats, and robots) on at least 6 occasions. I have always been told by your reps that they can’t contact the refund team directly that the “high volume of claims” has slowed the process, and that I will be contacted soon. Soon never comes. By this point, it is reasonable to conclude that BA’s policy is to wear me out and hope I will give up. Why are you abusing me, mistreating me, and cheating me? Does Sean Doyle know how badly his company is treating me and probably other customers too? Does he care? Please solve this problem. You can solve it; it is also clear you don’t want to. Is there a government agency I could report BA to? I don’t want to do that, but you leave me no choice.
