  1. I would like to know why I was refused the Canadian Tire coupons when buying merchandise. The store can take cash but I was told the directive came from the head office to refuse Canadian Tire money, isn't Canadian Tire money considered a cash value? If you issues the coupons as cash then I really don't understand.

  2. I want to commend an employee in the tire department in store #469, Canmore AB. I was in the tire department late today and the young man at the counter, Zander, took a lot of his time and helped me find the tire I need and arrange for me to have it installed at another store. He worked well past his appointed hour, was pleasant, helpful, and a real joy to work with. He is knowledgeable and friendly. He has great management potential

  3. 5 weeks ago I brought my car into my local Canadian Tire in Chateauguay, QC. I had an appointment to have the battery changed on my 2012 Chevy Cruz. The Mechanic went to the parking lot to retrieve my car. He wrapped around a cement light standard casing. Both passenger side doors and the back fender were scraped and dented. Also broke the handle on the front passenger side door. They took it to be repaired and I am still waiting. I miss my car so much. First I was given an old Toyota which leaked oil in my driveway then we returned it and I was given a kia. The handbrake doesn't work. The flasher doesn't work. The shocks seem to be finished. Every time I make a turn the car grinds and scrapes. I don't know what that is. There is even a blood stain on the dash. I just really really want my car back. I can't believe how I am being treated. I have shopped in Canadian Tire since I was a little girl. I won't ever go back!

    1. There seems to be a lot of I DON'T CARE at most stores. Sad to see another Canadian store going down the drain with the others.

  4. I took my car into Canadian tire Airdrie to have the brakes looked at. I called Saturday morning and was told that they were fully booked for the day but that there was an opening at one the next day. I agreed to the booking. I took the car in at 1257 the next day, apparently the booking was made for the Saturday and not the Sunday. Thankfully they took the car and said that they will try look at it today. I was told that they will charge me 45 dollars to do the inspection. if I accept the quote then they will not charge me the shop fee. Later that day I received a call from a representative stating that I can come and pick up the car, there is no way that they can fix it as there is oil in the brake lines, my car was too old to repair and they were unable to get the parts. I was and am pretty sure that this is not the case as oil separates from the brake fluid. I have removed some and there is nothing separating from the fluid. its a clear color. I picked the car up but was still charged for the shop fee. I asked why and she told me that I now know why the brakes are not working. I told her that I would not mind paying the shop fee but would rather. I offered her my car keys and asked her to fix the car which would then negate the shop fee. She stated no, they were not going to fix my car. I was satisfied with their assessment but felt that although I did not get them to fix my car I should not be paying this fee. It was explained that I would not pay the fee if I chose to accept their quote. I was then not given the option to accept their quote.
